      The downstairs bathroom of the house has mold exposed and it hasn't been fixed since 3/25/2025. I made a maintenance request and I was told that the host would send a technician out to fix the issue and that still hasn't happened as of today. The host listed the ticket as completed and the mold issue is definitely not fixed at all. She has myself and others here in this house under unsafe conditions which is unacceptable.

      I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the ongoing issues at my PadSplit home. Despite being a consistently paying tenant, I am experiencing significant disturbances that PadSplit has failed to address, despite repeated reports.Specifically, we have an unauthorized individual residing in the home who is causing multiple violations of PadSplit's policies:* This person is not authorized to live here * This person smokes inside the house.* This person is rude, loud, and disruptive.* This person steals food from other residents.* This person occupies the laundry room for personal use.I have reported these issues multiple times, but PadSplit has taken no action. The police have also been called, but they cannot intervene without PadSplit's authorization, as it is considered a civil matter.I am paying to live in a safe and habitable environment, and the presence of this unauthorized individual, along with their behavior, is unacceptable. I should not have to move out of my home, especially when I am comfortable there and it meets my needs for work and convenience. Transferring to another home is not always a feasible option, as it requires time and money that not everyone has.Since PadSplit has refused to resolve this matter and uphold its own policies, my next step will be to seek legal counsel.

      At first when i contacted the host of padsplit which is **** before i told him a padsplit member was allowing someone to stay there that's not on the lease the padsplit member and the boy she has staying there is not on the lease and they both are practicing heidious acts towards my 3 year child. **** tells me my Spouse not my child doesn't supposed to be there. He said he confirmed that we can all be there, now I'm bringing this to his attention and now he wants to lie about what was confirmed. I also called padsplit directly and they said and confirmed that my spouse and daughter could be there. My spouse also has an approved account of his own which is mandatory and this makes an multiple occupancy house i want all fees waived so i can move out with no balance following.

      I was affected by Hurricane ****** Oct '24. I had requested that Padsplit arrange a transfer to a livable room on another property. A customer service representative assured me that once I provide a listing of places that I'm looking into, they would contact them to inquire if they had power, water, and confirm there was no structural damage. I was also given a code that would remove the move in fee. I emailed this list to Padsplit. They never emailed me back at all. AT ALL! I lived in an absolutely unlivable home after returning from a shelter. My location was without drinkable water or electricity for well over a week. I get it, most of the my areas had to face the same issues. My problem is this. Pad split was NEGLIGENT in making promises they had no intention of keeping. I faced complications with diabetes due to their negligence. I had developed heat exhaustion and the beginning signs of heat stroke. How hard is it to reach out to your customers and update them. There's absolutely no excuse for this. NONE!I reached out to pad split customer service on multiple occasions afterward for updates/an explanation and to get some credit on my bill and was told repeatedly that they would reach back out to me; they never did. Padsplit only cares about your money under the rather flimsy facade of "affordable housing" and "communal living". Your residents should be at the heart of your business, and if you can't even do that...

      I signed a weekly rate of ****** for 6 weeks then210 weekly after, but they are charging me 237 weekly with 15 percent off. I have showed them the addendum I signed, I even showed them the mistake under finances of the wrong amount.

      I've filed multiple complaints about a MAJOR safety hazard. My roommate is holding an AK47, w shotguns, multiple handguns & an UNECESSARY amount of ammunition (well over ***** rounds).It's SUPPOSED to be against the rules, but Padsplit doesn't ******* fact, they're response to my concern? They told me to move out!!!! Their "customer service" is trash, they continue to say "we care about your safety" but when you have a safety concern, they prove how little they actually care. I just want it to be known by everyone who looks into Padsplit - do so at your own risk. If your roommate is mentally unhinged & a threat to your life, Padsplit won't do anything except tell YOU to move out.

