      ZERO STARS, but I was forced to select a rating. The company is IMPOSSIBLE to work with. **************** is horrific with no follow-through or actions, just multiple emails with random reference numbers, no details and nothing done. I have been desperately trying to cancel all services for months. The portal is ****, constantly being locked out and any password resets not working. I am still waiting for a pickup date of the Shred It bins and a confirmation of cancellation on the Stericycle accounts with clarification that nothing is owed. Waiting on refunds and hoping we don't continue to get charged. The amount of phone calls made and emails sent is beyond ridiculous. However, I am willing to be my life that if I were a new customer trying to sign up for new services...they would roll out the red carpet and be extremely quick to get all that set up ASAP. But, ****...good luck to anyone trying to cancel; you're likely to be ghosted and sent in circles!!!

      We closed our Stericycle account last year before we closed our business July 2023. We kept on getting billed every month and I have called their customer services almost monthly and they wont stop!? Now they are sending me email threatening to send me to collection?? This is the worst company Ive ever dealt with - dishonest with ZERO basic customer and accounting skills. Never do business with them

      This company is impossible to do business with.. it took over a month to get a contract signed with them. They never arrive when they say they will.. it took a month after signing my contract to receive a pick up. You try to get ahold of anyone to help you and it takes them days sometimes a week to get back with you. When I received my first invoice it was a lot higher than we enitially agreed upon and there was hidden fees and surcharges added. My experience has been very terrible and I do not recommend doing business with this company.

      Avoid this company. It required weeks of phone calls to receive an Agreement and schedule shredding services. They then arrived on the wrong day and required another period of time to reschedule. When we received the invoice it did not reflect the Agreement - much higher. After a very long time on the phone answering a variety of questions not relating to the invoice the representative stated she would "request" a credit for the over charge and we should hear back in 5-7 days. When questioning how the invoice was created to begin with - not reflecting the agreement - the representative could not answer. The error was a clear cut error - the price per shred box was $12.63 higher per box than the Agreement stated. On another note, there is a 30% fuel/recovery surcharge added to the total invoice. We were aware that a surcharge would be included but was told it is typically around 20%. Of note, they refused to put the 20% surcharge in the Agreement because "it changes constantly and depends on when you actually receive the shred service". Substantial difference between 20% and 30%. A very poor experience from start to finish.

      I ordered a ***** ** ***** to come onsite and shred on site. One that you throw the whole box in and it shreds everything. Spoke to ******* told him specifically what I wanted. I even emailed what I wanted. Shred on site less than 200 boxes at 2 locations but within 3 miles of each other. The day of the project, they sent 1 person in a box truck to load up to 200 banker boxes full to be removed and shredded back at their facility. They only loaded up boxes at 1 location. I had staff to come in on their day off to assist with the project. I was beyond furious. Called them and they said it was a misunderstanding. HOW? I cancelled the second location which was suppose to be the same day. This is the best part - a month later, I get a bill for over $4000. They said they picked up 180 boxes to be shredded - there is NO WAY they picked up 180 boxes. NO possible way. They also charged me additional fees not explained at the time of the negotiations. I was clear and precise on what I needed, where, when, and how. One day, it will "cycle" back around to you.

      We canceled service in writing in Sept. I received a bill in Oct. yet they never came to pick up. I called regarding the bill and was told the account was still active. At that time I cancelled service again. Two days later they showed up and one of my staff members gave them the boxes not realizing we had a new company. I called stericyle again, I was told the account was still active. I again canceled the account. On Nov. 16th I received another bill dated for services in Dec. I called again and was told the account is still open. I confirmed cancelation of the account and was told that a representative would call me. On Nov 28th when I did not receive a call regarding the billing issues and canceled service I called back, again I was told the account was still active. They canceled the account again and a representative was going to call me back. Today - They picked up boxes that were not for them!!! I have now been trying to get the boxes back and have been on the phone for almost an hour. They actually told me the account is still active and was never canceled. I have been trying to speak to someone regarding the level of incompetence and the fact that they have a very broken system if you have to call this many times to cancel an account.

      We have been using this company for years. Within just the past year our services have been awful and whenever talking with customer support I am left with my questions than answers. I would use to recommend the company. Not anymore.

      They ignore all calls and emails, our company has worked with them for several years and their customer service has really become unacceptable, we have been trying to contact them for over 1 month and no responses, several hours on hold with no resolution.We cannot contact anyone at their company to resolve the problem they created.Protect your company from there bad business tactics, they will cause you to be out of compliance.

      Yourbilling practices are a joke and I hope that one day they are found to be predatoryand unfair in execution due to inability to forecast your monthlysurcharge changes.A "recycling recovery" surcharge...who wants it recovered? What a joke!

      Can I leave zero stars? I specifically mentioned that I would not use this company for services if there was a length of time contract. I was PROMISED that no such clause existed. I am now trying to get away from this company after a year because they are double billing me for a couple of months and not taking care of this the way they say they will. I am now told I have a contract. They show me an email with my signature that looks nothing at all like my signature. I am told the termination fee is almost $3,000 on a $120 a month account. Totally ridiculous. How is this company still in business? Every review is horrible. Multiple reviews about fake billing and service contracts that weren't actually agreed to. I can't believe there is not a legal remedy to this.
