Today I noticed that Lendmark Financial took 2 payments out my account. I have my car loan thru them. On 11/6 $273.03 was taken via checking account and today 11/7 $270.83 was taken via debit card. I spoke with **** who was very rude and claimed she was the branch manager but later to find out that was false. She told me all I would have to do was send proof to get the debit charge refunded immediately. I asked why I needed to send proof when they can see the double charge. **** then said that is their company policy I asked her for proof of that policy in writing she refused to email it to me or provide me written proof that it was their company policy. So when I stated I can bring the proof to your office today her story changed again and stated she wouldnt be able to do it at all and then she finally stated to me she doesnt have to do anythingBusiness Response

I recently ran into some medical bill and car repairs. I was searching for emergency financial assistance. Loan servicers and I got a call from lendmark and they made me feel like they were helping me with getting back on my feet. I understand that are in for the money. But they are charging me a interest rate that I didn't understand and looking at the paperwork. I will forever be in debt. Because I have to pay back more than double the amount borrow. I feel like they used my Military Services and emotional issues against me. It was a fast process over the phone and I got approved and then rushed in by the company to sign. I was in a bad progress and now it's worst long-term paying back more than double the amount. Just moved to ******* and didn't realize that they were charging me more than double. Need help catching up my life and not suffering from my unexpected medical emergency financial issue and car repairs. Can we work somethings out for the interest rate. It's insane? I understand that I was under distress but this is hard to watch. Thanks for listeningBusiness Response
