  This was the worst experience I have ever had getting eye wear. Do not waste your time! I was given monthly wear contacts after specifically telling the Dr. I wear daily wear due to multiple infections I got from wearing monthly wear. Her response was "hopefully that won't happen this time!" Then the prescription she wrote was for monthly wear! It is making me choose a star rating but if I could I wouldn't give them even 1 star.

  Nati at the *************************** location in ************ fixed my broken glasses within 10 minutes of my arrival. Excellent manager and customer service

  Preys on the elderly. My father and mother (witnessed the conversation) went in holding a coupon, also on their website, about 2 pr glasses for ***** free eye exam. he ended up getting charged ****** and received 1 left and 1 right lense. no glasses. they charged ***** for eye exam and added anti reflective coating for each lense, which he did not request. they then lied to me, when i called, saying he requested to use his old glasses instead of getting 2 new pairs for ***** Yeah, sure, i would rather pay ****** for 1 right lense 1 left lense versus 80 for two new pairs....said NO ONE EVER! my father went there the morning i called and they still gave him the run around. when i called they changed their tune. saying they would refund the ****** and give him the deal which he originally asked for. my father is going back for the refund and i will be updating the information. If i need to file a complaint to have the BBB intervene ... I WILL!!

  Went in for my annual exam. It was to the point that I was squinting to see as is. The fact that the doctor was on a screen bugged me out. They didn't check either eye to see if one way was better vs the latter. This seemed quite odd to me. After all said and done, got my glasses...I couldn't see any better than before. When I went back to reconcile, they said I'd have to book another appointment. I'll stick with the good old in-person eye doctors! The whole doctor on a screen just isn't doing it for me! They don't do the tests that an in-person doc does - and they didn't dilate my eyes (I thought all eye doctors did this!). After taking my old prescription and this "new one" from ********* to a physical doctor - they told me they didn't even change my prescription! Turns out I paid all this money for NOTHING!

  I went to Americas Best in October for an eye exam & glasses there was an appointment available so I had my eyes examined by a young woman whose name was ************************* she seemed to be in some sort of hurry for some reason I got the impression she wasn't all that interested in my eyes I chose a frame once the examination was done and the glasses came in about two weeks when I went in to pick them up I had no trouble reading the chart placed in front of me close up however on coming home I tried using my computer with the new glasses everything seemed a little off kilter however I continued to use the glasses in fact I had another frame of my own that I decided to get the same prescription for hoping for better results however it became so difficult to use the glasses I was advised by my insurance company to get another examination which I did & it TURNS OUT THE NEW PRESCRIPTION IS TOTALLY DIFFERENT & CAN SEE EVERYTHING PERFECTLY I HAVE PAID OVER $500 FOR GLASSES AT AMERICAS BEST I WILL NEVER GO BACK the prescription was not worth the paper it was written on.!!!!

  Ordered my pair of glasses recently. Not to mention that it took almost a month for them to arrive at their store but when I went to pick it up, it t looked like the gentleman was only putting it together, or whatever he was going. I couldnt see because his back was turned to me the whole time. I brought it home, tried it on, and was immediately disappointed. The lenses seemed to be positioned incorrectly that everything was a blur. I would not recommend Americas Best for your vision needs. Visionworks seems to have their things in order over Americas Best. My family and I will no longer go there for our eye care needs.

  Constantly disappointed..from the contacts to the frames. Waiting a whole month for a pair of glasses is outrageous. The contacts are never the right size and extremely uncomfortable. They shift constantly, rip easily and I still cannot see with them. The customer service at the location I go to frequently is 50/50. You never know what you will get. They act nice in person but on the phone , not so much. Save yourself the headache !

  We have been going to them for years now my son did his class to put contacts in when we first came over there and they never said anything about it until today after we had already seen the doctor they decided because he couldnt do it in 30 seconds they said he was a new contact wearer blue been wearing them for year now but because they freaked him out telling him if he couldnt do it that to why would not sell ** the contacts with that being said we are never going back over there we simply went to where their doctor went work and we going to see ********************* at family vision

  Was charged my normal $35 copay for contact exam and decided against buying contacts there as they are cheaper elsewhere. They said I had to pay an additional $35 for the fitting before they would hand over the prescription. Exam does not equal your prescription at this store
