Date of purchase April 18, 2023, Paid $65,995 before tax with trade in 2018 ****** for $21,000.00 deducted. Theatre seating was broken on delivery. Per Winnebago instructions, dealership, Great Escapes, repaired seating. We were informed by the dealership that Winnebago would not replace the unit and only repair it and proceeded with repair. The chair seat and cupholder was further damaged because of this repair. The entire left side seating misaligned, with gapes showing daylight between structure, because the seat was forced into the wrong position, and on a tilt, just as we received the unit upon delivery, and now with cup holder stuck in open position. At this point the chair has been forced, etc and no longer a dependable quality product. We purchased a brand new trailer. We face the fear of further breakage and obvious misalignment with this unit and no warranty to cover. We are asking Winnebago to replace and they refuse. We are asking you to help us communicate to Winnebago to get a new theatre seat. The trailer has been a lemon with it currently at the dealership to repair the slide out that required a new motor. The dealership was back and forth to the trailer for numerous issues, numerous times all camping season long. It has been a night mare dealing with them. Thank you for your help getting us a new theater seat.

Winnebago had submitted the dealer's warranty claim to our supplier as part of the vendor warranty agreement. The vendor has provided their approval and recommended replacement components in order to correct the concern outlined by the dealership. At this time the dealership has placed an order to move forward with the repairs to the theatre seating.

When purchasing a unit you agree to the terms of the warranty provided; the supplier of your theatre seating holds the warranty and makes the repair recommendation. They have provided the dealership with the warranty approved repairs to fix the seating, once the repair is completed please do a walk through to make sure the repair has corrected the concern you have notated.

Purchased new Winnebago travel trailer in April 2023 Noticed some bubbling in the roof panels above the sofa. Initially thought it was a manufacturing defect. Turned out to be a leak. ****** went out of business so was not able to get ahold of anyone immediately. Once we found out who would be servicing Winnebago again in the area we took the unit in and filed a warranty claim. Winnebago has denied the claim and says it is the responsibility of the now out of business dealer. I now have a Winnebago travel trailer that is less than 6 months old with a badly leaking ceiling and the ceiling board is now coming down. Winnebago will not stand behind their product and due to their poor management of distributers has pushed the problem back to me.

I have reviewed the case and requested additional information from the Winnebago dealer; the claim is not currently denied but under review. One of our representatives will be reaching out directly to the customer to provide support.

On Sept. 7th 2023 I purchased a **** Winnebago View from ******************* in ******* **. On Sept. 13th, 2023 we noticed water leaking into the front cabin and immediately drove it back to the dealer. They kept the vehicle till Sept. 27th when their service department called and stated we should pick it up. We drove a few miles and the vehicle suddenly stalled and could not be driven. The emergency brake light went on and apparently could not be released. The dealer advised it was a chassis issue and ******** should address it. I waited 4 hours for a tow and it was transported to ******************** in Hardford. Several days later on or about October 2nd ******** called and indicated ******* should send a flatbed to pick it up which did happen. The service manager indicated it was leaking in several locations. He suggested to me it was a lemon. ******* has had the camper in their possession since that date. At the direction of Winnebago they were advised to reseal the entire vehicle. I was also told once they finished it would go back to ******** to deal with whatever electrical problems existed. They called and wrote that they had completed sealing the entire camper on Oct. 6th, 2023 and stated they would leave it out over the weekend to test their work as there would be heavy rain. On Monday Oct. 9th they wrote that they were still chasing water and that they found water inside the vehicle. They told me they were contacting Winnebago for further instructions.

      Business Response

      Date: 10/13/2023

We will honor our warranty obligation and resolve any outstanding issues. We are working with ******************* to provide technical support to address the leaks. Once the leaks are resolved. the unit will be transported to the ******** dealer and Winnebago will cover the repairs needed to the chassis.

