      We opened our account in January 2024. Our bill was doubled without any explanation in May 2024 and no one at Stericycle could explain why our bill was increased. I have been trying to get my account cancelled since May 2024. I was finally told in July 2024 that the account was cancelled and continue to receive bills and past due notices every month. I was told that though my account was cancelled in July it was not "cancelled in their system" which is why bills continue to be generated. I have called repeatedly to be told it is being "escalated to their retention team" to someone named ****. I am not able to speak to **** or anyone else in the retention team directly as they are not able to transfer calls to them. They were also unable to give me ****** last name or ****** supervisor's name. I was finally able to speak to a supervisor named *** on 9/10/24 who assured me he would have my outstanding invoices credited and would again escalate my "request" to the retention team. I received another invoice dated 9/15/24 and the other outstanding invoices are still on my account. Today, 9/26/24 I again called telling them that I need this resolved today as I have been trying to get this account cancelled since May. I was transferred to a supervisor named ***** this time. He told me that ****** last name is ******* and his supervisor's name is Wichakrana Wungwattana. ***** tried to reach out to her directly with no response. He then told me a "2nd level" supervisor by the name of ******** ********** may be able to help me. They are creating an IR ticket (incident report ticket) and said that to give it until Monday - 9/30 to be resolved. ***** told me that he would give me a call promptly to follow up on 9/27 @ 11:00CST and did not. Their practices are unprofessional at best and I have spent an exorbitant amount of my time for the past 5 months trying to get this account cancelled and no one can help when I call.

      I have reached out to stericycle multiple times to schedule a pick up. I still have not had a pick up in over a year. Despite paying for the service. We are paying for Osha training which we were not aware of originally and I have been trying to cancel it but to no avail. Now I am trying to cancel the whole service all together and they say I signed a contract in June and owe over $300 and can't cancel the whole account until it is cleared. I have been trying to schedule a pick up all year and can't get a straight answer from anyone, at no time have I signed anything since I can't even speak to anyone forget about signing something. I reach out on May 1 via email to cancel the training and schedule a pick up. I have emailed and called numerous times and spoke numerous people (all documented on my part) and still haven't received the service I have been paying for. Ideally, I would like a refund for all the pick *** i did not receive and to cancel the account.

      I am rejecting this response because: Hello! I am writing because Stericycle did reach out to me and say they would close my account. However, they were supposed to send a confirmation email and have not done so yet. I spoke with Jillanka ************* at stericycle on 10/09/24 and she said she would close it and send the email but never has. I have since called her multiple times to have her send the email and she has not responded. We just received a bill in the mail from them and have not received services from them in over a year. I was trying to schedule a pick up since 2023 to no avail even though our bill was current. After dozens of phone calls I just want to close my account since we were not receiving what we were paying for. They say we owe them $ for 4 months but why should we pay for nothing?? We paid all year and never got our bio waste picked up. So we decided to close the account and haven't paid since we tried to close it. Now that is a huge issue as well. I see I am not alone in my dissatisfaction based on all the complaints and bad reviews listed on  the BBB website. I hope you can help me and will consider changing their rating to an F  Thank you for your time and help.

      We have been paying the service fee every month, but unfortunately, Stericycle has not provided service for the past four months. Despite our regular calls, we were either told that service would resume the following week or that there was an unpaid invoice on our account.We have repeatedly contacted Stericycle and provided multiple copies of cleared check images to confirm that the invoice was paid months ago. However, we are still not receiving the service we are paying for.This situation is unacceptable and reflects poorly on your business practices. We expect this issue to be resolved immediately.

      I was enrolled in the incorrect type of waste disposal by their representative (medical waste and should have been pharmaceutical waste). I called in beginning of August and have called back multiple times (including Friday Sept 20, 2024 and today (Sept 24, 2024) trying to get this service cancelled. They keep telling me it is being escalated and I will receive a call back which never comes. I have a business to operate and cannot spend my hours hoping to speak to someone that can actually solve the issue.They are now telling me I owe them $500+ and still have not cancelled my service.All I want is my account to be cancelled and the balance cancelled out for a service that I am not using. Very simple request.

      We (****** *** **** DACM) had a service agreement binding to a service account (#******** with Stericycle *** since March 2018. Stericycle *** helps us remove the medical waste (needles).Despite their service fee increasing almost every year without agreement, not keeping promise on the pickup schedules, sending collection letters many times by mistake, etc., the old contract stood up to June 2024, and we paid all the service fees up to June ******* June 2024, we were asked to renew our service contract with Stericycle ***. However, the contract didn't satisfy what we need, and we informed the Stericycle ************ Specialist - **** ******** that we didn't agree to the contract and wouldn't sign it. And we requested him to terminate our existing service account with ********************** ***. He didn't do so. Back and forth via email he tried to force me to sign the contract with them by threating me that we had to pay for early termination fee. When I asked him, the new contract was not agreed and wasn't being signed off, where did the early termination fee come from? Then he said our account had had been switched to a minimum 5-years new contract and linked to a new account (#*********** from March 2024. However, when I asked him to provide me with the signature of who had signed that contract, he couldn't provide me with anything. Besides their internal collection department's harassing collection letters, they had an external collection agent - ****************** (Tel#************) which had started sending me collection letters on collecting money $216.27 under the new account (#**********. We didn't agree and didn't sign the new contract and it is an invalid contract. The new account linked to the new contract is an invalid account in this case.

