      Would give zero stars if i could!! Please please do not do not rent from this company. Theyre total trash. Ive been living in my rental for not even two weeks Ive had nothing but problems. We moved in to a dirty house after we were told a cleaning company will clean the property prior to us moving in! I submitted multiple maintenance request asking them to come at least clean the trash cans. And got no where, after my wife and I deep clean the inside and finally unpacked our house holds goods a cleaning company called me asking if I need them to come clean my house We said no obviously! but I asked if they could come clean they garage and the outside they said no. After you pay 1st month rent and deposit, signed the contract. Do not expect anything out of them. Definitely definitely counting the days until my lease is up. Oh and they told me its my responsibility to clean the trash cans from previous tenants!!!

      All in all a great company to deal with for application and move in. Everything went very smooth and when I had a question, someone was just a phone call away and were always able to answer my questions. This is the first time I have moved without ever having to meet a person to show me a home so I was nervious at first but everything ended up being super simple and very convenient. Our application got approved within a very short time. The lease was forwarded over in a timely manner and we received the code for the keys to our new rental home at the time promised. The home was in a very nice shape and very clean. They even put the plug ins throughout the house so the house smelled amazing when we walked in. I have to say I am extremely happy with everything and would highly recommend this company if you are moving.

      Embarrassingly bad website. I received an error message halfway through the application process, "You are required to select an before proceeding further, please click here to continue with your selection." What?Not only did it bring me to a screen that did not allow me to do anything, the call support center has been outsourced to another country, so the person on the other end was unable to help or understand my situation. Instead she relied on a script to take my information down. This is one of the few rental agencies that allows three dogs, so I'm forced to work with them.

      I moved in on 5/5/2022 to a house that was over $100 and issues all around the home from poor workmanship. The pre move in inspection stated no problems which was an absolute lie. Due to non livable conditions I was forced into a hotel for the night while this company failed to secure an AC tech that could fix the issue. I paid for my hotel stay, increased AC electric bills, had to find my own AC tech which I paid for out of pocket and had numerous issues that I was told would be fixed. Here we are 3 months later with no resolution from the company, no responses, no concessions, and no honesty. This has been, by far, the WORST company Ive rented from and I absolutely expect to be screwed out of my security deposit when my lease is done due to their inability to be honest or communicate. For the first time as a renter I will fight tooth and nail to make sure any assessment of this house upon lease break is witnessed by me and in writing with signatures. Through the entire process Ive been ignored, lied to, and my wife was literally laughed at by a call center employee seconds before he hung up on us when the house we were supposed to move into was **************************************************************** Communicate, be truthful, and reimburse the concessions I was told I would receive.

      DO NOT TRUST THEM!!! NEGATIVE 5 STARS Before we signed the 72 page lease that flat out allows the agents to verbally and put in writing things they never intend to honor, we reported our concerns about the house not being clean and were told it would be cleaned and sanitized. We did not get an inspection report as they stated we would get before moving in and the key wasnt available to us until 5 August, but we were charged rent starting on the 4th. Needless to say it was not cleaned at all. The carpets, baseboards, cabinets and appliances are absolutely filthy and its clear the house was not cleaned nor sanitized. Pet and human hair was all throughout the home. After several calls and emails with photos of the filth, they said they would credit us for the extra day of rent we were charged and inconvenience of the condition of the house. They havent given any credits. The carpets were so bad we couldnt wait for them to get back to us, so we paid $330 to have them done and said wed send them the receipt for reimbursement. Of course they said they couldnt reimburse us but they got approval to send a cleaning team out for the rest of the house. We took time off work and sat in the empty home for 2 days straight expecting a cleaning team they set-up to resolve this inconvenient oversight, but the only people that showed up were 2 gentlemen on the 1st day that were 6 hours late after hours of the property manager being told they were on the way. These guys came over in truck full of trash and a rug doctor ******* that they used the water faucet on the side of the home to fill up before knocking on our door. They had no other supplies or equipment, no identification of who they were with and claimed not to speak much English. So when I told them the carpets did not need to be cleaned and that only the house did, they left.

      They will not help my husband and I with a mouse infestation in a rental we were not aware of until after move-in. I have NEVER had pest issues before, especially with vermin, and I'm shocked that renting an expensive single-family home does not translate to services to even maintain the property they are renting out.

      I attempted applying for a home rental through first key. The representative ******************************* was very rude and uncaring. I mean over the top rude and uncaring. Her whole conversation is like she is shouting at you and she hung up on me when I cancelled my application.This company is shady, and terrible to work with. They keep nit-picking you over silly details and treat you like you are dirt.One example of the many nit picking details was that I sent in an offer letter from my new employer. First they needed screen shots of the email chain. There were several other issues, the final straw was when the body of the letter did not say they are in *******, only the company letterhead at the top and the address, name of the manager and signature at the bottom.!!! Please do not apply through FirstKey, they have to be the worst !!!

      Hello from *********! This is the 3rd review we've posted because the 3rd FirstKey Homes staff member to help us secure our new home rental was just as outstanding as the first two! *************************** is our "Move-in Coordinator". My husband and I are (young) seniors and haven't rented anything in decades, so the whole rental process has been intimidating for us to learn. In spite of our numerous times asking for confirmation that we understood each step, ***** has treated us like we've been the only people she has to help. Her replies have been so swift- like within 5-minutes! Her attention to detail and her skill at explaining what to us is a confusing new thing is fantastic. We can't say enough good about *****, or any FirstKey Homes representative we've had the pleasure of meeting. We are "old" and out-of-touch about these new ways of transacting business, but we aren't so old that we don't recognize great customer service. We are excited to start this next chapter of our lives with FirstKey. Highly Recommend!

      **** was my maintenance guy. Came and solved my water heater issue very quickly and made sure that he didn't leave until all problems were solved. **** is a true example of great customer service.
