I already expressed my intents to quit WFG membership through emails to WFG. However, I received no response from WFG. I would like to refund my membership because I already quited the membership. I did research on the company and would not like the be a part of it. I would like my $125, initial fee to associate, to be refunded immediately.Business Response

I received an email from World Financial Group that they would refund me in ***** business day. If not, I will let BBB know.
Also, I am requesting World Financial Group to erase all my information (including my SSN, address, phone number, email, etc) from their database because my connection with WFG has already been terminated.

11/18/2022 Was pressured into $125 background check to which I didnt authorize and I have reached out to the merchant and have not gotten a response. I also did not receive any copies of any docu sign. *** tried to go through the merchant and now they have gone ghost. I didnt receive a background check. This is a scam. In November 2022 I began the onboarding process. I was told I had to pay $125 for a background check and another $100 for miscellaneous fees. Upon further research, I no longer wish to be involved with the company. I asked for my money back before my card was charged, but the business would not give me an answer. They only sent me long texts trying to get me to stay with the onboarding process. I would like a full refund. I also want all of my personally identifiable information (name, social security number, address, phone number, birth date, credit card information and email removed from WFG's systems.Business Response

I didnt realize my $125 payment for a background check was non refundable. I was not told this. I did research on the company and would not like the be a part of it. I would like my $125 to be refunded immediately.Business Response

Not satisfied with being harassed to continue in the company after I told them once I did not wish to continue to work in their company. Was told to at least finish my license but I told them I did not wish to and that I would like to get a full refund for the $35 dollar course, $88 for the examination and $125 for the application that I did not personally sign. Thank you for contacting WFGIA. Insurance exam is a requirement by the state of insurance department to become an insurance agent. The cost of insurance exam and other associated licensing fees are paid to the state of insurance of department. The studying materials for the exam is paid to third-party institution vendors. Therefore, WFG is not able to issue refund on purchases that was paid to other parties.
Also, to clarify that electronic signature serves the same authorization purpose as the in-person wet signature. We have Associate Agreement with your electronic signature facilitated by DocuSign from your email address on file. The ** address can confirm you indeed provided the electronic signature on the agreement.

January 2021 I paid for a trust with ************* through WFG. I initially paid $99 for a basic plan. I upgraded to a living trust that same month and paid an additional $499. I completed the initial steps. I have had a hard time getting access to my documents since WFG/************* switched the format in early 2021. My agent has been trying to contact them since February 2021. And I also have been unable to access my documents. There is no one that has responded. I have called but the answering machine says they only respond to email. I have emailed and there is no response. They have a chat option but it is not working. This has been going on for over 1 1/2 years. My husband is now very sick and it is imperative that I have my documents uploaded to my trust. However, no one is available to give me access. Im afraid that the lack of access will put my family at risk. ************* / WFG was quick to take my money and non-existent when it comes to provide service.I do not want to risk my estate because ************* and WFG set up a service that does not have any support. I am 76 years old and my husband is 84 years old. I am frustrated that there is no one to help us and feel abandoned by this situation.I want someone to contact me so I can gain access to my document. Or I want a full refund back so I can start getting my documents in order ASAP.Business Response

This complaint is about customer having issues with services provided by *************. To clarify, ************* is NOT an affiliated company with WFG.
************* is a third-party vendor WFG partnered with as an optional tool WFG agents could elect to use with special rate. However, the partnership contract was terminated since February 2021. Ever since the contract was terminated, all ************* customers have to access to the platform through the ************* website directly.
Therefore, WFG does not have the capability to provide any support regarding to the ************* platform nor issuing refund that was paid to *************. This is not a complaint related to WFG.

In September 2022 when I began the onboarding process, I then realized the position was actually with World Financial Group as an Associate which was not mentioned to me before it was time to sign documents. I was told I had to pay $125 for a background check and another $32.35 for study materials to get licensed. Upon further research, I no longer wish to be involved with the company and would like a full refund. On Oct 4, 2022 I was forced and harassed into paying a membership fee of $125 for WFG. I have told the agent 3 times I'm not interested but she kept asking why not, why not and wouldn't let me leave. I ended up paying and she started to back off. I immediately called the bank on their working day to dispute but cannot. I have texted her I am not going to do this with her and she have said ****, probably because she already received the money. I don't have $125 to waste like this, please help me get it back.Business Response

I was coached to join this company being promised a substantial amount of money each month, I was tricked into paying over a hundred dollars for my agent code apron further investigation of the company and finding out its basically a scam company I had reached out to my trainer and asked for all of my info to be deleted from their system because they kept my card on file and can charge it at any time. I had to put my card on file as it was mandatory to start the training I was charged the $125 for my agent code and $35 for my license and my signature was not signed by me or from any of my devices. Check the ** address. After asking to have nothing further to do with this scam company and for a full refund I have been constantly ignored. I wish to have a full refund of all of my money and I wish for my information and cards on file to be deleted. I dont want to have to take this to court but I absolutely will. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that the signature of my name that was fradulantly signed by someone other than myself is being used against me in attempt to not give me a full refund. Again check the ** address on where the signature was signed, you will find that it was not from any of my devices but from sindis device and I was never even sent the documents. This is fraudulent! I am very unsatisfied with the outcome of this. I wish for a full refund as well as for my information to be completely taken out of their system as they have my card on file and can charge it at any time withought my permission or withought having to get more card details and re inputting it. This is fraud! This company is a scam! I will take this to court if I have to. They have caused so many issues not just financially but also with my family and friends by pushing everybody trying to make them think they are legit. This is illegal idk how they are getting away with it.

On September 28th, I was contacted by a recruiter for a position as a financial advisor. During the zoom interview I was asked to be a part of the company, I felt like I was rushed and lured into joining as well as paying for a $125 background check which I didnt really want to do but felt like I was rushed into it. Aside from that initial payment I was being asked to then pay $35 to obtain my life insurance study materials. In addition, I was also asked for a lot of personal information including my ssn. The recruiter then signed a series of consent forms on my behalf without me being able to read any of the terms and agreements. The following day I spoke with a close friend and vented about this new job I deeply regretted and felt pressured into, to my surprise this friend of mine had also gone through the same thing! He even tried working for them for a couple months and explained to me that this was an mlm which is something that was not disclosed with me during the interview! He told me to run because this company is basically a scam! I have asked the recruiter to terminate my account and remove all personal information from the website but I never received any type of confirmation and Im still getting emails from wfg. I want nothing to do with this company and I would also like a refund back for the background checkBusiness Response
