      I canceled my account and stopped service before the next scheduled day. They didnt showed up on the scheduled time. Received a message within same month I canceled they were coming to service my house without me requesting service. I called them and told them I had canceled my account. They said they would cancel and notify driver since he wasnt at my house yet. The driver still came in and now they wont stop changing me. Now I received another bill adding February without even servicing my house. *** called like 20 times to have them fix this issue however is like talking to monkeys. The managers say theyll call me back and they dont. The one O spoke to said since they service my house he has to charge at least half. I dont think is fair I pay for services I didnt request. I will not use them again!!!!!

      I told the man before he came in that I had a little boy in the house. I let him know my concerns about the poison that they use. The man sprayed my son in the face with the poison that they use to kill pests. How do you miss the window and shoot the stuff behind you? At that exact moment, I was ******* my son out of the room, because I didn't trust him being around it.The only thing I wanted was for my son to be away from that stuff, and it went right on his face AND eyes.I didn't even think this type of thing was possible. You have one job..

      ORKIN/********* ** PUT ** TO COLLECTION AGENCY FOR SO CALLED SERVICES THAT WAS NEVER PROVIDED TO US. For the first 2 years they did pretty well. On last qtr. of year 2021 changes occurred I started seeing few live bugs, Called technician & came and requested for a hard copy of an actual invoice to be handed to the cashier in charge every time they service us and also to see what chemical/method they use every visit. and I talked to manager about that but to no avail. Year2022 Being short w/ workers, I've been xtremely busy and I was surprised bugs are not controlled. Texted the technician but no response I have to buy ***** trap myself. Billing **** asking for payments. i was upset but I decided to pay the rest of 3 months (jan feb mar2022) and be done with them. But after June 2022, Billing **** asking for payments again for Apr may jun. This time I didn't paid them and now put me to collection agency. Actually they owed me money because Service technician only showed up once for 3 minutes around Feb 2022 and I paid $360 for those 3 months. And I can't imagine what the service technician can do for 3 minutes. and definitely no serviced was done on those 3 months they are billing me. I need help how to stop the collectors and for Orkin to clear our name.

      We have been pleased with our Orkin pest services. We have not had any pressure to buy unneeded services. We have a bi monthly contract and getting appointments to work with our schedule has not been a problem. We have not had ******** issues to date. Our field service agent is respectful of property and professional as well as friendly. Seems knowledgeable in response to my questions. We have had Orkin services at our previous homes and had excellent service at each.

      When Orkin 1st arrived in May of 2022 it was in reference to a rodent (squirrel) in the attic of our home. They inspected the attic and took measures to solve the problem. This included patching and pumping $4,000 worth of insulation into the already insulated attic. Orkin told me the "new insulation was composed of a substance made to repel all insects and rodents. Since that time, I have called Orkin regarding the activity in the attic, which has never stopped. I was told after the last visit by 2 workers that the squirrels had "chewed their way into the attic thru the soffit. They also did a "roof inspection" and told me "The roof needed to be replaced". The next day I contacted a roofing company and told them I needed a new roof. The following day the roofing company arrived, inspected the roof, and told me the roof is perfect and I did not need to replace it. Now I called an animal trapper to take care of the squirrel(s) in the attic. Finally: Orkins #4,000.00 solution was a lie. Orkins story about needing a new roof, was a lie. Orkins claim to have rodent ******ant insulation, is a lie. I am refusing to pay any more on a bill for something, I never needed in the 1st place. In fact, I feel a refund for payments already made would not be an unfair request. As a senior I strongly resent being taken advantage of!

      My single story condo unit is wood frame. My HOA has maintained and paid for an Orkin retreat and repair termite policy since ****. In November of 2022, I discovered termite damage to a load bearing wall of my unit. I will explain:When my drywall next to my ceiling started cracking, I suspected there was termite damage. When the first Orkin representative showed up (*********************************), he did no type of testing or inspections whatsoever. He would not even acknowledge the cracking drywall. When I offered to expose the framing members behind the drywall, he said that he had to leave to his next appointment. The next morning, I exposed the wood framing, found the termite damage, and sent the photos to *******. He then came again, this time with his branch manager, *************************. When **** saw that I had uncovered termite damage, he became extremely irate. He questioned me over and over again as to why I have exposed the termite damage. He then said that Orkin would not cover the damage, and he left. To this day, no one from Orkin has come to my house to inspect the damage, or to do any type of testing whatsoever to determine the extent of the damage, or to try and determine when the damage occurred, or to explain to me why they are denying my claim, despite the fact that my HOA has maintained and paid for a retreat and repair policy with Orkin for since ****. I find myself asking why anyone would want to purchase a retreat and repair policy with Orkin if they are simply going to deny the claim. The Orkin reps that came to my home claimed that there was no active termite activity in my wood when they came to my house, and therefor the damage was old and they would not pay for it. If they did not do any inspections or testing whatsoever, how could they make that claim? And how could Orkin determine if the damage occurred prior to **** or not? Homes that have termite damage are not always going to have live termites present when the Orkin rep shows up.

