I was told to go online to do a change of address for my mom because the post office did not have any actual cards to complete. So I went online to what appeared to be the usps website. However, it wasn’t and I inadvertently was scammed for $179.95. On what was only supposed to cost $1.40 per the post office. I did not realize the charge on my bank account until the weekend. I did the change on a Tuesday 3/14. I received an email from this email address confirming the change. So I did not think anything until I saw my bank account. See below:

I began missing mail around 2-3 wks. upon receiving emails from my creditors stating, that my mail was returned. So, upon reaching out to the Postal customer service I was told by the supervisor at that this location that my mail was on hold and then I proceeded to inform him that nothing was placed in my mailbox to state that, and continued to inform him that I check my mail daily and I don't have enough mail coming in to have my mail placed on hold. Then he said Well you did change address which I told him to verify that I request the change of address. He informed me that he would get back to me. 2 weeks pass by and I call the 1800 number and I'm informed that the case is closed without my knowledge. So today 2/27/2023 at the Post office to speak with the supervisor about my case. I questioned him again about the carrier's actions and was told that the postal service has the right to hold and send back your mail without your approval. This is not true, and I request his name and to file a grievance form and a Form 95 because my son's SSI benefit check was returned. looking at legal options for a Civil case.

Tried to change address with a website that I believed to be ***** It asked for my card information for identification purposes only. I then get an alert for $179 from the bank that this entity charged my card for. I emailed back to the address the confirmation came from in my email stating I did not authorize this charge nor was it stated that their would be a charge and I got no reply. I also cannot find their website it no longer appears.Initial Complaint

On 1/23/23 I attempted to change my address through the postal service. I am used to this being a 1.10 charge. When I went to my bank account, $179.00 were charged from Change-US AD. The website was a top result on Google, and claimed to be the official us post office website. I got an email from [email protected] confirming my purchase. They sent me this log in information password: 7843CUCCYCEQB and my email. I am not sure what to do.Initial Complaint

I went online to change my address Last year, January 24th. Thought it was legit. They charged me $99.95. At first my debit card said that it was put a hold on it for the amount for 10 days and then I just checked it and it was paid. But just after that I realized that the real **** doesnt charge this amount of money for a change address. I got really mad, tried to cancel, send a email or got into the customer **********************, but theres none of these information on the website, not even a phone number. For my surprise, I went through my account today (01/18/2023) and this company charged me again, but now was $149.95. There is no contact information to get in contact with anyone. My demands:I want my money back and no want to be charged anymore.Initial Complaint

12-24-2022 I went to the United States Postal Service website usps.com like I have done several times in the past to file for a change of address. Upon filling out my information and clicking next I was somehow redirected to postal address change where I put in my payment information. Unknowing to me that I had been sent to a new website. Once again I was on the official website for USPS. Upon completion of the payment information I came to find out 149.95 was taken from my account under a different name than USPS. I believe this company to have placed a hidden link with in the coding and is scalping money off of people using a scamming technique. They claim to offer refunds to anyone who request, but they have also made sure to make it impossible for a person to actually contact them. Normally I quadruple check the information before submitting payment and the one time I don’t I get scammed. At this point seeing how many people they have hustled under these tactics I can’t believe they are not in jail. These scams become more advanced everyday while buy protection becomes less and less.Initial Complaint
