      After having the Intoxalock device installed an error on device stated viol 3 lockout 4 days to service. I called the consumer service line. I made 7 attempts to contact a consumer service respective. The last attempt I finally was able to talk to a respective to discuss why I was getting this error. She stated that it was because of a failure to blow. From there, I asked when did this occur? She stated yesterday. In which I replied I didn't have the device till today 12/15/2022. She then corrected herself it was today at 12:44. From what I can recall I was on the road because I left the shop at 12:10 and I live 1 hour for the shop's location. While coming home I had two random retest. 1st first test, I pulled over in a safe location to do the test and I was unable to blow a strong enough to do the sample. After multiple tries I finally was able to reactive the device. 2nd random test I was unable to pull over in a safe location to do the test. After several minutes all the pull offs where covered in snow. Once the cars the horn started to blow I finally found a location, in which it still had 2-3 inches of snow in it. These are the two times in which I believe I was lockout out. I told the respective the circumstances and that this my 1st day having the device. She said she would have to talk to her supervisor to redact the $75 fee to get it serviced but it would take up to 48 hours to do so. Then I asked how long do I have to take the random test she said five minutes to do so. I live in a rural location where there are not many pull offs to do the test safely and in time; so that the device will not lockout. With that, I'm luckily to find a pull out within the 5 minutes that is cleared and safe to do so. She then stated that most drivers will do the test while driving. I do not feel conformable doing the test while driving. This device is causing drivers to have one hand off the wheel and distracted. Which would cause an an accident.

      Customer service rep told us to disconnect the battery to reset a problem with the device, and then he was disconnected on the phone. So we got charge the $75. Another rep said we wouldn't be charged because he could see that we were on the phone with a rep. We were still charged. Now that the year is over Interlock has not filed the paperwork that the term is over, and they want another $50 to calibrate the device. This company has horrible customer service on purpose so they can charge more. It is fraudulent and I have just filed a complaint with the state attorney general.

      This is the worst company for doing any kind of business. I started doing business with company on 11/3/21 on 11/21/22 I was GRANTED a full driver's license. My experience with this company is most of what all the other compliants against this company. Their customer service is very poor and rude. They deceive you by lying about the services that they offer.I was told that my insulation and the removal of the device was free only to find out at the end on my lease that it isn't free. They have hidden fees that they do not tell you about. The auto shop is free to charge you for services that are not outlined in your lease agreement, such as, a $25 fee for each calibration, a $150 installation fee and $150 removal fee. Intoxalock will drain your pockets with all their hidden fees. Data processing fee $3.00 this charge comes as a separate charge. 24/7 Roadside assistance fee $4.00 you do not get this service paying for nothing. Sleeve lease fee $1.00. Device protestion fee $5.00. Lease charge $25.71 and faulty device charges. They only have one service center and you can not get good service. Intoxalock company and the auto shop Auto Dynamix owns me a refund and my deposit credited to my account. No ignition intoxlock company has the right to deceived their customers without disclosing all fees that they will be charging you upfront. Under both federal and state law, it is unlawful if the company tends to mislead or deceive their customers with false statements (Deceptive Description). This type of deception causes consumers harm financially an unnecessay hardship. I am seeking ccompensation for a percentage of the money that I have given to this company for all the problems that they has caused me. The only way for stressful customers to get any good service from Intoxalock is to file these BBB Complaints. No good customer wants to spend time filing these complaints. This company is causing customers more harm than good they needs to be investigated and monitored

      Still no word from this company about sending me my deposit credit that they (Intoxalock) owe's me. I have completed the Michigan Department of States Secretary of States 1 yr. requirements and their device has been removed and returned to them my the company that installed it. There are no restrictions on my driver's license. Why is this company delaying on sending me my deposit? This company is bad for business.

      I have experienced temporary lock outs, brushed my teeth, car started fine, 5 minutes on the retest, it said invalid sample. I had 5 temp lockouts within 5 weeks and did not do anything different than I currently am now. I do believe they manipulate the device once things are going well to make you go in and pay the monthly fee of $59, then $75 for the recalibration and $20 to the store who recalibrates it. It suddenly stopped after 5 weeks.
      I then did not retest after coming home, and did not know that was an issue, after all I did reach my destination before the 5 minutes was up. I had a lock out again. I called and asked during the 5 weeks of lockouts, and the customer service agent told me it could happen if your vehicle is too hot or too cold. Now it was August, of course the car was hot. Only to find out later, that is not true information. The mouth piece falls off constantly and is not secure. This leaves me to locate it on the seat next to me while driving which is dangerous when driving and you cannot pull over on a freeway or hwy to place it back on safely. This is not recommended to anyone ever. Everyone must go to another company.
      Apparently I had 2 retests that I missed and had no idea because I turned off the car so they won't motion for it to be removed after the 6 month lease. However, getting back in the car and testing the car started just fine, still had to recalibrate because of that even when driving with BAC of 0.

      Well, I certainly must learn to look up reviews on the BBB website rather than google and all the platforms. I currently use an Intoxalock breathalyzer and every review I've read sums up all things that have frustrated me. Watch your app and your bank account because they will leave you high and dry! This company does care about customer service or stealing money from your bank accounts. I've had to call so many times to have unnecessary charges removed. This place is a joke. Just because I was charged with a DUI doesn't mean I deserve to have my money incorrectly taken from me nor should I be treated any less. This is a business and I have a choice! So for those reading this, please choose another company, maybe something local. I cannot believe this company can get away with treating its customers like garbage and sending through charges that are not accurate. DO NOT CHOSE INTOXALOCK!

      Had an AZ dui. Mandated breathalyzer and camera installed in vehicle. Paid monthly service(s) charges. Intoxalock is poorly managed and it's gps system/technology is spotty. I experienced several device failures or "lockouts" and incurred extra charges. I even had to pay for towing as a result of lockout. Towing, calibration, installation charges??? At the end, with the AZ clearance letter for device removal I had more stress from them and no cooperation. Questioning my authority only to extort more money from my credit card. The 24/7 telephone employees are foreign and English spoken is secondary. Intoxalock is a greedy arm of the government that franchises it offices and employees across the country.

      INTOXALOCK ARE THIEVES!!
      i sent them the compliance form that they are supposed to fill out fully and sign before sending it to penndot, next penndot recognizes that i complied to my restitution and they send me my license back. i have sent this form to them 3-4 times and everytime they fill it out WRONG! it is not a hard form to fill out. just a name a date and a signature, they fail to include at least 1 of those 3 things when they send to penndot, forcing penndot to deny it.
      i fins it really hard to believe these people cannot do their job properly which is why i believe they are stealing from me. i am paying for intoxalock monthly and i am unable to use it due to intoxalock and their stupidity.
      please help it does not even seem real to me that this is happening.
      DO NOT GET INTOXALOCK EVER!

      My husband had intoxalock for a year and it was a complete nightmare from day one. I fought with on them trying to say he had alcohol in the truck and drinking and the man never had a drink this went on for a good month . Until I made them change out the hand held device which they want to charge me $25 and refused to pay. Finally it come time to remove the system that's when it messed up his truck the power locks and the would not work the automatic locks would not work the truck won't start. I took it a garage which they said they would pay and come to find out the wiring is all messed.I ended up paying $318.00 'out of pocket expenses. I have reach out with texts and Emails and they said sorry you are on your on. We are paying anything. And yes I have this in a written letter and I faxed them back explaining everything and how it took place no reply back. Jose Garcia