2022 Winnebago EKKO Complaint:There have been 6 ***** Safety Recalls on the 2022 Winnebago Ekko. Each safety recall has called out an increase of risk of fire in the Ekko. My current issue is with ***** Safety Recall 23V-049. Due to the increased risk of fire, the Ekko is not usable. This safety recall was issued by ***** on March 31, 2023, with owner notification on May 30, 2023, by Winnebago. According to ***** 23V-234, Part 573 Safety recall Report, Winnebago was made aware of this issue January 18, 2023. It has been over 7 months since Winnebago has been aware of the issue. As of August 17, 2023 (11 weeks and counting from owner notification) there has been no corrective action issued to dealers to correct this problem, nor any timeline for the correction. I have missed 2023 summer usage due to this safety recall. I estimate that the Ekko has been unusable for over 30% of the time due to ***** recalls. The common response from Winnebago: we are working on the fix (7 months plus), or we are having an issue with getting the parts. This has been the response to all the Winnebago design ***** recalls. When the ***** recall was due to a vendor supplied unit (propane ************ generator), the repair was within 4 to 6 weeks. In addition, according to ***** Recall Quarterly Report dates July 31, 2023, there has been Total Remedied 278 out of a recall population of *****. Why am I not one of the remedied? The expected outcome is to have a safe Ekko that does not have an increase risk of fire!

      Business Response

      Date: 08/23/2023

We apologize that the **** charging system recall remedy has taken longer to finalize than anyone anticipated. Our primary concern is to release a reliable repair that fully corrects the recall issues.

For the purpose of technician training, a limited number of ***** are currently being repaired at the Winnebago *************** Center.

We anticipate the remedy to be released very soon and will support dealers with the repairs.

I am rejecting this response because: Lame Excused.  According to the ***** web site you have repair 278 ***** by July 31, 2023.   Winnebago would not fix this many units without full technical direction.  My education guess is that Winnebago is focusing on fixing ***** for sale/delivery and leaving existing owners waiting.  I am request a date for this repair before the End of August, 2023.  My Ekko has been sitting at the dealer for two months.  If I do not receive a repair date that I deem acceptable, I will be force to take addition steps against Winnebago. I am also asking for a copy of the technical bulletin for the repair for review.  I am a retire Mechanical Engineer, PE and have the background .

      1. Winnebago wants me to pay for water damage to my 2017 Fuse **... S/N ***************** which I did not cause. It has not been driven for 31/2+ years because of the pandemic. 2. The original dealership of Clear Creek ** / (CC**) caused several problems using an incorrect sealant and sealing at two locations that where not the major cause of the massive amount of water leakage : (#1.) at the front support of the passenger side awning and (#2.) at the front air vent location. Nether of these two locations were the primary major cause of water leakage.3. Three months after deliver in March 17, ******************************************************************************** down two steep hills. This info was ignored by a CC** service agent who was angry and did not believe it happened.4. About a year later my statement about the visor leak was proven by CC** document #****** which states :Repair #1 " WATER LEAKING FROM VISOR SUPPORT-DRIVER SIDE INSIDE"... "Warranty" and also Repair #4 "SEAM CAME OFF AND HAS WATER LEAK, CUSTOMER BROUGHT PIECE IN THAT CAME OFF"..."Warranty"...this is the 1/4" piece that goes from wall to wall of the ** behind the driver and passenger seats. Earlier this same 1/4" seam got lose at the drivers seat.5. Winnebago ****************************************, has photo of mold and mildew on area near the driver visor, that proves that the CC** agent should not have ignored me and the water leakage problem could have been resolved.6.The reason for water leakage into drivers visor and ** ceiling was never resolved or drained off 7. The Fuse ** has not been used until several weeks ago and 3 days after being parked the roof collapsed and water drained from the ceiling but not from the roof. 8. Water on the roof did not leaking through the roof. Water on the ceiling never got removed properly. 9. Apparently water leakage was through the seal on top of the drivers cab.10. The original ownership of CC** was sold and then closed and out of business

We regret the circumstances described. Customer satisfaction is a primary object of Winnebago and we make every attempt to ensure that our owners are satisfied.

Although warranties are designed to cover unpredictable situations which may occur, we are always willing to consider individual requests for assistance. We hope you understand, however, that we must place limits on our warranty policy. As the limited warranty on this unit expired 3/17/18, we must decline participation with repairs.

