      We canceled our medical waste disposal contract with Stericycle back in July 2024 but we are still getting charged more than 7 months later. We have tried multiple times to cancel and there seems to be no way to do so. We've asked that this be escalated and resolved multiple times to no avail. It seems that Stericycle is trying to make it impossible to cut things off with them. This is not right and there should be a far simpler way to cancel a contract.

      I have paid Stericycle a monthly subscription fee for over 3 years. They are supposed to pick up medical waste twice a year. I have been left waiting around for hours only for a driver to no-show for pretty much every order I've tried to schedule. I have even been no-showed after calling customer support multiple times to confirm the delivery time. I have attempted emailing about this issue and have now been completely ignored. I feel this subscription is a complete scam and want to be refunded for the last year+ of service since I have not received anything from this company.

      We canceled our service effective Dec. 19, 2024 because of the price, pick up issues and communication issues. When I called I was told we needed to pay one more billing cycle for January, which I did, then to ignore all other bills. I opened several tickets with them and received emails saying my tickets were completed. Then 2 months later I received an email from a different person saying I was in a contract for 60 months and needed to pay the remaining balance, but my contract only says "the offer expires" in 60 months. I reached out several more times by phone call and email with no call back or email response. I have not had service since December when I cancelled. We acquired another service effective December 2024 after I was told our contract was canceled. However ********** has continued to bill me and now has sent me over to collections. I responded to the collections email with what my situation was and the automatic email response was "Please be advised that this email address has limited monitoring". I've spoken with customer service on a number of occasions each time I was told I would hear back in 10 business days and I have never been called back and nothing has been updated. Each time I contact them I speak to a different person and no consistency with communication or resolution. I would like the remaining balance to be removed from my account and no longer receive invoices from Stericycle.

      STERICYCLE:The company emails and mails fraudulent charges for services not rendered. I called their service initially on December 28 - 30 to enquire about services for January. That was my very first contact with them.The sales representative said I had to sign a docusign email just to get the process started. The docusign document disappeared before I had a chance to read it, and I never received a copy. He went on to say the service wont be started until I sign up on the STERICYCLE website. Then mid January I received an email bill for DECEMBER and JANUARY, before I even signed up for the service!!I immediately called and emailed them and they assured me that they would correct the invoice, and credit back the false charges. This was a breach of good business faith, and backdating a charge to the month of December is illegal.They did not correct it and continue to send me bills from their collections department with ADDITIONAL continued charges. THE BILL JUST KEEPS INCREASING AND I HAVE NOT USED THEIR SERVICE. I HAVE NOT SIGNED UP ON THEIR WEBSITE, AND I WILL NOT SHARE ANY PAYMENT INFORMATION WITH THEM. THEY HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY FUNDS FROM ***Despite my speaking with several customer service representatives, and numerous emails to have them stop billing me and cancel since January, they have not reached out to resolve this. I reached out to them AGAIN today via phone, and was told AGAIN that they would escalate this matter to management and have it resolved. They admitted having record of my previous emails and phone calls to cancel any future business with them. I would like for them to STOP SENDING ME FICTITIOUS BILLS, AND REVERSE THE CHARGES. I WOULD ALSO LIKE FOR THEM TO CANCEL, CLOSE ANY ACCOUNT THEY SET UP FOR ME AND NEVER HARRASS ME WITH EMAIL/POSTAL SERVICE BILLS AGAIN.I wish I had read the negative reviews complaining of these same issues on Trustpilot, ******,Yelp and the BBB prior to contacting this CORRUPT excuse for a company.

      DO NOT USE! ************ that just wants to shred paper but probably steals personal information. Contacted them for medical waste service which is empty medication bottles that has patient information on the label so shouldnt be difficult as its like shredding paper that has protected information. As you can see from the reviews all around the nation, it appears they offer medical waste services so they can fraudulently trap business into paying for paper shredding. My experience is receiving 3 invoices for monthly service and I havent had 1 pickup and every week I get a goon trying to drop off paper shredding locked cabinets. The last driver had sexually harassed my 2 nurses when I was out of the office. I dont understand why they think they can get away with this but it must be like other scams were a business will get a bill and are naive to look into if a service or product was actually used. After wasting time to call them and explain I am still getting past due notices. COMPLETE SCAM OF A COMPANY

