      I moved into PadSplit with my son was double charge for my son which was 299 which was fine no problem with that me and my son tried to move in could not get inside the door and then after calling so many times finally able to get in when I came to the room I was supposed to be and a man was and my room so I was put and a room that I did not pay for then as me entering the room it had spiders everywhere no light no a/c it was hot me and my son was forced to go to my mom house for 2 days then we came back as we was told we was moved to another room the night. Before came and woke up to a bed full of ants crawling all over my skin everywhere it was infested so I reach out for a refund and was Denied !!

      I booked my room for May 5th, 2025. I never moved in due to the fact that when I went to view the room the house was dirty, the front door was unlocked and open. The room I paid for was unlocked with a key in it, the carpet was extremely dirty and there was no actual bed, there were no amenities, the home looked like a drug location on the inside, when I requested a room change it was denied by the new host due to not completing a call while I was at work. My account was then -$120. I called and asked why my account kept adding up and they said due to me not cancelling until the 9th, even though I requested a cancellation for the 7th of May. Padsplit catfished me and showed me out of date rooms and amenities, they withheld the rating of the home until I paid in full (the rating was 2.3 ) . The host was rude about my reasoning to move out and didn't try to accommodate anything or clean. It's nasty and predatory towards those who are struggling.

      To Whom It May Concern,I am submitting this formal complaint against PadSplit and property owner ****** ***** (*******************************) regarding my experience at *****************************************. My time there has been marked by persistent safety issues, unresolved maintenance, retaliation, and a lack of support from PadSplit, creating an unsafe, unlivable environment.1. Unresolved Maintenance Issues Despite multiple requests through PadSplits system, urgent repairs in my room were ignored:A hole in the drywall A broken light circuit leaving the room without lighting A missing smoke detector; the unit has no working smoke alarms, posing serious fire risks 2. Unsafe, Unsanitary Conditions The homes condition worsened throughout my stay. I reported safety concerns including poor ventilation, unreliable locks, and general disrepairall of which caused physical discomfort and stresswith no meaningful response.3. Retaliation and Harassment After raising issues, I faced escalating hostility from housemates, including false accusations (e.g., leaving doors unlocked, my service animals behavior). One resident stalked me and admitted it in group chat. I have evidence of her safety violations and believe she should be removed. She continued to bully me in the chat saying how I have negative energy and I barely said a word to her during my stay.4. Bias and Disrespect from PadSplit While housemates' complaints got immediate attention, minestarting day onewere dismissed. I was not referred to by name, only as the lady with the dog, reflecting clear bias. I have documentation of these interactions, including discriminatory and retaliatory treatment I respectfully request:A formal investigation into the property and its management My padsplit account ********** additional charges for unsafe living.       The establishment Padsplit was not lease to the agreed to policy terms, and the advertised rules of policy lease or and commitment to rent housing according to the terms the agreement agreed to. Explained or disclosed were some sort of rip off or an illicit property scam. The company deliberately or intentionally threatened the tenant with legal ramificiations out of nowhere, open threats to lease as a certain condition not according to the agreed to contract. Use the tenants as a hazardous experiment. One of the times there terms the eligibility or to be eligible to apply were by causing damages to there next housing after renting housing, make the guests uncleanly, or unhealthy or and uncomfortable or by using threatening situations. Roommate differences, Roommate room disputes, threatening customer service, inappropriate messaging, neighbor to neighbor threats, criminal threats, improper ************* excessive unnecessary tasks. Bias rules of tenancy policy were also used to harass and retaliate at one another having good cause reputation, argue with the members wages or membership record. One time Padsplit was harm the client by taking advantage of member's not related holding security policy. Specific egregious or greedy Indemnity reputation of policy and money, harassing interactions or by threats

      This has been the worst experience that I have ever had dealing with a place to live. My current PadSplit host is creepy! They have cameras all over the house, and I was told that I could not do my hair in the room. All of the clean supplies, vacuum cleaner, brooms, etc. are locked up so that we cannot use them so how are we supposed to clean the room. After being told that I could not do my hair in my room, I decided to take advantage of the free transfer, once I chose the room and initiated the transfer. The new host messaged me at 2:57 AM asking me what day I wanted to move in even though it clearly states in the app what day youre transferring. Then new host ghost me the rest of the day all while padsplit holds onto your money and makes you pay on the day of transfer even though you just paid your dues for the current room if you cancel the transfer, they charge you $25 even when its not your fault and its due to the future host not accepting or declining the transfer so youre basically in limbo until the future host says its approved or declined leaving you not able to transfer to a different room. Its basically false advertisement because they state the host has 24 hours to accept the booking but in our reality they give the host 48 hours and charge you $25 to cancel I will be moving out of this PadSplit ASAP as this has been the worst experience I have ever went through a customer service is a joke. booking if the host does not accept your transfer

      I attempted to rent a room on April 24th, 2025. I successfully booked the room the same day, and in the receipt it states Full refund within 48 hours of booking request, which I have emails with timestamps stating that I fell within that time frame. Then they sent me the cancellation policy after I cancelled and state I owe them 100 dollars and they took 80. I said I had 48 hours from booking request as per receipt. Then they send me the cancellation policy and states nothing about 48 hour window like it does on the receipt. This I feel is a predatory way for the this company to squeeze money out of ********** Individuals.

