      I have paid into this insurance for years. I have hospitalization and short term disability. I made two claims for emergency room visits years ago, both denied because I was not admitted. I had a cardiac event in February and was admitted. I was paid half what I was quoted. I later had open heart surgery with a four day hospital stay. I made a claim, confirmed with the hospital they sent all requested records three times. I am still "under review". Please do not be a fool like me and pay for this for years only to get nothing. I guess they pay by who you are.

      My husband and I have paid premiums on a cancer policy since 1974 w/many attempts to find out what it covered. Told one time policy was too old couldn't find it, other times sent generic book telling me what all it covers, that I am now told it doesn't cover.
      In May 2022 I had Myxofibrosarcoma removed from my leg w/many 220 mile trips, several MRI's, CT's, XRAY's and biopsy.
      I received a check for $100.00 and informed my policy doesn't cover any of that. I inquired, as I have so many times over the years , what it does cover and if I should stop paying the 246.00. only thing I really got in the way of answer was "We can help you w/that if you want to cancel"

      we have been paying Aflac premiums for more than 20 yrs now thank god never had to make a claim and now that we did all we get is aggravation .they refused to pay claim no matter how we submit what they ask for. Perhaps that is the reason for such poor reviews we read.

      Horrible company point blank. They offer dental insurance and then make you do all the administrative leg work. I called seven, possibly eight times to check on the status of my policy. Five of the customer service reps I spoke to couldn’t even find my claim and had no idea what was going on. Each phone call I waited between 20 to 30 minutes to speak with a representative. Eventually, I spoke with a claims rep that finally informed me that my claim was denied due to the incorrect dental code given by my dentist, and that is was my responsibility to retrieve the correct code. So once again I’m the middle man in a process that should be between the dental provider and AFLAC. My claim still hasn’t been resolved and I’m still sitting on a hefty dental bill. This company is not for the customer in any way shape or form. Horrible experience, fraudulent company that will do anything they can not to pay out. Do yourself a favor and go find a company that honors their business model.

      I pay for short term disability with Aflac. I filed a claim with the company on ****/2023 due to a work place injury and would have liked to receive the compensation that I pay to have just incase. Aflac sent me out and employer form to fill out on ***/2023 then told me I needed to turn in the additional documents but then gave me the run around. They never provided the documents to me after several calls of me requesting forms that they stated that I needed to turn in. They kept mailing me information stating documents were missing and i needed to fill out the enclosed paperwork, however no paperwork was enclosed. I had to get with a final customer service rep on ****/2023 and stay on the phone while they emailed me the documents and I confirmed that I had received them all. I filled out my portion and then called because I needed to wait for the physician to come in to do his portion. When letting Aflac know when the doctor would be in the rep stated that was fine and she would update the account with that information. On that same day the account was closed. Aflac made it a point to deny me the service that I pay for with them. When calling back in on ****/2023 I received information on how to file a complaint when and I asked to speak with a supervisor. The representative Tuesday disconnected the call. I initially assumed it was accidental until I did not receive a call back. I understand the insurance game and how they do not like to pay out to their customers. This is my first ever claim for anything like this and I am very disappointed in the treatment that I have received regarding this. The amount of blank disregard to their clients needs. The insulting of their clients intelligence with them sending out paperwork advising documents were included but were not. As well as emails without the documents included. I’m trying to settle this I called back in and the supervisors couldn’t talk and requested to give me a call back before 5pm and i opted to hold.

      I have the accidental insurance. First time ** ******** ***** *** *** filed a claim and no problem. This time I haven't got paid for the fracture. They resubmitted it and expedited. I have called to check on and now been told not to call because it's been put to the the bottom and will be another 10 days on top of the 2 weeks I have already been waiting. Was told it would only take 24 to 72 hours. It's been almost another month. Also 1 time they said they didn't have all the paperwork and the next they said we'll she didn't have a confirm fracture which isn't the case because the paperwork says she does and she was casted.

      AFLAC is supposed to be there for you when you need what you are paying them for, right? WRONG. I am so irate with their lack of service right now. I spoke to a supervisor today, finally! Mitch was borderline rude and being a ***** *** and just guessing at time frames by saying 3-4 business days and giving me the run around pretty much. I told him that the booklet says to allow 6-7 business days to process requests. He said that's just a goal and not a guarantee. What kind of **** is that! DO NOT BELIEVE WHAT AFLAC SAYS ON THEIR COMMERCIALS! OR WHAT THE SALES PEOPLE SAY. They have to review everything, approve it and decide if they want to pay the your claims apparently on their time and not when you NEED it!

      I have had Aflac for several years. For the first time I filed a claim. I was out of work for nearly two weeks do to difficulty walking and other medical issues. The representative states they need my medical records from 2017? Nothing happened in 2017 this is something that recently happened in May 2023. Which those medical records were faxed. Why do you need 2017? They refused to pay me while I was off. I basically paid them for nothing.

      It's too bad that I can't give negative stars, this is the WORST company!! Several of us have cancelled policies but are continuing to get billed for them. They refuse to do payouts of claims, they refuse to change or cancel policies, their communication is TERRIBLE!! DO NOT SIGN UP FOR AFLAC!! They are liars and cheaters and are purely out for the money, not to help anyone at all!

      Company has been unresponsive for two years while I have tried diligently to transfer my policy after termination to an individual policy. Each time I call I get a different answer and different amounts of money to send. They have no follow up and I wrote a letter directly to the president and no one can find my letter. Do not do business with them they have no internal controls of how to properly handle concerns. Messages and emails are not responded to.