      I am filing a complaint against Stericycle, a company we contracted with for medical waste pick-up services. As a small, privately owned doctor's office, we depend on reliable and timely service for the safe and compliant disposal of our medical waste.Unfortunately, Stericycle has repeatedly failed to meet their contractual obligations. They provide us with prearranged pick-up dates approximately six months in advance; and they are contracted to come every 6 months. However, for the last three scheduled pick-**** they have not arrived as arranged. Each time, we have had to contact their customer service team to report their failure to show up, which is both time-consuming and disruptive to our operations.On the first occasion, Stericycle missed both their original and their rescheduled pick-up times, requiring multiple calls before they eventually sent someone. The most recent incident occurred yesterday, when they again failed to show up for the scheduled pick-up. When we called their customer service this morning to address the issue, they informed us that they were unable to contact their local office to arrange a new pick-up time, and that we would have to wait for someone to reach out to us at a later date, and they gave us no specifics as to when this would happen.Adding to our frustration, despite Stericycle's clear and repeated breaches of their contractual obligations, they have refused to allow us to terminate our contract without imposing penalties. This is unacceptable, as their failure to fulfill their end of the agreement renders the contract untenable and unfairly burdens us with their shortcomings.This pattern of missed appointments and poor communication demonstrates a lack of reliability and professionalism. As a healthcare provider, we rely on Stericycle to adhere to their commitments to ensure compliance with medical waste regulations. Their repeated failures have caused unnecessary stress and disruption to our practice.

      I reached out to them to lower the services and to lower our price but when I found a cheaper company he then came back and stated that in order to get out of our contract (which the contract is expired, no new contract has been signed since 2017) so technically we are not in contract he told me it would be $5,739.90 and suggested I just sign the contract for ****** a month.I even asked for the latest signed contract with their company We DO NOT want their services anymore, they are not a good company The retention specialist I have been emailing back and forth is ******* ********

      Signed contract for sharps ********************* after speaking with sales respresantive ******. Asked ****** about the cancellation policy. Was informed that I needed to give them a 30-day window for cancellation of service. I signed the contract in the beginning of February. I emailed my sales respresentavie and called multiple times due to not receiving the sharps container to place my sharps in for removal. After speaking with customer service and an email from ******* I was told that my container would be dropped off on Fridaty, March 7, 2025. I only recieved two shipping boxes, no sharps container. I called and emailed my sales *** ******* no ***onse. I called stericycle to cancel my service due to not being able to receive the apporopriate supplies to conduct this service. I also requested my payment of $150 that was mailed. I was told by a cutomer service *** that I would receive a call from another ***. I received a call from ***resntative today and was told that I could not receive my money back and that I would owe $1425 for an early cancellation fee. I was also told that I would need to but a sharps container and they do not provide one. I explained to the customer service *** that my sales *** stated that I would receive a container to place my sharps in for removal. I explained to them that their business tactics are fraudalent and misleading. I requested to cancel my service. I did not utilize the service at all and made an early payment of $151.00 for nothing. I explained that I was not able to partake in the shaprs removal service and I shouldn't have to pay an early termination fee for services not rendered. Also, the contract does not specify an early termination fee in a $ amount.

      I would stare clear of this business at all cost necessary. They have extremely fraudulent and misleading services. We utilize them for our biohazard medical waste pickup and they have failed to pickup our boxes in 3 months. When we called to inquire about a pickup, they scheduled one-- then again, did not show up. Their manifest states that our business "was closed". However we are open 13 hours a day. The dispatcher simply did not show up on 3 seperate occasions- leaving us with solid ****** boxes in our practice. When I called to inquire, they mentioned the dispatcher said our business was closed. Which was untrue. They are now refusing to refund for services that were never rendered, because of our subscription plan. Although per the contract we are supposed to have monthly pickups. They breeched the contract agreement and still refuse to credit our account. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS! THEY ARE THEIVES AND UNTRUSTWORTHY.

      Stericycle has charged monthly for a service they have never been able to provide. They are contracted by my business to collect medical waste and sharps every 6 months. Over the past 2 years they have alleged a driver was dispatched to do so, but no contact was made to coordinate this pickup, no agent of Stericycle ever communicated there were issues with the pickup, and ultimately every attempt I have made to resolve this has ended with Stericycle hanging up while I was "on hold," or being told "a contract team member will contact you," but no followup ever occurs. As of November 2024, I have directed my bank to charge back all payments after the second time Stericycle failed to followup regarding this issue. To this day no resolution has been reached, and just today (February 27th, 2025) an agent of Stericycle called in an attempt to have us pay the balance, but offered no help in resolving our outstanding complaint and told us, once again, that an agent on the contract team would reach out.
