      Paid for service and follow up but will not call or do follow up appointment seeking follow up visit or reimbursement for another company to do what they refuse to do

      I called during weekend and scheduled an appointment for inspection following Monday. They gave me **** am and took my e-mail and phone number. The guy on the phone was helpful.The inspector did not shoed at 8:30 am and I called to find a more accurate estimate, they told me the inspector will be close to 10 am. Nobody showed or e-mailed or called or SMS - no contact to tell me what is up. It looks like they are the opposite of the voice recording they play for you while waiting to talk to someone. I was told last time that someone will contact me and I am still waiting. It is hard to understand why they do not at least call when they miss appointments, it is easy to tell the software to let you know you miss your promises. Unless you do not care and I think that is the case here.

      Im one of Orkins old customers. Due to the termites making a return from the bamboo floor and swarming my two rooms, I called the company around May 24th, 2023 for termites re-treatment. They told me that they will schedule a date and inform me soon, but I havent heard anything since. I dont want the termites situation getting worse, so I called again on May 30th, 2023, and then they scheduled on June 27th 2023, about A MONTH later! The efficiency of the company really sucks!Why not preparing hiring and training more servicemen during the hot season? In terms of making quick profit, they treat their new customers way much better than their existing old customers! My warning to the potential new customers - New customers, youll soon become its old customers!

      This branch is the worst. I can NEVER get a person to answer the phone when I need them. We had an issue with clover mites, I called 3 times over 2 days and got routed straight to their voice message each time. I called another service and they a) answered their phone with a live person and b) came the next day to treat the situation.I then tried to cancel my service with Orkin because this was not the first time we have had to call them several times to get something done - and I have called at least 7 times over 3 weeks (if not more) and emailed them through their website twice and can not get a single person to answer my calls or emails.The only upside is they are timely for their quarterly visits and give me advance notice of that.

      So... I paid $468 for NOTHING! The spray that they provide, I could get that from Lowes or *********** If I would have know this I would not have wasted my time even contacting this company. Had I known the type of "services" they would actually provide, I would have saved myself 468 **** dollars ?? not only was the spray job half assed, I'm STILL missing 3 other trap boxes. But, here's the kicker... because I cancelled this waste of a service, now they wont provide me the other 3 trap boxes that i AGAIN... PAID 468 dollars for ?? isn't that lovely. Very professional company ???? DO NOT go to these people. Please choose another company. Will be contacting the BBB and ************************ per my card company now ??

      We obtained Orkin Pest Control in December 2022 for pest control. Service has been okay, but the issue I'm having is with them not crediting my account for payment. The payment has been verified with my bank as an electronic transaction, and they've been paid. They're. still trying to obtain the money from me, and when I contact them a rep named ***** is rude, and told me I needed to look up the number for corporate, because she didn't have it. I'm not paying them again, when it's on their end. All of the numbers listed for their contact information leads back to the rude representative *****. I want to file a complaint here, but it's not directing me to the right area. Stay away from this company.

      The Branch Manager reached out and spoke with the customer.  Asked that she send a picture of the removal of money from her account so that the Branch can investigate any transactional issues on Orkin's side.  The representative is also being coached, and provided all corporate numbers.  Please reach out to the local ************* with any other concerns.

      Buyer BEWARE! I have a client who's had their termite bond with Orkin for almost 30 years. In the process of selling the house, it turns out there is some "old" termite damage and I can't get anyone to respond to me about fixing the $2,500 worth of damage so the he can move forward with the sale of the house. They're saying this damage is pre-existing but can't seem to provide anything showing that to be the case. I don't feel this is ethical business practice for them to NOT cover damage that they are responsible for. I would recommend you look elsewhere for a termite bond.

      I second the 0 star option - this branch is absolutely terrible to deal with. When we first started with Orkin they were great and the shame of it is is that their services are great, we haven't seen any bugs since BUT their costumer service is atrocious. After a year of services they stopped showing up to appointments but would still charge me for the service. There were no calls of them running late or having to re-schedule, they would just be a no-show and then would re-schedule the service without contacting me to see if the date or time was good. They even would put me down for service between 8AM and 5PM. Absolute disaster! So after dealing with this issue for several months I decided it was time to cancel. I could never get a hold of anyone at the ************* branch, and after calling Orkin's corporate number I was still getting no where. After over a month of calls, multiple cancellations and two refunds I was scheduled for yet another service - absolutely not. So I tried once again to contact someone at ************* and was put through to ******************************* who was so rude and quite aggressive. After a not so productive conversation I asked him to please send me proof of cancellation and he hung up on me. I have no idea if my services have in fact been cancelled but this has been an absolute nightmare. I highly discourage you to use their services, especially if you have to deal with the ************* branch.

      I have had Orkin pest and termite control for years. In the past 3 years, Orkin has tried to tell me I had bat problems. Three years ago they informed me that I needed to spend between $10,000 to $15,000 to correct the problem. After an inspection from another contractor, there was not a bat problem. Then, last month Orkin did a termite inspection of the attic and said I would need to spend between $8000 to $10,000 to correct. Wildlife control did an inspection and found no bat issues. I feel like Orkin is trying to take advantage of me and I could have spent almost $25,000 for something that I did not need. I have since cancelled my service. Please be careful when dealing with Orkin termite control. Always get a second opinion.
