  I have Aflac Dental through my work. I checked one star, but I honestly wouldn’t give them that much. I’ve had two routine maintenance (teeth cleaning) appointments since June of 2023. Just today, I heard from my dental office that they paid on my Claim. They were billed for $189, and they paid $11.80, and on the claim review that they sent to my dental office, it states that they didn’t pay it because of my age. Discrimination is all I can say!

  This company has been giving me the run around since I filed my claim on my accident policy for a 4 day hospital stay. They first said documents I sent were illegible and I sent them back 2 different ways and I was assured that we're legible documents. When the resubmitted documents were sent no one has reviewed them. I keep getting told it is being escalated and give it 24-48 hours since February and it is May. They have managed to continue to collect my premium with no problem, but I was told if I canceled they don't have to pay my claim even though it would have been enforce at the time it was filed. I have contacted them 12 times and 9 times all l get is its being escalated and give it 24 to 48. The other times I was told it can take up to 72 hours. Only to find out on May 2 no one has done anything.

  If I could give a zero to Aflac I would. I paid into this company for services and they still have been sitting on my claim. I have had other companies that I got accidental insurance from and never had I had the rudest customer service and managers that Aflac has. I filed a claim on 4/3/24 (for an injury that occurred on 3/15) and was told that I would hear something no later then 4/12. I called back and they said they refused my claim due to it being expired. This was not true I reached out to my company and they said I had coverage up to 4/1. So my injury claim should of been put through. I called Aflac back with the claim # from Trinet and still no one has worked on my case. I been calling everyday and they just say oh it will be updated in 5-7 days, but they have had more then enough time. They want your money, but when it is time to pay out they always give excuses. Never will I ever buy into this company. If you are smart you wouldn't either. Aflac is a scamming company taking peoples hard earned money.

  There is no question that AFLAC is a scam. I have a cancer Indemnity plan for many years. My wife admitted in the hospital for 2 different sessions, 5 & 6 days respectably. from ER to impatient status. I sent detailed Hospital receipts; Policy clearly states to pay amount for each day stay... They denied claim stating, they classify my wife's inpatient stay as outpatient observation, she even received blood transfusions, policy clearly states to be paid for each infusion. They denied payment. Total scam. Now I have to hire an attorney.

  Aflac is a scam. I got a policy with them through the company i was working for. I tried to file a claim it wont let me. I tried to update my address it wot let me. I tried to change how they get payed and guess what it wont let me. Ive tried calling my agent multiple times over the last couple of months. J cannot get her to answer her phone or give me a call and her email doesnt work. Ive been trying to cancel my policy and cant. The only thing i can do with this company is sit back and watch them take my money.

  It's sad to see that Aflac does not honor what an agent does or say in any way. I work for a company that had submitted about 60 people's application to Aflac Affleck lost maybe five or six people's applications. Aflac will not make any application retroactive as to when the company submitted the applications. Now the agent that sold the policy to me made both face lies and statements as to how the claims would work. She said they would be no wait time of any sort on any claim that I would submit. I had surgery on February 15th for my shoulder putting me out of work for 12 weeks at the minimal. Now Aflac States they will not pay my short-term disability as to my claim was submitted within the 30 days after the original agent said no you can.

  I was looking for supplemental dental insurance since I am close to maxing out my primary coverage. Aflac's waiting period of 24 months for services like implants and crowns (the entire reason for purchasing) makes this coverage useless. I've never heard of a waiting period that long. The max I have ever encountered might be 60-90 day. These fools think customers are going to pay premiums for 2 years before getting any coverage. Absolutely ridiculous! And their coverage is half of most other major providers. Even the tone of the agent made it seem like he couldn't care less about helping customers with getting insurance. Aflac is sad. pathetic joke of a company. Save your sanity and find coverage elsewhere.

  Will be cancelling my policy ASAP. Pay $90/month for accident coverage and got a whopping $840 for my sons accident, in which, he was unable to work for 8 months; that doesn't even begin to cover the ER visit, let alone any other expenses he accrued in that 8 months.

  Today I contacted AFLAC to no avail. The problems have not been rectified, back in July 2023 I had dental surgery. As of today, my dentist has never received any payments from AFLAC even though it show on our account with AFAC that $2,000. has been paid out. They informed me that in November 2023, 3 different checks were sent electronically. These checks were never cashed nor did my dentist ever receive them. I requested a bulk check to be mailed to their office directly. My husband and I have been trying to get our dentist bills paid for the past 8 months. We have spent hours and hours and get the same response. Nothing has been paid. As of today, we have over $3,000. worth of dental bills. We paid for the premium, this is a contract and the insurance company in good faith must pay their part. I feel this is a big Ponzi scam.
