If you understand the market well and understand exactly what you need then the purchasing of gold or silver is a smooth process.However, for newbies who are looking to invest your 401K, be very careful. My advice is to do your own research before engaging with Birch Gold and make sure you do not commit to any purchase until you know exactly what you are buying and for how much.I was mis-guided during my purchase and in hindsight I would never have invested into Silver with Birch Gold. What I thought was the actual market price was in fact not even close. I have spoken in detail about this with Birch Gold and through this discussion I later understood that I was given a 40% mark-up in price and was told that this was due to market volatility at that time ( I have not seen this in my own research subsequently). Their internal paperwork mentioned a 25.5% mark-up, but this was evidently not the case and instead I was given a mark-up of 40% of their purchase price. In either case, the spreads and margins are extremely high.I have engaged with Birch Gold directly to better understand how this occurred. Their response has been that I had signed a contract at the market price they were offering and there is nothing that can be done. They are aware that the paperwork says one thing but my final price was something different. They have offered to speak with me each month to check on market prices, however I am not of the opinion that I will ever recoup a 40% drop in value.In short, my advice is to do your own research if you are considering purchasing gold or silver. Know what your buying and do your own research on what is truly is the market price. Then also ask what their margin is. This way you can truly make an informed decision.I'm sure over time I may recover some of these losses, but I doubt I will ever break even. I hope this helps other folks not to fall into the mistakes I have made.Birch Gold Group

To ensure this, we communicated pricing clearly on at least two occasions prior to your commitment. First, in writing through our Shipping and Transaction Agreement that you signed, and then through our Voice Confirmation on a recorded line. We also have an in-depth precious metals educational segment in our process that covers the various metals available and their characteristic traits. Customers then choose what they want to purchase based on their goals and needs.

I purchased a silver *** for ****** and the administrative fees and storage fees were more than the silver appreciated. I cashed out and the Silver Eagles I got are only worth ******. Thats a ****** loss, so buyer beware.Birch Gold Group

Our records do not indicate that you liquidated your precious metals with us, so we are puzzled by the discrepancy you mentioned regarding losses. If youre referring to values reported by your IRA ********** please keep in mind that they report metal values solely based on spot price. However, because physical precious metals are always bought and sold at a value over spot price, this does not reflect true market value of your metals. PSA ??I brought some precious metals a few months ago and to was very disappointed to find out after my testing of my gold that they were NOT "24ct gold", but gold plated. I reported it to Birch Gold Group and it was handled in a very personal manner by ******* and ********. Please make sure to test your purchase with a place that uses a metal scanner.. My investment advisor had me buy an ********** Florin .25 oz in gold and silver instead of having me buy U.S. Eagle or Buffalo 1 oz. The Australian Florin has lost 50% of its value in less than 6 months yet gold and silver remain strong in general. He assured me it was a safe and not volatile but that was not the case. Yes, invest at your own risk but I would have bought what I know but was advised otherwise and it cost me. Dont buy foreign gold or silver.Birch Gold Group