      I was denied because I didnt make enough income and then asked to hand over about $3,000 in pre payments if I dont make enough then I dont make enough now they are holding my account hostage and will not return my application fee when specifically they say they will return fee if not approved I called they help line according to them it seams like they are keeping my account hostage and waiting for me to make more money and upload documents how that makes any sense no idea this is fraud and classic switch and bait internet fraud schemes

      complaint Against PadSplit for Substandard Living Conditions To Whom It May Concern,I am filing this complaint against PadSplit due to the unacceptable and substandard living conditions at the property I am currently residing in. Despite paying for housing with the expectation of safe and habitable conditions, I have encountered the following issues:The front door keypad does not work, which has resulted in me being locked outside for 30 minutes on two separate occasions.The refrigerator leaks, creating a constant mess and potential safety hazard.There are holes in the walls of my living space.The house is infested with bugs, which is both unsanitary and distressing.These issues are not only a violation of basic living standards but also pose safety and health risks. I have made every effort to tolerate these conditions as well as notify the host, but the lack of resolution has forced me to escalate the matter.I am requesting PadSplit to address and resolve these issues immediately. If no action is taken promptly, I will have no choice but to contact the ************************* and pursue legal action for breach of contract and negligence.I trust that PadSplit will take this matter seriously and resolve these issues without further delay.

      In a year of 2021 I found myself have to do room for it due to the economy of losing employment in the pandemic. I came acrossa video on ******* pertaining to pad split moved in October 11, 2021 and a fairly new remodel built home in **********************. It was strange. I had moved to a Pacific room where it was changed today I was moved in and could not be changed back because someoneelse was living in there days go along. I worked overnight and sometimes during the day six members moved in a day, I came home from overnight job. The same six members. ******* Genius who hit an attacked me, ******* *****, ****** ******, ***** ********** and ****** ****** violently gang jumped me every day after I came home from work very early hours in the morning. One of these incidents was caught on camera and I proceeded to give the company the video to show them. They did nothing about it. They allowed the members to repeatedly still attack me day and night randomly someone that knew about passport accounts for new members and told me to select Transfer to another home. In which this was granted, I still had to pay the first week no deposit.Forward two years ahead, where I moved to another home where I stayed approximately two years and a half where members started attacking me harassing me stalking me had a group chat on recruiting members to attack me went through a lawsuit won the lawsuit to countersuit against Padsplit and the landlord Days after my granting of the lawsuit long story short, Padsplit and the landlord and the roommates work together to have me wrongfully incarcerated. The *** a day before my lawsuit while in jail wrongfully to derail me getting the funds from suing the landlord and Padsplit. Which I lost multiple items valuable items Ive had over 20 years miscarried three babies in jail and also still fighting wrongful charges stole my wholeidentity. Use $4K worth of funds off my bank account and refused to reopen the case so I can receive my lawsuit.

      I was referred to PadSplit by my stepmother and I have been here since March 2024. I had a few issues before I fell behind on my payments. Once that happened they kept charging me a late fee to my previous balance to where it is impossible to pay it off. Instead of having one late fee for that one week I was late they keep charging a new fee each week. They claim the system does this and they cant change it. Since then I have been charged over $300 in late fees and at the same time I could have been caught up by now but they are just greedy. Its funny because living in this type of home seems borderline illegal unless it is a group home. They could care less about accommodating women because I asked them if they have unisex homes but they claim that would be discrimination. At any point the city can shut these places down if they are not being kept up. Just this week I had to tell the other building next to us to bring their trash out, and with all these men it should have never been an issue. They seem to allow anyone in even with a background check and also they allow other members to rate you based off opinion. I was accused of not doing chores by a new person because he doesnt see me checking off the app, yet he doesnt do anything himself and checks off very few chores. They dont help you catch up and barely give extensions. As I am waiting on my direct deposit to hit at 11 pm Friday 3-14-25, The host ended up calling me from a private number three times and messaged me to answer her. She then lied and said I had two dogs and guest over to try to kick me out. This was because I asked for an extension the Friday before and PadSplit only gave me until midnight 3-14-25 to pay $400 when I only offered $200 unless I had to money to stay longer. My dad helped me with the other $200. At this point this service seems like a scam and they make hosts and renters look bad.