      So I rent a room by the week for $207 a week through an app called Pad Split. About 2 1/2 weeks ago that air conditioner in this house broke. I immediately submitted a maintenance ticket to have it fixed. The ticket was dismissed and marked as completed, yet no one came out to service the *** I notified Pad Split and all they could tell me was that they are working on it and be patient.. It was 92 inside my room all day, and the host is now saying that it will be fixed sometime next week. This is unacceptable. The way that I see it and the way that my roommate see it is, if we are paying for a room with AC, then we should have a room with AC or we should receive a monetary compensation, or partial refund for service is not rendered. What makes it so frustrating is that Pad Split has been completely unhelpful, just as they always are when any kind of issue arises. I have been afraid to report this to the BBB out of fear of retaliation by the host, i.e. being kicked out or given a hard time. Also, there is someone that lives in the garage here that is not a registered tenant, someone who claims to be co-host, and I do not want to be harassed by him for reporting this either. Because of that reason I would like my name to remain anonymous please. There are seven rooms and seven residents so they do not have to know which one of us it was that reported this please. Pad Split did offer me a chance to relocate to a different house if I was interested, but moving houses cost a lot of money that I do not have. Plus, I am close to my place of employment and I am established here and I should not be forced to move just because they are not meeting the basic living standards. The attached image is a photo of the temperature thermometer that I have in my room for proof. The amount listed below is my per week rent amount, plus a $14 membership fee monthly.

      On January 5, 2025 I moved into a rooming house located at ***********************************. The house is managed by an organization called PadSplit. The room was not ready for occupancy on January 5, 2025. Old shoes and clothing and garbage were in the room. A ceiling plank was on the floor. Leaves and dust were underneath the bed. A dirty mattress cover was on the bed. The floor was dirty. I took photos and sent them to the host. The response I got was "I'm sorry, Clover."Since January 5th, the situation has worsened. The air conditioning was on X2 in February. I submitted a maintenance issue. I Since March 1, 2025 there has been very little heat in the room. I have sneezing fits day and night. My nose is congested as a result of the inconstant temperature in the room. The temp was 32 degrees Thursday morning, March 6th. My room felt like a freezer locker. I put on layers of clothing when I go to bed at night and two pairs of socks. I submitted a maintenance issue to the host over a week ago concerning the lack of heat. The heat comes on sporadically for brief periods of time. When I returned from shopping yesterday afternoon, the house felt like a boiler room: too much heat. The heat was off at 5 PM and during last night. No heat this morning at 6:32 AM. Only cool air came out the vent. I am seventy-six years old and the rent is paid up to date. My issues either are ignored or partially resolved by the Host and PadSplit. The room was advertised as a No Move-in Fee rental. PadSplit charged me a $127 move-in fee. I messaged them about the move-in fee and PadSplit did not respond to my concern. Three weeks passed before the old blind was replaced with a new one. The worker did not install the blind properly; it fell to the floor soon after he finished the work and left. There is no exhaust vent above the stove in kitchen. Cooking odors enter the heating system and come out the vent in the room. The weekly rent is $150.00.

      Two Keys Property Management who manages homes for Padsplit will not keep the heat and appliances working. There are also roaches and other critters that have been reported. Our heater was broken 2 weeks in December, 3 weeks in January and 2 weeks in February. The heat went out again for the 4th time on Mon, March 3rd. The temperature inside the house was down to 40 degrees during two snow storms. The washer and dryer have been inoperable since January 5th even though several maintenance request have been submitted. I've asked numerous times for a rent adjustment, but all of my request go unacknowledged

      I am rejecting this response because: Padsplit does not value me as a customer. The maintenance and bug issues have not been resolved. The heater is currently not working and I just killed 4 bugs in my room today. The washer and dryer have been out of service since January 5th. I pay for heat, a clean environment free of bugs and a washer and dryer. I have been denied the amenities that I pay for monthly and should be reimbursed for living over 40 days n a freezing cold home that I pay rent. I have submitted at least 50 maintenance request that are withdrawn and ignored. 4 housemates have moved in and out within the day. I have contacted ******************** and awaiting their report. I will proceed with reimbursement even by filing a claim in court. There is a group on ******** where many members are voicing issues with Two Keys Property Management and Padsplit

      Padsplit is a terrible place to live I would not definitely recommend. Where I'm living currently the host did not pay the electricity bill **** the host. I *** all my paid fees refunded please. I have my daughter who lives with me as well this is considerably child neglect on padsplits behalf. **** the host also had realtors to come look at the padsplit with members occupied at the address. All I'm asking is my refund back that I paid in.