      We have been in contract with Stericycle for medical waste pick up for years. Late lasst year/early this year when we updated our service to adjust the frequency they would pick up, they started a new 5 year contract with us without our knowledge. We assumed we were just signing for the change, not an extention on the contract. The old contract was to be up in less than 2 years. Now under a new, 5 year contract (which we would not have willingly signed as their service is terrible) they have only fulfilled their pick up obligations 1 time, yet the frequency should be e/o month. However, they are still charging us monthly as if they pick up when they should. We have called at least 10 times, emailed, etc trying to resolve this, asking for a credit for the missed pick *** and each time they promise to remedy it, give us the credit and pick up the product. They never do. We have had overflowing/dirty sharps containers sitting in our facility for MONTHS. We have received several reference numbers, dates of promises to pick up and nothing changes, and no credits. They consistently tell us the local warehouse won't answer their phone and that it's their issue. Essentially they are not fulfilling their end of the contract and stealing money. We want a refund for the missed pick *** and for our contract to be void based on being unfilfilled.

      We ended our business relationship with Stericycle in 2021. Since then they keep sending us bills from Stericycle or from a collection agency attempting to collect money. As soon as we get them to cancel one debt, they eventually make up a new one. It seems that they hope to reach a new employee who may not know about their schemes and pay it by accident. We have seen the thousands of complaints on BBB about this business and even filed against them before. They are a very irreputable company and we would never do business with them again. But they still keep sending bills for $4363.94. Make it stop. Everytime I speak to a representative they look into it and see that we do not owe them anything and never had a contract for that amount. You will see the reference numbers in the attached files but in a few months it starts over again. We would like for them to remove our company from their files.

      We have been getting harassments and threats to report our business to a collections company via phone and email. They are saying we received services but we never did. We have called multiple times but with no resolve. The local office does not return messages. The office overseas is unable to transfer to an account specialist.

      We have attempted to cancel our account with them for months and they will not respond to us. Our contract was bought out by them through another company and we are requesting our account to be cancelled immediately with no penalty - they have lied numerous times, while attempting to charge us for pickup fees claiming we were not available for pickup, when we have proof of their drivers never showing up during our business hours. Every time you call you are transferred to numerous people, just for the calls to end up dropping on their end or their employees making note of reference numbers that require them to follow up with us, and they don't. There has been no attempt to fix our account or address our issues that we are dealing with. Our own area manager refuses to respond to us or answer our questions. I have been dealing with this for months! They also automatically renewed our contract without our approval or knowledge, locking us into a 3 year contract that we did not agree to.

      I am rejecting this response because I have in fact not received a response. I got an initial email stating they were looking into it and nothing since then. We are still looking to cancel our contract immediately because of the awful experience we have continued to have with Stericycle, with them breaking their end of the contract multiple times (between their drivers lying about pickups, falsifying information, and automatically renewing a contract that we did not originally sign with them without our knowledge).

      The amount attempting to be collected on behalf of Stericycle, Inc. is inaccurate. I contacted Stericycle in November 2023 regarding adding **** to my plan. My bill was supposed to be roughly $138.76 monthly for all of the services rendered to my office by Stericycle. I ended up receiving two separate bills. One in the correct amount and one for upwards of $277.52 that was incorrect. I called Stericycle on December 1st to discuss a bill with a due date of December 18th and it was verified that the amount that was being billed was incorrect. The call reference number for December 1st is *******. I called back on December 7th asking the same questions about my bill and trying to figure out why it hadnt been resolved and why no one had contacted me. I was then told that the case had been escalated to an account specialist and that they would send a follow-up email to the specialist and contact me within 2 days. Call reference number for December 7th, 2023 is ********.On December 11th 2023 I received an email from ****** **** saying that I had somehow signed two contracts one that was more and one that was correct. They required me to sign a new contract to correct the issue. However, I continued receiving the same $277.52 bill that was now past due even though I had been told on multiple occasions to disregard it. . I called again on April 3rd, 2024 and spoke with a representative in regards to continued bills and having been sent a service disconnect notice due to failure to pay. I was told during that call that a credit would be issued to my account in order to balance out the deficit and I would no longer be billed for that amount. Call reference number for the April 3rd call is ********. During this whole ordeal, I have been paying Stericycle the correct contracted amount of roughly $137 monthly with no issue. The account is now attempting to be turned over to a collections agency. They have contacted me regarding making the now $516.45 payment.