      Thank you for your feedback, Orkin is working with the *** with whom they have the agreement with. The *** is reviewing the agreements and the Orkin Pro let the *** know that they would come out and reinspect if they found more damage or live termites were found. In inspecting **************** unit, they found old damage and that there were no live termites. Orkin will continue to work with the *** with any matters at hand.

      We were very disappointed with Orkin.We have mice in our attic so called Orkin to help.The guy who came said he didnt do attics and maybe the noise we hear is from the furnace- how disappointing!Our condo will never do business with them again.

      Thank you for your feedback. The Branch Manager serviced the home on January 11th and explained the service and what they need to do as far as exclusion. The manager also made some recommendations in the garage area.

      The manager did talk to ***** and ***** will seal up the structural gaps and get a contractor for the ones that are too large.

      My experience here in ***** with contractors/vendors has been similar to the shootout at the OK Corral. Absolutely Buyer Beware, despite being given a good review by their professional association, do business at your own risk In 12/2022 Serv. Tech. came out and said it would be $21,000 dollars for clearing the house of rodents, inclusive of the house, basement and attic, removing previously contaminated insulation, replacing it with new, cleaning and decontaminating the house. I agreed to this and paid for it. At the time I believed he did a good job, but now I have absolutely no confidence in *****'s representations. In addition, I am supposed to pay Orkin monthly fees. I had no choice but to accept contract as I live across the river from ******, and was unable to find anyone in the area to deal with the issue. I am elderly and unable to physically attend to these matters.I believed the service tech would come out every month, was then informed by *********** it was every 2 months. After waiting 7 weeks, I had an appt. for 12/29/22 for ***** to check traps. ***** never showed. I called call center; they put me on hold and checked with him, and then told me that he couldn't make it. ***** has my email, and phone no., never notified me, never called me. Call center then said ***** wanted to come on 12/30 in the morning, when I would not be home - I would be at work and could not be absent.*********** forwarded me to ***************************, Serv. Mgr., who told me he was driving and would have to speak with *****. Requested he call me back by ****, 12/30 at 4 p.m. *************************** never called back. Orkin office was closed on 1/2/23, so I called on 1/3/23 and told *************************** was busy. I requested he call me back. *************************** didn't return my call. Waited until Thursday, Jan. 5 called for ***************************. Again told he wasn't available, but they would forward my message to *********************************, his manager, and ************************ would call me back.

The Orkin Pro went to her house to inspect for new rodent activity. No new evidence was found,and the Orkin Pro was able to answer Ms. ****** questions and concerns.

      ORKIN did not provide the promised service; almost lost a tenant because of their minimal effort.**** repeated phone calls to find out why the issue was not resolved. I was told several times that a manager would return my call. Finally one did return my call and he explained that he, himself would go with the technician the next day and would call me after the visit.Crickets, no phone call. Had to call again. An ORKIN inspection was deemed in order. He gave me a outrageously expensive quote for a tiny house. Thousands!!I called an exterminator recommended by a friend. He took care of the issue for less than $700.I called and cancelled my service with ORKIN.Now about 2 months later I receive a text from ORKIN about an upcoming service.I called ORKIN. They never processed my cancellation request. I requested documentation when I originally cancelled and today. **** said she would sent it. Nothing received. Going to go to their office in person next.

      Was referred to Critter Control from Orkin due to finding a snake skin while cleaning out my garage, so to be clear, this review is for Critter Control Branch #****, Account #*******.My primary complaint is that the salesperson I was assigned missed the **** completely in estimating my rodent problem. He estimated that I had ***** mice to deal with on the property, an estimate which he used to sell me on over $3.5k in services.After those services were completed, Critter Control had caught exactly 0 mice, and 0 snakes.Additionally, there was an issue where I got charged twice for my roof exclusion work, but thankfully ************** helped me rectify that and submitted a request to refund the $700 overcharge.All in all, I mostly just feel like a massive sucker for having used these services at all. EXTREMELY low value to cost ratio.

      1/20/2023: I can confirm that Critter Control contacted me and discussed the situation, and we came to an agreement that leaves me feeling like I paid a fair price for the services rendered.If you use Critter Control, I do recommend being an active consumer and partner in the process - passively going along like I did can lead to dissatisfaction.As far as where I landed, I enjoyed working with their tech, and their management, and both seem to care that they're doing good work and delivering good value.Further, I agree with the business' comment above that the Salesperson didn't overestimate the severity of my situation out of malice, they simply used the methods available to them.The one portion of the experience that was harder than it needed to be was dealing with billing - having to argue with their billing department on the phone over the $700 overcharge and then having them sheepishly contact me via e-mail later that I was right wasn't the best experience.But overall, I'm now satisfied with the work they did and the price I paid. Thanks for working with me Critter Control.