It should also be noted that sealants are a maintenance item. We recommend sealants be inspected every six months and replaced as needed.

      1. 1 Shouldn't have to pay for ***manufacturing errors made when the Fuse RV was built***or poor workmanship by
Clear Creek RV (CCRV) because water leakage problems were not corrected properly. Water that leaked into
the drivers cab and also the RV ceiling and never got properly drained out.

2.There were two ownerships of**** CCRV that went out of business and no longer exist. ***

      3. The Fuse RV has been parked and covered with a regular coach type canvas for almost 4 years and was not
driven at all, *** BECAUSE OF THE PANDEMIC WHICH OCCURRED***

      4. Because CCRYV is no longer in business, service was performed at "Affordable RV Repair” on 5/31/22.

5.The Fuse RV was driven to "Affordable RV Repair" a year before the roof collapsed. Water that was never blown
out (as it should have been) showed leakage into two front RV light fixtures.

      6. There was no damage to the roof at that time stated above. [email protected] was provided with a
      copy of Invoice # 718793 dated May31,2023.

The roof collapse occurred (3) days after my daughter drove the Fuse RV to her house in Mill Creek, WA, last
month in July 2023. The Fuse RV had to be driven up and down many hills on the normal route to her house. The intent
of my daughters’ driving the Fuse RV was to let her buy it.

« COLLAPSE OF THE ROOF OCCURED BECAUSE *** LOTS OF WATER THAT HAD LEAKED INTO THE
      CEILING WAS NEVER REMOVED ENTIRELY***,

+ **THE MISTAKE OF THINKING THE AWNING SUPPORT WAS CAUSE OF LEAKAGE ALLOWED MORE
WATER LEAKAGE TO OCCUR AND NOT BE REMOVED. ***

« **THE POOR QUALITY WORKMANSHIP BY THE TWO OWNERS OF CLEAR CREEK RV CAUSED THE
ROOF TO COLLAPSE......BECAUSE EXCESSIVE WATER LEAKAGE AS REPORTED WAS NOT ALL
      REMOVED***,

*** ALL WATER THAT HAD LEAKED IN, HAD NOT EVER BEEN DRAINED AND REMOVED COMPLETELY.

      ®e eo o @

*** OPENING CEILING LIGHT FIXTURES AND BLOWING OUT WATER COULD HAVE PREVENTED THE
ROOF FROM COLLAPSING** WATER REMAINED ON THE CEILING BELOW THE ROOF FOR YEARS
AND YEARS, *** ROTTING THE WOOD THAT SUPPORTED THE FLAT ROOF. ***

      MORE FACTS LISTED BELOW :

#1. The 2017 Fuse RV had been driven about 2000 miles from Winnebago in lowa to CCRYV In the state of WA. and
      placed In-Srv 3/27/2017

#2. FIRST LEAKAGE: After being driven only 1156 miles after delivery: The supervisor agent was told that WATER
HAD BEEN DRIPPING FROM THE DRIVERS VISOR when driving up and down (2) steep hills, The supervisor went
on top of the roof and did not believe it occured.

      #3. SECOND WATER LEAKAGE : After driving only 1156 : Invoice #139156 dated 6/1/2017 states "C/S LEAK
BEHIND PASSENGER SEAT ON WALL" & " EXCESSIVE WIND NOISE FROM ENTRY DOOR WHEN DRIVING" .
CAUSE: Open hole where awning wires go into hole. This was later determined not to be the only source of
      repeated water leakage

#4. THIRD WATER LEAKAGE : After driving 6,249 total miles: Invoice #147623 dated 9/28/2017 states "SEAM IN
DOOR IS LEAKING WATER INTO UNIT. WATER IS POOLING AT ENTIRE DOORSTEP, WATER COMING IN ON

RIGHT SIDE OF DOOR DOOR. CAUSE: Gaps in sealants at roof moldings and awning mount. Sealed coach front
cap Sill leaking...."Found leakage at forward bracket for awning mount"

#5. FOURTH WATER LEAKAGE: When removing items from the coach to bring it to Roy Robinson RV water
stains were on sheets stored in the cabinet above on the passenger's side of the bed.

