I was late on a payment because at the time I did not know my payment was returned so it fell to be behind 30 days. I am struggling financially. This company from the Richmond office attempted to call me they said 6 times and it very well could have been 6 times as I work during the day and do not have my phone on. I only got one message that came through my phone and my husband who is on the loan also (whose recent phone number has been changed so if they called him, he would not have gotten it) they called his company and verified employment and told them they were taking steps to garnish his wages. I called the company at the Richmond office and was told that because they contacted me 6 times and the loan was so "large" (less than ****** with their unfair percentage rate tagged into that number), they had no other choice but to call and humiliate my husband over a payment barely over 30 days late. I completely understand that I am obligated to pay this loan and I have made arrangements to catch the payment up. I however, do not pretend to know the law, but they made it clear to me that because I did not answer the 6 calls they made while I was at work they decided to call my husbands work and make this request of employment to start wage garnishment. I would think that there would be additional measures taken such as a law suit filed? This company uses scare tactics and inappropriate means of reaching out to their customers. This is the second time they have done this and I asked them to not call my husbands office again. As most people we are struggling with the economy and higher costs and we do our best to pay our bills. I have never filed bankruptcy nor have never given this company any reason to believe we would not make this payment. I feel that there needs to be something done in regard to reaching out to someone's employment to verify employment (which was done when the loan was taken out in the beginning with the check stubs provided).

Lendmark first and foremost they approve a loan with outstanding interest rates then you end up having to pay triple the amount you borrowed. Before the month is even out they contact you several times back to back even after youve explained you will pay as soon as you are able. I no longer give consent for this company to contact me or my references for any reason. I will make my payment online when its suitable for me. I was impacted by Hurricane ****** lost food damage to my home etc and we are recovering. These people are relentless and predatory. I want to be added to the do not contact list and I do no longer give permission for this company to contact me , my place of employment , or any of my references or I will take further legal action and contact the attorney general.

I've sent another letter to ********** with a few questions: what did they update? What did they modify? Did they really reinvestigate my accounts? If they did, why is the open date different from the other two credit bureaus, why is the date last active different, why are my accounts still inaccurate? I am demanding the accounts listed be deleted due to violations of 15 USC 1681i(5), 15 USC 1681i(7), 15 USC 1681e(b), and 15 USC 1681s-2.Letter Tracking Number: 9589 0710 5270 0428 5604 11 Account Name: **********************.
