On May 23, 2024, I went to ***** Car ***************************** Loans where I got a title loan with the help of *********************, on my Corvette Zo6. During the process she asked me for my income info & housing info. I told her I was unemployed but had some income that was roughly $1500/mth. She then said she could use my friends income if he made more to better my options. So he agreed & emailed her his bank statement. Using his income she was able to get me approved for $5000 with their lender with under 10% interest. She said the payments would be $799.51/mth. Then she gave me 4 pieces of paper to sign & handed me a $5000 check & I left. Throughout the entire process, she was very vague with the details and kept reassuring me that "she would handle everything and would not set me up for failure. I never once saw any disclosures or loan terms other than my payment amount to be paid monthly owed to lender. Later I had an email from ****** containing Loan Documents. After reviewing these documents, I noticed there was a $5819 final payment, $20 NetSpend card, and it said that I was given a $5053 check, which I was not. ****** never told me or showed me anything about this final payment nor did I authorize to E-sign anything, or given a NetSpend card! I called ****** the next day,5/24/2024 to ask her about it. She kept talking over me, and insulting me. Then the Area Manager called me on 5/29/2024 and I explained everything to her and requested a copy of all my paperwork that I signed as well as my title to my vehicle. She said she will not return my title without the $5000 and I told her I would not be able to provide her with the entire $5000 immediately. No where in the fraudulent loan documents does it state that I, the consumer, must return funds provided by seller in order to cancel the loan or get my title. When I went to pick up my documents on 5/29/2024 I discovered I had been provided with another person's loan documents!Business Response

A representative reached out to me via phone from the local office in an attempt to correct the issue. They are offering to enter into a new valid contract to repay only the $5000 and upon repayment they will return my vehicle title. I have sent over my terms for this offer today and am awaiting a response.
Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

The Company has no additional at this time. if the consumer is working with a company representative, then we will need to await the process. Regarding any three-day period for cancellation of the loan, the consumer would need to return the original amount borrowed in order to cancel. It is our understanding that was not an option in this case.Customer Answer

As I work towards an agreement with the local office for a MUTUALLY agreed upon repayment document, I would like it to be known and stated that, I was not informed nor shown ANY disclosures PRIOR to accepting the loan check. I asked for your companies help in order to handle some business that needed IMMEDIATE attention that had a deadline that day. So therefore upon leaving your local business in ******, *****, I went to cash the check and handle my business immediately. Your employee told me we were done and to my knowledge because that's all she disclosed, was I would owe the $5000 plus $246.03 in interest with payments of $799.51. NO FINAL PAYMENT OF $5819.48 was ever shown to me or told to me.
I didn't receive the email containing the fraudulent loan documents that your employee forged my signature on until later that evening, on May 23, 2024. Had I been presented with these documents and ALL the fees and information up front, I NEVER would have agreed to accepting anything from y'all.
I would have found alternate ways to handle my business rather than to accept your predatory loan offer.

So I unfortunately had to take out a title loan, it was through another company and they made me switch to this company. Was paying on time every time and lost my job fell behind and was planning on trying to pay them to get caught up but now they have some to repose my truck. They refuse to work with me and never sent out a notification of repossession. The last email I got was in January and it was just a statement. Nothing has came in the us mail either. This is concerning because I've got to have my vehicle to get to and from my new job. Now my lively hood is in jeopardy.Business Response

I have had a payday loan with ***** Car Title and Payday Loan (***************************************). I made payments biweekly as that is my payday schedule. Have had payday loans with them before and never had a problem. When my payment was due March 1st (friday) I was sick with a bad case of ********** and was not able to speak. I called March 4th (Monday) and made a payment over the phone ($108.03) with a person (not automated). She accepted it and emailed me a receipt and an updated contract on March 4th. The following day March 5th (Tuesday) ***** Car Title and Payday Loan drafted the entire balance of the loan $807.87 from my bank account without my knowledge (noticed Friday morning when I checked my balance I was overdrawn.) I contacted my bank and they told me about the draft by **** Loan. So I went to the **** offices and simply asked if they could help me figure out what happened and why. Manager said there was nothing they could do about it. And I said I would really like it if they could give me the payment back from March 4th since I paid the full amount the following doing (through their draft). She said to email them a screen shot and she would see what she could do but it wouldn't be that day. I told them that I would have to go somewhere else as I had to have the money by the next day. I emailed the screen shots to her and she said she got them. Then I left.March 13th I received a call from the manager (********, I believe) at the ** Car Title location and she said she was reminding me that I have a payment due Friday. I said No ma'am, I have paid my account in full when they drafted my account. She said she had a check at her office for me for $807.87 and I had to pick it up. She said she had created a new loan for me (without my permission) and I had to pick up this check and make a payment on March 15th. I did not want a loan from them any longer and I am not going to pick up a check from them or pay them anything.Business Response
