Wow, lots of complaints about this company for same reasons. We are tired of getting your typical garbage you send us. You are creating mailers now that are deceptive from the beginning. All complaints above are accurate. Your suggestion to stop getting this mail is for us to find a website and then try to go thru process you setup to get you to stop sending us this trash. Your goals are to get folks to call you not understanding what your motivations are and try to sell them on a product. Why should we have to go thru the steps to opt out. This takes time and time is very precious and we shouldnt be obligated to spend our time removing ourselves from a list that you setup. You created this and by law you have to offer an opt out but u dont have to make it easy. You should be required to remove us. At least the employees that do the work will be paid for it. I much rather send a BBB and add to the growing list of people that are tired of receiving this garbage and to be tricked into thinking its a government entity or something important. This is a terrible way to market Americans. We need to strengthen the laws and require companies like you to just stop being deceptive and instead of requiring us to do the work of removing ourselves from something we didnt know or want to be involved in. My fianc received this letter. Im not giving her name because you wont remove her anyway so why should I.

I contacted XFINITY about not going into my bank account to take money out and they did it twice on the same account. They overcharged me as well. The account is being paid by ACP. Also, I spoke to the staff twice to tell them as well and I change it in my account online and they still did it any way without my consent.

    Dear **************,

We have received your concerns via the Better Business Bureau.  Thank you for expressing them.

Distribution Processing Center provides mail services on behalf of commercial entities that market legitimate products and services to the general public.  We mail for many insurance companies and agents.

We do have an Opt-Out Site (www.dpcoptout.com) that can be used instead of filing a BBB complaint.  Our opt-out site was built to try to help consumers.  We are not required to do this, but we built the site so that consumers could easily opt out of all mailings we do on behalf of our clients.  We even go as far as providing the consumer information to opt out nationally.  The sole purpose of this site is maintaining a complete and comprehensive Do Not Mail List.

Many mailers look the same so it is important to note that opting out with us will only prevent our clients mailings from being mailed to you.  It will not prevent you from receiving similar-looking mailings from the hundreds of other companies mailing such offers.

It is not our desire to send mail to anyone who wishes not to receive it so first and foremost let me apologize for any concerns our mailings have caused you.

We have opted you out of our future mailings.  If you wish to opt out of similar mailings, it is best to use a national DNM Registry such as DMAChoice (DMAChoice.org)

I hope that we have addressed your concerns.

This company sent my mail that was designed to look and even read as a government related and required document. It mimics the size and shape and layout of certain tax documents such as a w-4 or other statement. They do not give a company name, nor any information that this is some kind of authorization for them to give your contact information to others for commercial profit. This is an attempt at fraud in my opinion, as the release of personal information to government as a requirement is a LOT different than the release of information for commercial purpose.

This business is sending out deceitful forms that look like genuine government documents specifically IRS-type forms for soliciations for life insurance. The forms, and the name of the company, are very carefully crafted to look official, including bar coding and pre-printed business reply ************** when one searches for the "small print" literally about 4pt type does one see the line "Not affiliated with or endorsed by any government agency."

3 times I have received letters from this company stating second notice about funeral things... I have called and requested that I be removed from their mailings trying to pressure me into filling out the forms. I only want to be completely removed from their mailing list and not receive any more mailings from them. I'm nor looking for monetary compensation unless they keep mailing the junk mail to me.

I have received multiple envelopes from DPC indicating that my father AND my mother may be eligible for state benefits to cover funeral expenses. The envelopes both stated second notice which implies that the letters are important and being ignored. My father passed away in 2015 and my mother passed away less than a year ago. I find this correspondence insensitive and hurtful. Please stop.

This company is sending vague, misleading unsolicited mail via the ***** and judging by the other reviews/complaints on the BBB website, they are extremely active during the fall months of 2023. In responses by the company, they are telling complainants to register with DMAChoice or other **************** opt out companies to avoid receiving these unsolicited mailings, however, I have been a paid member of DMAChoice for almost a year. They are violating my request and not honoring people's explicit desire to NOT receive junk or unsolicited shady sales offers like this one. They are lying to people by telling them to use the DMAChoice and other direct marketing opt out programs - they clearly do not honor these programs or requests. Companies should be forced to comply or fined if they violate people's request to not be inundated with junk mail and shady business offers.
