AFLAC has been collecting my monthly payments for dental coverage, but there are no dental offices Ive called or visited that accept AFLAC. Their website is out of date for those accepting their dental policy. I asked for a refund of the three months of the frustrating phone calls to numerous dental offices in my area. I should not have to pay for a policy I cant use and for the due diligence/time I have spent on the phone and going to offices. It should not be this hard!I have asked to speak with a manager and yet to receive a call back.

I filed a Critical Illness Cancer claim on behalf of my wife who's a ********* ******** Nurse. She was diagnosed with Stage 4 Gall Bladder Cancer May 30 2023. After getting all of the documents and Pathology report I filed my claim, a one time claim payment of $20,000 100% of the policy face value.
Spoke with a Representative that told me the delay may be due to a migration issue which may be the delay. Then all of a sudden I log on and see that my Critical Illness and Accidental Death polices had been cancelled. Reached out once again, and was told that my Policies were cancelled in Jan. 2023. Due to an automatic payroll deduction not being paid for the 2nd installment for Jan. 2023. This was due to my being out on a short Medical Leave from work 3wks due to losing my voice and wasn't able to work with restriction. However, automatic payroll deductions resumed in February, March, April and May 2023. During this ordeal I'm getting welcome packets with yet another CERT #. I also submitted payments for the premiums personally. On May 22nd I get a letter stating that my Critical Illness Cancer claim was denied due to my wife's Diagnosis May 30 2023, prior to the new Policy affective date of June 1st! My Critical Illness and Accidental Death policies were never cancelled, Aflac strung us along for weeks to figure out a fraudulent way to deny my claim. They should be ashamed.
My wife's diagnosis was May 30th 2023, claim filed June 2023, policy premiums paid thru May automatically and payments for June submitted, check received and cashed. I dare you generate yet another CERT # with the affective date June 1st 2023 to negate my legitimate claim. In addition to receiving a welcome packet in January 2023 detailing active coverage in January 2023, the same month Aflac claims my policies were cancelled,.
This has already been a devastating time for my wife and I, along with our son with ******. I WILL NOT REST UNTIL AFLAC HONORS THIS VALID CLAIM!
      SHAME!

This company needs to be investigated! I put in for a short term disability claim, provided all the documentation that was requested and I’ve been in review for over a month. I’ve contacted my HR representative who then contacted the Aflac representative for the company that I work for. After weeks of going back and forth, I was put in touch with another representative who then gave me a fake number to use to call headquarters. I was told by the Aflac customer service that the number that was given to me doesn’t exist. I’m done fighting with this company. I just want my money back.

Uneducated Customer service personnels and lack of documentation received. These issues are crucial and needs to be improved immediately. I have sent over 20 emails with my entire medical history and injury notes… not one item has been received through their only email portal. HIPPA violations at the least! Do better, you are an insurance company

Aflac is the biggest JOKE I’ve ever seen! I had a baby 5 weeks ago. They only pay for 6 weeks for a vaginal delivery. As of today my claim is still in review. I’ve called everyday for the past 4 weeks and spoke to different people each time. I’m always told “give us 3-5 days to process the claim” obviously someone can’t count! 5 business days in a week times 5 weeks that’s 25 business days! They say they are help to help you when you need it most, haven’t helped me one single bit.

I was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer in Sept 2021. My co added AFLAC for 2022. I listened to the presentation during open enrollment and was told no preexisting applies. So I’m Jan 2022 I had a critical care policy for cancer. I sent in the appropriate forms in and was denied as my diagnosis was prior to the effective date! So long story short, I was expecting $5000 to pay myself back for my deductible and out of pocket for 6 mo chemo, surgery, radiation-30 rounds. I guess there’s a small clause that says “no diagnosis within 12 months of effective date”. I had a rep tell me “why would we pay out this amount since everyone would do it!” Unbelievable and so rude.
So now I still am covered under critical care for 2023, but can’t get a recurrence and have it covered if it’s not past this Nov (12 mo after my last treatment) That’s so wrong! Why would you even have this coverage with a clause like this?! Such a scam! I was also told by my employer that I would be reimbursed for 2022..well that’s never going to happen! What a joke! I WAS DIAGNOSED WITH A RARE FORM OF AGGRESSIVE CANCER!

paid these guys a premium for years and put in several claims, and eventually dropped them because they didn’t want to pay these claims toward the end of many years.
Something like six or seven years and never missed a single month paying them
