  We have looked at multiple houses in ************ and they were ALL filthy and looked as if they hadn't been maintained in a very long time. There was chipped paint, cabinets with chips in them. Carpets were old and stained. Spider webs everywhere. I don't know how they aren't completely embarrassed to charge people what they charge them and have their properties look the way they do. First key said they wouldn't be doing anything about those issues unless it is a serious safety issue. How can any of this be allowed? I can't understand how they sleep at night and I can't believe this is legal. They should be ashamed, especially when government housing takes better care of their residents and properties.

  FirstKey Homes Unprofessional and a scam. They took my application fee and didnt process my application at all telling me I was turned down based on credit and rental Score. No documentation was provided to them and the agency twodots they use for verification of applicants couldnt process because they didnt merge the files. Nothing was even looked at as far as my credit either per all 3 credit reports. No one would speak to me about it as I left multiple messages via text, email and voice messages.

  Believe the reviews. Dont rent here. They are definitely scammers. Less than a year of moving in, they put the house up for sell and told me I had to leave. Upon moving out, they came up with fake charges to try and keep as much of my $2100 security deposit as possible. They have been avoiding my calls. My dispute is concerning a refund for the remaining days that I paid rent for the month of April, but did not live there. I sent them pictures to confirm that I vacated. However, they are saying because I moved on the weekend, they werent able to verify my move. Although I did exactly everything they asked me to do with my move out. They have been making up things as they gowont return phone calls and lack integrity. Scammers and cowards. (A.T.L. BRANCH)

  As a homeowner living across the street from a FirstKey owned home, I am exasperated by the lack of ease in finding someone to talk to and the lack of responsiveness to resolving ************* standards and City violations in maintaining yards and debris. I have been lied to, hung up on and ignored. FirstKey is a horrible neighbor.

  I wish I could leave a zero star review at this point. Let me summarize the past 4 days. Friday viewed home via rently access. Home is gorgeous. Submitted a request via ****** for the leasing agent to contact me. I get a phone call while Im busy, and I try calling back 4 times, spaced out. Even emailed her. No reply. Saturday Im having fun at ******, but still take the time to reach out 3 more times. No reply. Monday I reach out directly to their call center, am assured that I will hear back. Please, laugh with me. No call back, no email. I called twice. I end up working a shift, and now Ive been awake for way too long.Tuesday morning I call twice, to get a different leasing agent. I get a phone call, again, while cooking, I call back within 5 minutes. No answer. I call back 3 more times over the next 2 hours. At this point? Im here on BBB, reading reviews and losing hope. This house is great, but I do not want to have those fees. I finally got a hold of someone. Then, I get mistakenly hung up on (phone fumble), and here we are. Posting a review. *****, you are trash for never replying. ****? Your fake fumble and your attitude require work on authenticity. This was not worth my time, and how long Ive been awake, but you know what? Im wiser now, and I dont regret that.I dont recommend. Zero stars, put it all in the trash.

  The worst ******************* ever. I rented for 4 years never late. Paid a $2,500 deposit, still waiting on my deposit credit. The house was left in good condition, but my invoice has charges on it that was not talked about during my walk through. **************** gave me a run down and provide a phone number to my case manger. The number DOES NOT work No response from Cwoodhouse@firstkeyhomes. com .. Im still waiting on my credit I. Which I have the invoice of how much Im supposed to get back! I would not recommended this company to my worst enemy. No way

  Followed directions to set up a viewing for a home, and I am required to set up a subscription plan that I have to pay for in order to view homes. I do not believe this is ethical or okay.

  Weve been with First Keys Homes for 2 years and have had ZERO issues with getting repairs done. Some have been timely but nevertheless, they were completed. Each service individual has been professional, timely and cleanly. ****** (our recent serviceman) did an amazing job of completing a ceiling job caused by an upstairs water leak. The water damage was in the kitchen. He was professional and his cleanliness was excellent. Thank you ******. ????
