I refinanced my loan as I purchased a different car. When they asked me if I wanted auto pay, I said no. 2 weeks later I make my payment early and the next day an auto payment was pulled from my account over drawing my bank account. When I call the loan company, she tells me auto payment is her policy, even though I told her no. It took several calls back and forth before a refund was added back to my bank almost a month later. Then a week later I recieved a check as a refund. This branch manager has no idea what she is doing and is making decisions that affect a customer even once they have told her not to do something. I have recieved 8 calls just today, all to remind me that my payment was due. This is harassment as she knows I am at work.

I took out a title loan with this business Fast Auto Loans out of ******** back in March 2015. I paid the loan off in full in 6 months, on September 2015 in cash at their location. They were supposed to send me my Title but never did. Fast forward to 2023, I'm in an auto accident and in need of my title for my claim. To my amazement, their name is still on the title as the lien holder! The number I had for them is no longer in service and I need my corrected title.

      Complaint: 20386009

I am rejecting this response because the corporate company over Fast Auto Loans didn't resolve my issue and is holding my title hostage. After contacting their customer service and never hearing back from them, I'm still in the same position in regard to regaining my title. This company has unlawfully had possession of my title since 2015 & this is an emergency situation. Their lack of concern is unacceptable.

      Sincerely,

I received a title loan over 2 years ago at the Lancaster location. I was making consistent payments and speaking with ***** when I needed assistance. I was making my payments online, due to working out of state. I had gotten my balance down to $200 when I received a call from ******* stating that location was closing, and I needed to make my last payment in order to receive my title. When I came home, i went into the lancaster location to pay off my balance, in cash, with *****. I was told my title would be mailed to me. I went back to working on the road, and forgot about my title. Over 2 years later, my car was towed, unknowingly. I filed a police report, thinking it was stolen. After days of making calls & worrying, I remembered I never received my title in the mail. Luckily, In a desperate attempt, my girlfriend called this location to see if they could look at my Lancaster account & inquire about the last ******************************* She was told that they had towed my car, and they have been trying to contact me for 2 years! I am out of state working, as I usually am so when I called and spoke with *****, I was a very confused. she said although she could see i had paid my balance down to $200, i never paid it off, & now I owe $1700 by 06/25/2023. I told her that was not true, and I paid that $200 off in cash with *****. She admitted that that was not her first time hearing this about *****, but he no longer works for the company, and because its been 2 years, she couldnt do anything about ****** have to pay the $1700 or my car would be sold. Ive had many phone numbers/phone in the last 2 years but still, I paid my account off & I should not be penalized for a former employees wrong doing. It is not fair to me.
