HORRIBLE COMPANY AND HORRIBLE WORK...if you want a quality floor and it put down correctly..please use someone else. After multiple calls and getting the runaround, I have finally decided to post a review. The flooring we ordered from sample was supposed to be smooth and it is rough as heck, they were to put a barrier down (I had to argue with person putting it down that he was doing it wrong). they can't even put the transition strips down correctly or have the decency to arrive when they say they will to fix it. I have called all day to find out when the person would be here. Now they say that they will not be here today and I need to take off tomorrow. this is totally unacceptable.50 Floor

High Pressure Tactics With Fraudulant *************** Hour Harassing Phone Call.Had a Rep. who was quoting my ex 1 mile away drop by to give me a quote for 900 sf of laminate flooring. Basically the same job as my ex with slightly different style laminate.I had not shopped this job yet and told ***************** I would like to compare pricing. He came down from 10k to 7.8k for job. I said 6.5k would be better. He got approval from superior but said I had to sign then and there to get this price, so I did knowing the law allows me to cancel if warrented.After shopping I found I could get real wood for job at $5,200.00 So I called and cancelled job. (State law allows 3 days to cancel any contract) I was transfered to a very nice man named **** who got me a similar product for $5,600.00 installed. I said thanks and would call ***. if I changed my mind.I recieved a phone call at 6:30 that night from ***************** berating me for having wasted his time and that I was done ,finished that the quote was gone and I would never get my flooring from him. The man was flat out yelling at me. I retorted with a loud colorful metaphor of my own and he hung up.The point is he lied about his "Best price" to me and a single mother. Then threw a tantrum when he lost the sales. When you quote a job you are planting a seed to see if it sprouts. Because of ***************** I flat out cancelled when I was going to accept ****'s offer. My Ex also cancelled so 50 Floors lost 2 jobs because of ***************** and his, in my opponion, unethical business practices. It would be unfair to assume ***************** is a representation of the whole company so people like **** and I'm sure others represent the company with ethical business practices Myself and my son's mother will take our business elsewhere.50 Floor

Do not use this company. They advertise that new baseboard will be used for flooring installation but only use quarter round trim. That is not stated in their pre-installment list. Calls to customer service were dismissive as if I were this issue and not the terrible job they left with the quarter round trim as the baseboard! Also, their in-house communication is faulty at best. They had set up the zero percent 12 month finance deal which was approved for me but the installer insisted on full payment at the end of the day as his instructions showed. I fortunately could pay the bill but when I called customer service, they blamed the salesperson and offered no recourse so be cautious in this area of 50Floor offerings as well. The customer service is tired of complaints and stated this to me! So, a ****** learned is a ****** shared, do not use this company. I now have to pop off the quarter round trim (not really baseboard is it) and complete the job myself. I've sent photos to two different emails at the company and as of today, no response. I paid over $5,000.00 for my flooring in Jan. 2022 and still do not have my flooring *********** room put in wrong and has found several areas where the flooring is torn or scuffed that was under the furniture put back in by their crew and now the flooring trim is also lifting. You can put your whole arm under the flooring in my hallway. I have had multiple (over 10) appointments for them to come out and repair and replace some of the items and it continues to be rescheduled for lack of workers. I should have gone to someone else because I am continuing to be upset about this situation. Would I refer 50Floor...not on your life. I will be seeking legal action as my next step!50 Floor

I had a waterproof laminate installed in my kitchen and dining area and from sales through the installer I was impressed with the process and professionalism of 50 Floor. The Problem I experienced was my floor, being installed 3 years ago has started warping and has split or had a corner peel up which I called to have checked. I was told their installation only has a one year warranty, which I dont dispute, but I believe this to be a product defect issue which is covered by the manufacturer. I submitted pictures as requested and after 2 weeks I was contacted by 50 floor and told the manufacturer wanted to know if I had any flooring leftover, which I have 5 boards stored. I expected a callback after discussing this with the 50 floor rep but a week later, nothing The Main issue I have is not with the installers or sales people I have dealt with but follow up afterwards is dismal. I am hoping for an outcome of at least having the defective boards changed as they are not the quality of the higher price I paid for what I was told was a very durable product.50 Floor

We contacted 50floors after seeing an advertisement on their website stating "FREE Installation Until March 31, 2023." I was impressed and contacted them right away. The gentleman came to our home and gave us a quote of $8000 for a **** sqare foot area. He asked what promo I found and I stated the free installation and he said "oh yeah, the $100 off coupon". I showed him the webiste which states "FREE INSTALLATION" and mentions no where about it truly being a $100 off coupon. This by some standards could be considered false advertisement as defined by the Federal Trade Commision. If they would like to get business from anyone they should consider less deceptive advertising. As expected we will not being going with their company.50 Floor

We paid $4,047 in total to install luxury vinyl plank flooring in our living room, foyer and hallway. The material we selected for purchase was very nice. The salesman (*****) was friendly and answered all our questions. However, the installation experience was terrible. We were told that our flooring job would take 1 day (6 hours or less) to complete. 50 Floor sent out a sub-contractor that was missing materials and rushed the job. They did not tell me that they were missing pieces until they had already began removing the old flooring. I was left with trim that was dirty and not properly nailed down. I was told to duct tape my old flooring until they could return with the proper transition pieces. It took 4 visits over the span of a month to finish this 1 day job. I took multiple days off work to be home, costing us both ************** I asked 50 Floor management for a $1000 refund and they agreed to $500. They also claim to have terminated their relationship with the original subcontractor who installed the floor. The response from 50 Floor management was better than nothing, but does not make up for the multiple negative experiences we had with the company. Dont be fooled by the commercials, this was not home improvement, done right. They may have good marketing, but I could never recommend this company to anyone based on my experience. If you are reading this, please save yourself the time, *************** by finding a reliable local contractor to work with directly.50 Floor

Second time Ive tried to do business with this company. First time was in April 2022 when i tried to order tile. Everything was fine until it was time to get the installation. They kept putting us off.saying the tile was on back order.then in August, they said that they didnt have enough installers for our area. Decided to give them another chance. Called and scheduled an appointment for March 13 between 6-8 pm. When no one came by 7:30, called the main number. Person who answered the phone said that my appointment had been canceled by upper management. She abruptly hung up the phone. We called back 3Xs before we got someone to answer the phone. **** said the same thing about upper management canceling the appointment, then without notice, she transferred us to a voicemail of someone named ************ believe. We left a message, but arent expecting a call back. Bad customer service.planning to take my business elsewhere.50 Floor
