1 starWe came to floor and decor to get a prefab granite countertop, like we have in the past. We have always used our vehicle with signing a release of liability to pick up the countertops, but this store wouldnt allow it. After explaining our process, they took the money for the countertop but afterwards wouldnt load it. They also wouldnt refund the money same day so I was out $400 until my bank decided to refund it. *** the manager kept stating that these were company policies but refused to show me the policies, and obviously they were false because we have done this multiple times at other floor and decor stores. Very displeased with the customer service and will not be returning.Review fromBrandi A

1 starHow you stay in business is beyond me, I thought that a well known and nation-wide institution could be trusted to sell an at least half-way decent product but absolutely not. We bought the most expensive "Luxury" vinyl plank flooring available in our local warehouse which boasts a "lifetime" warranty and also boasts 100% waterproof. WHY ON EARTH IS MY FLOOR BUCKLING AND EXPANDING AFTER A SMALL LEAK THAT WAS WIPED UP AND DRIED WITH A FAN IMMEDIATELY? Not to mention the plethora of scratches all over the place (after the ridiculous salesman made a spectacle of himself supposedly trying to scratch up the display piece with a boxcutter) which I now realize was some kind of ridiculous theatrical performance. I want my money back. Oh and that includes the $500 roll of protective underlayment I bought to ensure any warranty claims would be a non-issue.Review fromNanci M

1 starI've purchased flooring here several times, for a house and a condo I own. I never had a problem until I tried to return flooring that was not acceptable for what I needed. When I get the flooring to the place, I open it up and lay several pieces out to make sure it' the right look. Did the same for this project and didn't like it so I returned it. They don't accept open boxes, not installed pieces, any open box! How can you tell it's good unless several pieces are laid out and viewed in different spots? Is it because I'm a female? I feel cheated. I found a better product at ********** who will accept any return, even opened (not installed!) boxes. I know who will get my business this summer, my many neighbors too.Review fromStacy H

1 starWe purchased ******* European Brushed Oak flooring at $13/sq foot. It was recommended by F& D over other products due to the Colorado climate. We used the recommended installers, "Installation Made Easy", used the recommended glue down process to prevent cracking and warping, we seasoned the floors for 8 weeks prior to install. We then noticed after about 24 months, that three boards, all adjoining were cracking through the entire board. We contacted Floor and Decor, we were told to obtain an independent inspection, by their recommended inspector, Qwest for $450, then told to get the installer to quote the repair. Flawless Floors, $1,200. We were then told that the damage was "site related" and offered a free box of flooring for $247 but only after signing a Release of liability for the entire floor. ($30K worth of materials and labor). How are these people still in business????Review fromjaime v

1 starWe purchased Forest Oaks grey colored laminate flooring for the purpose of being able to hold up to our dogs' paws and was advised by the consultant in the store that this was the perfect product for my expectations, also for maintenance was recommended to use only water and a mild soap such as **** which I have only used since these floors has been installed. However recently I have noticed scratches appearing wherever my dog walks and thus reached out to Floor & Decor's customer service in regard to the issue since the product clearly states scratch, stain, and fade resistant with a 25-year warranty. It's only been just at 4 years, and I was told by a ************************************ that although the product states scratch resistant, they are really not her words exactly. This is false advertisement on several levels not only the product itself, but the consultant sold us this flooring with scratch resistant being the primary purpose and advising of the warranty and to just be shoved off without even a consideration for this is just absolutely disgusting. I have reached out to my attorney in regard to this has this is completely false to do this to their customers. I will never shop at Floor & Decor or recommend them or their products to anyone else again.Review frombrandon c

1 starBeware and consider the multiple reviews warning about dirty return policies from this terrible business. There is a 90 day return policy, which is ridiculous for a business selling items used in home renovations. That being said, I attempted to return items after this date in perfect sellable shape and with my online receipt. The worker at check out attempted a return and then said we could get store credit. We agreed but she was then unable to process. Instead of saying, you can't return, she suddenly handed us a receipt with a phone number for ***************. We reloaded everything back into the car and I had to wait until Monday to call. I had no idea what these people were talking about ... after multiple calls, they told me my return is denied but I should enter a "dispute" by email. I did so then did not hear back for 4 weeks. I called two consecutive weeks more in a row, with them telling me to call back again, and on the 6th week, I got an email that might as well have been gibberish. I called again and they said, "you returned outside the return window so it's denied." All that for the same (lack of) answer as on day one. I have never felt more disrespected by a company. I am a physician who, like all everyone other hardworking citizen, DOES NOT HAVE TIME FOR GAMES. Also, *************** is the most confusing middle man out there; I still have no idea the intent of this company and they utilize the last 4 digits of your driver's license and a long ticket number to look you up. So every time you call you need to get your driver's license out just to have them tell you words that make no sense. Floor & Decor does not care and will not be receiving any more of my money. Please save yours as well.Review fromKevin K

5 starsMy wife and I went here from a recommendation. It was obvious when we arrived we had no idea what we were doing. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by just a wonderful lady. We told her what we were interested in and she politely and professionally took us to what we were looking for. (I did not get her name, unfortunately.) She turned us over a young lady named *****, which is why I am writing this. She was absolutely fantastic. She was patient, professional, friendly and stayed with us from start to finish. I couldnt find another venue to show our appreciation. I hope this gets to her and management. ??Review fromFrances J

1 starDisappointed in **** and Decor closing out several complaints about a defected possible toxic problem with a Cayenne Wood Plank Porcelain Tile. A **** sq ft flooring was purchased from **** and Decor and installed throughout our condo. Its like a black die coming through the Cayenne Wood Plank Porcelain Tile. We cannot walk without shoes for our feet would be black. After steaming and scrubbing it continues to come thru the tile. **** and Decor wouldn't even send an expert out to test or examine the floor. We pleaded and time after time they denied and closed case. A Cayenne Wood Plank Porcelain Tile floor was purchased five years ago from the previous owner, which before our closing of our Condo they completely renovated and left us all the receipts from flooring to appliances incase of any problems. They paid approximately $25,000 to have the whole Condo done with Floor and Decor flooring. **** and Decor said we were not the original purchasers even though we had the receipts and name of original purchasers which they could see it was the same address. A plea to BBB for help or direction.
