      I wish I could do 0 stars. Every time I call its at least 30 minutes on hold. I had to call twice the other day day and both hold times were over an hour. Everytime I call I am told something different. They refuse to send me my certificate of compliance Even though their FAQ.s say they will send to customer and customer must provide to state. Please try you luck with another company because Intoxalock *****

      This place needs to be investigated. I have been trying to get my device removed for almost a week now to no avail. Using the automated service keeps denying me removal because it says my removal location is closed and to call back during business hours. In the mean while i have had to pay for an additional calibration that i wouldnt have to pay if the device was removed. I also payed another monthly fee. I have been on hold for three hours today during three separate calls to speak with a representative getting through once only to be told to call back when the location was open. This is unfair as i know i wont be refunded

      This place is criminal and should not be operating in the state of *********. Filed a report with business Fraud task force. Hopefully they get investigated and held responsible for there outright criminal activity.

      Very poor customer service skills. My car started just fine, with no issues for over a month.. even started great this morning. I drove a mile down the road, shut the car off the get a drink and was back in the car before the timer went off. However the car wouldnt start. The device started beeping and throwing all kinds of codes. I was completely stranded with 2 young children in 30 degree weather. Intoxalock told me I could not have the car jumped, I had to trouble shoot it with a wrenchI didnt have one and told the *** over and over again.. I guess Im supposed to just pull tools out of my a** I kept asking them to transfer me to a supervisor as they were no help and I had 2 small children in the cold. I got absolutely no where! Cussed the heifer out and hung up. Called back.. the second *** was great. She put the car in maintenance for me and told me to jump the car, that trouble shooting was useless as I only had 7.5 amps running from my battery and needed 12. She then told me once the car was running to get somewhere safe and have the battery charged. If the issues continued to call back, and we would then Troubleshoot the car with a fully charged battery. I asked her for an extension, she didnt have one but told me her name was **** and shed be there until 10. It was 3pm.. an hour later I called back. Told them my issue and he said call tomorrow I asked for the troubleshooting ***** the 3rd *** at that time told me.. they were closed. I told him I know thats a **** lie I need to speak with **** shes there till 10. He said I cant transfer you so I asked to speak with the manager on duty.. ohh they arent in, its the weekend. Call tomorrow.. I work! Yall expect me to pay this ****., I gotta work. I dont have tomorrow I have today. I need to talk with **** please. Read my notes on the chart and transfer me.. still refused. I now have to pay to have it towed and put in the shop to find the issue.. whats the point of the protection plan!!

      I wish I could leave negative stars. *** never experienced customer service this bad in my life. Ive been on hold for hours over the past 4 days and still have not gotten anyone to take my call. The online chat for customer service always says there is not representative availability and does not allow you to wait for a representative. I pay for roadside assistance but theres no number to call for assistance. This is horrible and I will be switching to another company.

      This company is a scam. To make this very clear, this is a voluntary install to protect my daughter, not a mandatory state requirement! We were offered a deal to activate the interlock system for $29.99 and pay $54 every 2 weeks. Here it is first payment coming due and they are trying to charge me $153.18! The additional $99 they claim are taxes, shipping, installation fee(which we payed $250 for day of install), another activation fee, etc! This was never discussed and never agreed too. It took nearly an hour on hold to talk to someone, in *****, just for her to tell me there is nothing she can do. I'm currently seeking legal advice to sue **** company. As per the BBB and several on-line services this company has thousands of lawsuits pending! Whatever you do, do not get this device! Wish I had done my homework better before getting this! Shut them down!

      This company ***** They dont help you, instead find ways to extend your lease. They go out of the way to give you no information to help you. And they make sure they report you to the *** if you violate the smallest rules, I had to take off the interlock for repairs on my vehicle. The state of ******* gives you only three days to repair your car. Which is another scam, anyways Intoxalock did not inform me that I had to inform them that the device was installed back within three days. Instead they inform *** that i hadn't installed it back so *** added another year to my interlock Such a scam by three business, dont go with this busniess

      This company makes a device that works. That's why it gets a 1 star. That said, it's a criminal company that steals money from its clients. You want the device installed today? They'll respond quickly, sell you package deals that take even more money from you, and make sure you get email correspondence, an app, and website details so you can get on your way. When you want the device removed? No response. They'll leave you on hold indefinitely. Putting in a removal request on their app or website yields zero responses, ensuring that you'll have to pay every week for another month because your "lease" wasn't extended. Any good review you see about this company is fake. I've talked with 5 other customers from this company and they had the exact same experience I did. This company should be shut down. Do not sign up for their device or services. I rarely write reviews for businesses, but I felt it necessary to share my experience with Intoxalock.

      Horrible. My partner needed an interlock installed, and they were the first to show up boasting tons of *fake* amazing reviews.She has since decided to cancel with them and go elsewhere after reading numerous horror stories of people getting charged mystery fees, faulty devices, and so on.Firstly, they set an appointment to have the device installed on a Sunday at CarToys. Come that Sunday, CarToys says they don't receive Sunday shipments and were not even aware of the appointment. Intoxalock had said there is a $50 missed appointment/no-show fee. We are yet to know if that will be charged. They rescheduled for another time without communicating with her, for a random date time, and place. They refuse to help or answer their phone.After requesting a refund and an appointment cancellation, she was berated and hung up on. She still does not know if they will charge extra payments, even without a device installed.Stay the f*** away from these scammers. It is insane that they are in business, exploiting and profiting from those in tough situations. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

      I just dont understand how this is legal. Theres so many things wrong with this device. I understand it has the disguise of stopping drunk drivers and maybe it does to an extant, but it causes more problems and any solutions. Ive had this device for 2 months and Ive had to spend about $2000 dollars between some random $50 dollar fee every 2 weeks and about $800 in service/towing. I do not make a lot of money and this device has shut my car down twice causing me to miss work!!!!I am afraid I am going to lose my job because of this this company Intoxalock has put me in a constant state of anxiety and fear that I may lose my job because I have to keep calling out for car troubles. I am 100% flawless on my test and my records will reflect that. I have been sober for 6 months. I get that this device is supposed to keep drunk drivers off the road but this company is exploiting vulnerable people put on probation and milking people for money. Its about to be Christmas and I am stranded in the side of the road late for work AGAIN! This is unacceptable!!! My transmission was cut off IN THE MIDDLE OF THE INTERSTATE!!! I called Intoxalock to try and get this fixed ASAP and after confirming everything was good on my end they asked me if I ATE ANY DONUTS?!????!? Because apparently EATING DONUTS will trigger the device to lock your car????!!!?? So yes I found the answer to why I will be late for work I ate a donut I cant believe this is happening to me. This company is as unserious and fraudulent as it gets. I take full accountability for my DUI, but this is just wrong. I hope this company gets exposed for how fraudulent it is and our local government stops paying these crooks and accepting kick backs from them. There has to be a better way.
