Received same day email from ****************************************************************************************** with coupon ID and link to redeem the voucher for $0 due for **** Club membership. I am filing a complaint against this company for a refund of $28.75 and I also want to see if something can be done about their bad business practices. The company offers gift certificate for half-price every Thursday on a local news channel. They advertise on television and send out emails. Often times, I will be on the payment of a transaction and it will not advance for purchase. I will not get the gift certificate BUT I will have been charged for it. This has happened on numerous occasions. One time, I was charged 3 times but the certificate was never processed. This company NEVER refunds the charged amount on their own - you always have to email them and request a refund. Therefore, if someone (not familiar with their poor business ethics) did not check their credit card statement, they would pay for a gift certificate that they will never receive.You also have to email them about the charges - they offer no phone number and say they only respond to emails and it can take up to ten days. Meanwhile, I am paying interest on a purchase that I will NEVER receive.This seems like an illegal practice and should be investigated. I am also going to contact the attorney general about this. They need to update their purchasing system because I think that it can't handle the volume of purchasers when the gift certificates go on sale.Business Response

I have been trying to get my issue resolved since November 2023. I purchased a $50 gift certificate for ******* Restaurant at 50% off. I was delivered an envelope that was never sealed shut (which I still have in my possession) and contained nothing inside. It undoubtedly fell out during the whole mail delivery process. I've sent a bunch of emails to them but they never agree to resolve the issue. This is crazy, it's been nearly 3 months. I would like to have the giftcard replaced, but at this rate I would take a refund. I am requesting a refund on the $28.95 I paid for Half Off Certificates to be used at a local bakery through an advertising promotion sponsored by a local radio station (Z95.1). All supporting documents are attached for your reference. On 10 Nov 2023 I placed an online order through the IncentREV website for five half-off certificates at a price of $28.95 to be mailed within **** days. On 17 Nov 2023 I received an email from IncentREV notifying me that my ****** Local Deals order had shipped. On 05 Dec 2023 I contacted IncentREV to report nonreceipt of my order and to request they initiate a tracer action with the US *************** On06 Dec 2023 IncentREV replied to my inquiry indicating they would not resend the missing certificates until 28 business days had passed.