#6. FIFTH WATER LEAKAGE PROBLEM: was the same as THE FIRST LEAKAGE PROBLEM (listed above as #2.)
that was ignored: "WATER HAD BEEN DRIPPING FROM THE DRIVERS VISOR"

The original CCRV Company was sold and purchased by new ownership: Invoice #179064 stated "1835
Miles/Hrs In" and then the following info is what was documented:

Repair #1 " WATER LEAKED FROM VISOR SUPPORT AREA NEED
DETAIL PICTURES IF THERE THERE IS DELAM, NEED
PICTURES OF ROOF AND INTERIOR WHERE LEAK IS
      CAUSE: Gaps in sealant,
      concerned areas, repair
CORRECTION: Prepped all concerned areas, resealed all

Repair #3 SEAM CAME OFF AND HAS WATER LEAK CUSTOMER
BROUGHT PIECE IN THAT CAME OFF

These two repair steps #1 and #3 above were not accomplished .No pictures were taken and the #3 request for
replacement of the seal across the wall behind the driving area was not accomplished.

+ Had the original CCRV agent believed me, when he was told about streams of water from the driver's
visor, the major water leakage in the drivers area and also the RV area could have been fixed properly...
but it never was fixed correctly !

#7. There are photos of two areas that leaked water into the driver's zone: One that shows lots of mildew on the ceiling, to
the left of the driver's visor. Another that shows water leakage inside the storage cabinet above the driver's seat. There
are also 24 photos of leakage problems taken inside the Fuse RV by Ray Robinson RV.

#8. Lots of mildew appeared to the left of the driver's side visor. Pat Tuia the Service District Manager in WA state has a
photo sent to him way before the roof collapsed. And that is why he contacted [email protected] a month or
so before the roof collapsed. More pictures of water damage in the drivers cab area and RV area are available as
      attachment photos.

CONCLUSION: A lot of water has leaked into the Fuse RV and never got removed as it should have. That is what
      caused the roof to collapse.

I am attaching first and last month statements from La Mesa Rv to show the 4 month time of lack of service and copies of our unanswered letters to ***************

We have still not received all parts to complete this repair.  Missing table top damaged during repair.

May 8, 2023 we took our RV in for a scheduled service (two manufacturer recalls) to *******************, *******************, ******, **. only to find our dealer had closed operations. their service department was still open and said they were finishing all service contracts and would be open into June 2023 and there was no need for concern. This is a transaction directly between the consumer and their dealer. Per our sales department, price increase notifications were sent to dealers in December 2021. It is the dealer's responsibility to relay any price changes to the consumer.

I am rejecting this response because: obviously this information wasnt passed along to myself or I wouldnt have made the claim to the BBB, the update was provided last minute on the date of unit release.
How is the dealer expected to know the exact price increase 17 months prior to ** delivering the unit? This responsibility lies with the manufacturer.
Due diligence needs to be utilized. Why wasnt this pricing information passed along at completion? The unit remained in your yard until recalls were completed which amassed an additional ~30 days after completion. Surely Winnebago would have calculated a detailed breakdown of costing at this time and should have passed this info to the dealer accordingly.

      Sincerely,

      Doug

The fabric is a purchased component that is covered under the one year warranty. The supplier will, on occasion, offer assistance outside of that one year window. As the limited warranty on this unit expired 9/06/17, it has exceeded the terms of any coverage.

I am rejecting this response because:the response to this complaint is outrageous.

leather material is supposed to last a lifetime

There is no question that the material used was inferior and Im sure Im not the only one to complain

I paid over $120,000 for this inferior product, Winnebago should be ashamed.

1 year warranty is Ludicrous. If they cheaped out on this item what else have they done

Shame on them, I will spread the word.such an easy fix to exchange the inferior cushions with higher quality ones.

please advise how I could take this to the next step

i would love a representative to inspect the cushions and tell me I should be held responsible for the damage

      Sincerely,
