      It has been well over six weeks since I emailed you with my questions. I have received zero responses or email correspondence. I am requesting our account be discontinued. Our experience has been nothing short of bad and unprofessional. I called almost 2 months ago and was told our account was cancelled.

      ************************************************* (CATS) entered into a new agreement with Stericycle effective March 1, 2025. The agreement calls for *************** Fees $0.00 with the understanding there would be no bill unless we called for service. The only service listed in that agreement is regulated medical waste serviceautoclave which is the only service we agreed upon and are requesting from Stericycle, Inc. at this time.Less than a month into that agreement, there was a breach of contract by Stericycle. We were billed for services beyond those listed in our contract which we did not request. The services were detailed on Invoice No. **********:3p-CSRX controlled substance subscr, 03-01-2025 to 03-31-2025, $33.51 3P-hazardous drug disposal subscr, 03-01-2025 to 03-31-2025, $79.87 Steri-Safe OSHA compliance subscription, 03-01-2025 to 05-31-2025, $784.05 Environmental / Regulatory fee, $170.52 Energy surcharge, $5.26 Fuel surcharge, $30.27 Furthermore, on March 24, 2025, Stericycle, Inc. withdrew $1,103.48 from our checking account for those charges, amounting to an unauthorized electronic withdrawal from a bank account which allegedly constitutes wire fraud.Despite numerous service requests submitted to Stericycle to correct the situation (Reference ********, Reference ********, Reference ******** and Reference ********), two phone calls to Stericycle on April 8 and April 18, an email to Peighton *****, Inside Sales Executive on March 26, and a letter to ***** *******, Account Manager on April 21, the funds have not yet been returned to our account. It appears Stericycle is in too much disarray to address and correct the breach of contract in a timely manner and return our funds.

      Subject: Formal Complaint Against Stericycle, Inc. Illegal Invoicing and Unlawful Collections Stericycle, Inc. has repeatedly issued inaccurate and unlawful invoices that do not reflect the agreed-upon rates for our different sites. Despite all service and agreements having been terminated in September 2024, the company has continued to issue invoices for the following months: October, November, and December of 2024, and January, February, and March of 2025.Additionally, Stericycle has failed to provide any proof of service for these charges, as required under our service agreement. We have made multiple attempts to resolve this issue in good faith by reaching out to their assigned sales representative. Unfortunately, our calls and concerns regarding the incorrect charges have been ********** date, we have refused to pay any of the unlawful invoices. However, Stericycle has escalated this issue in bad faith and transferred disputed amounts $10,081, $2,259.63, $4,928.35 or more to a collections agency, A.R.M. ***************, causing unjustified pressure and reputational harm to our organization.We respectfully request the Better Business Bureaus assistance in investigating this matter and holding Stericycle accountable for:1.Issuing invoices after service termination.2.Charging rates inconsistent with our agreement.3.Failing to provide proof of service as required.4.Illegally forwarding disputed charges to collections.

      I have been a customer since Sept 2023 and was happy with their service until the past 9 months. I have been charged for shredding service that was never collected. There have been multiple times they were scheduled to come and never showed. I was billed for services that I never received. I contacted Stericycle about this and was told they were at my business and took a photo of my door, therefore they collected. My shred bin is in a closed locked office and has to be opened to access it, the shredding was never picked up. I ask for the bill to be cancelled due to not having performed the service. They refused, I ask to go ahead and cancel my service. I was told this would have to have a service ticket put in and someone would get back to me. I was finally contacted and told that I had signed a 5 year contract and could not cancel. Upon further investigation I requested they go back and listen to the recorded phone call that I had with the representative as I clearly ask if I was not happy I could cancel at any time, and I was told yes. There was NEVER any mention of a 5-year agreement. This contract was signed electronically and when I reviewed that document it was nowhere on the paperwork. There service is terrible, you have to call them or log on to their site ever 3 weeks to move your shredding pickup dates or call and be on hold for 30 mins or longer, I am running a business and do not have time for this. Now that I ask to cancel, they are saying I have to pay for 3 years of service and refuse to listen to the call to verify that the time commitment was never discussed. Stay away from this company. I have had multiple phone calls and emails trying to get this resolved with no luck. Truly no customer service and they will let you know that they really do not care about you or whether you like it or not. This was very misleading that they had me sign a 5-year contract without disclosing it to me. When you go to review documents there not available.

      Our office paid the current bill in full and called to cancel our account on 10/09/24. We were given a "ticket number" for the call (********) and told someone would call to cancel our account. The call never came. After receiving a bill for services not rendered, we called again to cancel our account on 10/31/25 (Ticket #********) and was told AGAIN that we would receive a call to cancel our account. AGAIN, the call never came. After receiving ANOTHER bill for services NOT PROVIDED, we called again on 11/27/25 (Ticket #********) and received another "promise" that someone would call...no one ever called! Called for the 4th and FINAL time on 12/02/24 (Ticket # ********) and was told again that someone would call. No one ever called. Dr. **** has been billed since the original call on 10/09/24 and has not received ANY service! We have since received notice that it has gone to collections! We even sent a letter, which we have on file dated 12/31/24,...again NEVER receive a reply! They have billed us EVERY month for services NOT RENDERED. We have done everything possible to close this account!!!

      Stericycle is sending me billing notices about sending me to collections and amounts past due. I didn't request their services or to be on any scheduled service. They continue to bill me even though I was not using their services. When I requested they come remove their shred bin from my office they were extremely delayed in doing so. When they finally did pick it up they tried to still collect from me on a bill for services I never requested nor received.

      Contracted with Stericycle for pick up & disposal of medical hazardous waste. Latest pick up was scheduled for 3/25/25. Pick up driver did not call as I was told to expect. The Stericycle driver did not show up on the contracted date and time. They never do. I opened a Customer Support Reference claim which has been blatantly ignored. As has EVERY account support issue that I have ever had with this business.

      I engaged service for my business. Several months after my business sold to new owner and stericycle is requesting I pay termination fee for 60 month contract minus a few months at 50%. That equates to over $2000 for a business I no longer own. Requesting contract termination due to no longer owning the company and no longer needing services.

      My office, ******************, has been using the hazardous waste disposal company Stericycle for several years. Their fees have become ridiculous, so we called to end our relationship with the company. The individual that we spoke with said that he would issue a cancellation ticket but he himself would not be able to cancel the account. Subsequent to that, we received several phone calls from a retention sales specialist named ***** ***** asking us if there were additional questions he could help us with. I wrote a short note back to him stating there was not and to please cancel the account. He responded by stating that canceling the account would result in early termination fees. I responded by asking him for a copy of the contract, what the termination fees would be and for the local representative to contact us. He supplied a service agreement from 2010 that does not specify how long the contract is good for and what the termination fees are. I repeated my request for the aforementioned information three more times, but my emails were ignored. Approximately two days ago the office received a bill for April 2025, meaning that Stericycle still has not cancelled services.       I've been trying to cancel their service for over a year. They haven't provided any service in over a year but they still are collecting payment from me and have sent me to collections but there has been no service provided. I have spoke multiple times with the customer service staff and they say it will be canceled and then nothing happens.
