  Intoxalock, ignition interlock device provider is collectively the worst most money hungry company I have ever had to come to grips with. Intoxalock claims on their home page of their website that they are affordable, easy to use, convenient, 24/7/365 support, and mobile app. I paid over $3,000 to Intoxalock and I was only sentenced to having the ignition interlock device for a year, between my lease charges, device protection fees, sleeve lease fee, roadside assistant, data processing fees, set up fee, second set up fee, lock out fee, calibration fees, removal fees, mechanic work due to damage from the device, missing work multiple days due to mechanical issues caused by the device, lease extending fees, closing fees, and all and all my mental health which is priceless. Intoxalock is not in the slightest bit easy to use. The ignition interlock device is a bigger distraction than texting while driving and is extremely dangerous. This device is bulky, the wire rubs your leg while driving being in a high stress traffic situation and having to blow into this device while trying to also keep all your focus on the road, being a safe driver. They are very sensitive to perfumes,foods, hand sanitizer and etc. You will need extremely strong lungs to blow into this device as well. Convenience is another trait that they claim to have, I live in an area that sometimes gets below zero in *******. Not being able to start your car due to the device warming up and you having to sit in your car until it warms up so you can provide a sample doesnt feel very convenient to me and even dangerous. In the summer when it gets hot out you need to wait to start your car and suffer without AC on a hot summer day for the device to cool down,also dangerous. Everything about this device is not convenient. As a matter of fact it is dangerous and I strongly urge people not to use Intoxalock.I am very disappointed and concerned with others having to use this dangerous device like I have had to.

  If I can give them no stars I would. Intoxalock makes it so difficult to reach a customer service representative. And when you do they all seem as if they cannot do anything and will transfer you. In a matter of 30 mins I was transferred 4 times. I called from 3pm until 6 pm and was unable to get compliance department in the phone. When I finally got to the supervisor because the merchant called them compliance **** was closed. They kept putting me on 2 min holds then one time sent me to a survey like they just got tired of talking to me. None of them know what they are doing and its frustrating when you are trying to be compliant and the business doesnt care!!! They have no escalation process and they shouldnt call it customer service if they cant help.

  Horrible company. **************** is in *****, or somewhere. I got a Viol 11, and Viol 12, because my battery cables were loose on my battery, I believe. Charged me like $300 in charges for having done NOTHING WRONG on my end. Then try communicating w/ppl and their broken Indian-first language skills - it's asinine. This company is a scam.

  This company has done nothing but lie and come up with charges that dont apply to you. They never submitted paperwork on time and now after doing an extra year for emergency brain surgery, like everyone else i gotta do an extra 120 days and have to cancel my major back surgery! the state of tennessee has paid them and so have I. I have been through mental health management because of this company. it just makes you wanna kill yourself..

  Beware of this company. They take EVERY opportunity to withdraw money directly from of your account. They refuse any assistance even have experienced multiple issues that have cost hundreds of dollars without reasonable accommodation to credit my account regarding events they charged me for that were outside of my control. They will take every opportunity to remove money from your account. There is no chance of getting reimbursed or credited for reasonable situations like going on vacation only to come back and find your vehicle immobilized from the device draining your battery and stranding your family, causing hundreds of dollars in towing fees to your designated service center, along with service fees, lockout fees, Uber fees, etc. They withdrew $75 (+$40 service fee to get the device reset) for the mistake of forgetting a spare key fob (in my backpack) in the vehicle. They refused to credit my account, stating it was my fault for not knowing that would happen. They withdrew $75 (+$40 service fee to get the device reset) for the mistake of taking my vehicle for an oil change when I couldnt access my vehicle, even after I submitted a maintenance request and dealer receipt proving date of service because I called 2 hours after my appointment. They refused to credit my account again. 1 star is more than they deserve. This company is a joke and a scam. Their business practice should be illegal.

  A total rip off a waste of money and incompetent staff. These people charged me for things that were never mentioned. After finally getting a hold of someone yes we see the issue and will refund the money to your account. Uh no not to the account back to me! BACK to my debit card! The rep who set this process up is no longer available which is not a surprise. I do not understand how these people are still in business. They need to SHUT DOWN!

  This company is a complete scam. They add charges out of nowhere. When you try to pay they require you to mail a check or cash?! And Ive never dealt with such rude customer service agents in my life. They say theyll help you out and its out of their hands because of the system but wont explain why and wont transfer you to a supervisor or even the right department. I would never recommend this company to anyone! And Ive contacted the courts to try to ensure they remove the recommendation for the Intoxalock company. There are different companies that I wish I would have used. So if you need a breathalyzer in your vehicle DO NOT USE INTOXALOCKk!If I could leave 0 stars I would.

  I was locked out of my vehicle by intoxalock after an apparent loose wire under dash. I had them try to do a reset and it didn't work. I had to have my vehicle towed to a service center at a cost of $250.00 and a $75.00 reset fee that didn't work. They said if it was the fault of initial installation, I would be reimbursed. I sent all the information to there company and waited for 6 weeks and called them. They said it was under review. I called 2 weeks later told them my story and they hung up on me. This company ***** big time

  Garbage extortion artists with faulty C*** equipment. I have 5 videos and counting of this companies garbage equipment continuing rolling retests after my vehicle is completely turned off keys out of ignition and going inside to bed! I thought a rolling rested test occurred while the car is being operated, not shut off, keys removed and parking brake on! Then when you try and call them for photos and proof to send to ********* to fight the false and quite frankly cruel and usual punishment of extending my original 3 years to a now 5 here in July of 2024 and trying to add two more years for a total of 7! Also when I tried to call them to get photos from their camera, they want 130 dollars for information that either incriminates or exonerates oneself. HMMM weird anywhere else in ******* that is consider Extortion/blackmail. Oh also i recorded that conversation if they try to call me a liar. If anyone has info on an attorney or any knowledge of a class action lawsuit I would like to join! OH wait there are already several *********, ****, ******* are in the process, and it looks like Michigan will be jumping on board in the near future possibly. AND WHAT THE **** WHY CANT I LEAVE ZERO STARS!
