      I was pleased with Orkin until my service guy quit. Then the service went down hill fast! I tried to stay with them, but the new people just weren't doing the job well So, I called to cancel and was told that my last payment would come out on day of my last appointment September 15. I just received a collection notice from them saying I didn't pay all my bill and I was going to collection! They had me pass due 30 days! And today is October 4! And I owe over hundred dollars this is CRAZY. Their billing is crazy and I was never told that it would be prorated when I told them I was going to cancel in August. They did that so they could get extra money so BEWARE

The Region Manager contacted you to discuss your concerns and explained that the balances were from two credit card declines in 2021 and 2022.  The manager removed half the balance for the previous miscommunications regarding the billing. In the future if you ever have a need, we are hopeful you will give us another chance to prove our commitment in providing exception pest control service.       I have two places around my house that have wasp nests. I called Orkin to come and get rid of it because there were a lot of them swimming around. They charged my card $375 the day I called for this service. One guy came over, spent 15 minutes around my house, and left. For one of the nests, he actually needed a ladder, because it was high, but I had never seen him with a ladder. He said he took care of it, and that it would take two or three days for them to disappear. Well, a few days went by and the wasps were still there. We called them again, and they didn't show up. I made 2 appointments for them to come again, and they didn't show up. We kept calling and calling and finally another guy showed up and said he took care of it. It's been two months, and we still have wasps around the house. They give you a 30-day guarantee, but with us calling and calling and not showing up for the appointments, 30 days have gone by already. We still have wasps problems. I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN! SCAMMERS!

      I was never told that my service was a contract. I was only told it would be 320 for the first visit and 90 every visit after. At no point does that sound like a contract. Manager said thst they did inform me it was a contract which I argued and he said there is nothing they can do. So I am stuck paying 90 a month for them to place glue traps which I could have done myself from ******** Will never be using orkin again.

      The contract of service for termite protection was signed in August, 2022. They installed the termite canisters in September, 2022. They came back to check on them when I was not home, I asked them to come back another day. They did not. I checked and ************* are not every **** feet apart around my house. I refused to pay the bill unless they come out. The manager showed ** in August, 2023. Said he was going to have people come out to check on the missing canisters. No one has contacted me, or come to the house. Now I have a collection agency after me to pay for this Rollins ****************** (Orkin) account. DO NOT use this company.

      30 day notice for cancelation is absurd! I'll start with the positive which is they came out quickly (6/20/2023) and took care of the issue that I had. I didn't feel that I needed reocurring service but was convinced to do so. The issue was eliminated after the initial service and I did not need additional service 30+ days later (7/28/2023) but accepted the service and paid. Having a second not necessary service scheduled for 9/26, I attempted to cancel by calling the local branch on **** at 12:26PM CST. I was informed I needed to provide 30 day notice of cancelation and that I signed a contract acknowledging the notice. I said I was happy and didnt need the service. I asked to cancel again and the representative declined citing the 30 day notice. I said I would likely need service on different topics in the future but would be reluctantly to do so if I was held to a 30 day notice. I was again held to the 30 day notice. I would not have agreed to service if the 30 day notice was explained to me up front. I will know who not to use in the future.

      Without a doubt the worst customer experience I have ever been put through.Our initial appointment was scheduled for Sat. July 29th. With flea services requiring you to be out of the home for 4+ hours, this is the only day that worked. We've got a kid and ********* so vacating is quite a process. We scheduled childcare and spent Friday night doing prep work(vacuuming, bathing each of the pets, etc.). Halfway into our scheduled service time, an Orkin rep called to cancel on us. Explaining our scheduling difficulties, Orkin offered us a discount to reschedule. We managed to do so later that week; we worked 8-5 and came home to put our pets in our cars with us for 4+ hours as we waited for the service to be completed. The rep who came was extremely unprofessional; dismissive of our flea issue (numerous times saying 'I don't have a flea on me!' and telling us 'this isn't my first rodeo' when we questioned his professionalism), even threatening at times. In less than 5 minutes he 'treated' our front & back yard, 2 bed 1 bath house and entire basement. The service contract that I signed wasn't even filled out. When we re-entered the house it was clear he hadn't been downstairs, which is where we had the biggest pest issue. Reporting this to Orkin, they apologized profusely, telling us that the man was no longer employed with them due to prior complaints. They said they would give us another discount for our troubles. They scheduled a 'retreatment' "on the house". When that rep came (nearly 3 weeks later) he did not know he was there for a flea treatment - all he did was leave sticky traps. Finally a supervisor came and did an adequate job (we had to vacate for 3 hours) and our issue has now mostly abated. However, looking at my account, I was charged the full amount for EVERY visit - I was actually charged double the amount quoted for follow up visits.When I call to discuss this with management they get defensive and tell me they will call me back the next day.No reply.

      Home team pest control in **** is a scam. I caught the ****** who was supposed to do a service doing nothing but leaving a bill.Be also extra careful about their so called termite stations. There is nothing in these containers.I could see ants and other creatures in the yard and inside the house.After switching to another pest control and termite control company I havent had any issues.

      I would give 0 stars!!!! They gave me bed bugs and would not eradicate roaches I had. All they wanted to do was maintain my ***** problem. I went a year with these pests cause they wouldnt get rid of them, all they wanted to do is maintain them. I would NEVER go through these guys ever!!!!
