      I began calling at 9am this morning to cancel my life insurance policy. No one and I mean no one can tell me the right department,. I have been on 4 different calls with hold times of 40 minutes each. Once I do get a person they tell me I am in the wrong department and will transfer me to the right department,,, which was never the right department. I was disconnected from the line 3 times all to have to begin all over. I finally got someone on the phone at 5 pm after yelling for help, only for the woman to say she can help me and disconnect the line. I tried yet another number where the agent said she found my information but guess what now that department is closed. This solidified that I am making the correct decision in canceling this policy. If I have gotten the run around all day I can not imagine my family having to call and deal with this nonsense after I pass. It is unreal that a huge corporation has so many prompts, third parties,buttons, people, departments yet not one single person knew what they were doing as I was passed from department to department for 8 hours, When I began this policy the lady had no issue collecting my information and taking my payments and setting up auto payment, Now that I want to leave no one knows what they are doing. Absolutely absurd and a lot of training opportunities. I would never recommend this company after today. I can not imagine the elderly having to go through this nightmare of navigation.

      Absolutely terrible. I filed a cancellation form for my policy on December 18th with my representative, and she stated that it was received and submitted. Fast forward to now, February 12th, and they sent me a BILL in the mail for payment. I switched jobs a month after I cancelled it, so once that hit, they started billing me because they didn’t have my new payment information. You try to call customer support or chat? Good luck. The chat ends before you can even explain your situation, and they don’t give you a call back until 24 HOURS later. It’s the most unprofessional business I’ve ever had to deal with.

      Aflac recently declined my application for a Medicare supplemental plan due to "treatment for dementia and Alzheimer's". This is NOT TRUE. I called Aflac's 800 number twice, selected "Reason for Denial" and twice the phone rang for 5 minutes and then the call abruptly ended. I was not given a chance to talk to a rep or leave a voicemail. * ***** * ********* **** **** ******** ******* ***** ******* *** ******* ********* *************

      I submitted a claim to Aflac for an injury I received due to an accident. Nothing showed up online after I filed the claim so I filed it again 2 days later and still nothing so I called about 2 weeks later and was told that it would be reviewed 1/31/2024. Well, I checked again this morning and it's still not showing the claim. I have been paying in to this policy for over two years and this is the first time I've tried to use it. When it comes time for open enrollment, I will definitely not renew this coverage. It is a scam and I want everyone to know that.

      I have had Aflac for many years through my job. I finally started using it and have not had very many difficulties. They have paid nearly each claim including the critical illness lump sum.

      AFLAC is a con pure and simple. I have been going back and forth fighting with them for 2 months after being hospitalized from a stroke. Every claim has been denied even though the correct paperwork they requested was uploaded with the claim. Don't waste your money. There are far better policies out there.

      AFLAC is the most despicable company there is. They spend time collecting premiums and do not pay out customers. They have a backlog and they tell you upfront that your claim will be reviewed in the order it was received so if they’re backlog is six months guess what. You can’t talk anyone. I will never do business with this company. They told me it was gonna take a week just to have my claim reviewed so that’s weeks I’m out of work with no money ridiculous.

      Absolutely horrible customer service, have been calling to find out about my life insurance for three months now , and each time I was told it was in the mail,, Do not use aflac for any type of insurance, better off flushing your money down the bowl.

      Horrible. Do not believe the Agents. Aflac has no support to back up what they sell. Therefore the Agents can do nothing after the initial policy purchase yet still make money from your policies. Hard to remove agent if they are not doing there job that they swear they will do and take “care” of you and no recourse if they dont.
      PLEASE DO NOT WAIST YOUR MONEY YOU WILL HAVE TO CHASE TO GET IT!
      When you go through a tough time that is the last thing you will have time to do…especially the hoops you jump through to get it.

      I wish I could give it negative 5 stars. Aflac has been taking money out of my paycheck for over 2 years now. I filed a claim at the beginning of November 2023. I sent in all required documentation and I have been given the runaround ever since. At first I was told the turnaround time to process my claim would be a few business days. A few business days turned into 1 to 2 weeks which has now turned into two months and it is still under review. When calling into Aflac you're prompted to give your identifying information and are then told they are unable to pull up your account using that information. Even after giving certificate number and claim number I have been told by several different reps that my account information has not been found. After having to become irate they miraculously pull up my account then proceed to tell me I haven't submitted my documentation after being told by a previous representative that they have all documentation and its still processing. It is just unfortunate and unfair that you are sold this insurance when starting a job and to have it taken out of your paycheck in an already inflated economy today and then to have a life event and given the runaround by a supposed to be trusted company. I have planned to meet with lawyer and will be taking this matter to court because I am done begging them to pay me.
