BioLife plasma Services advertises that you MUST donate at least 1-8 times in a single month to receive a total of $700. I have given on March 1st and 5th. After being able to schedule through the app my appointment and driving over 30 minutes to get to my appointment, I attempted to log into the kiosk, as regular procedure and was alerted of an error and to see an employee. It was ONLY THEN explained that the first two sample donated are sent to a lab for testing and the donator MUST wait 10 days until you know if youre able to continue donating. This was not included on the website, sign up process, app for the phone nor any of the constant emails they send. Waiting 10 days will put us at 3/18/2024 meaning donators will only have 13 days instead of 31, as promised via the signup process. This is extremely false advertisement and also scamming people out of their plasma. I also had 4 individuals donate plasma twice using my referral code but I was NOT given the $200 per referral per their website and app. There also NO WAY to see the terms and conditions before signing up. No links to the terms and conditions work.Initial Complaint

I was on the last 2 donations of the new donor promo. My most recent dono was on a Saturday. There was an issue and tthey ad to unhook me and defer me. That's fine. The problem is. I drove 30+ minutes TWICE trying to donate on Wed and Th. Only to be told my Iron was low. Both times. Funny, that has NEVER happened to me once in hundreds and hundreds of donotaions at OTHER places. So, I checked the app after the second deferral, and it said I was deferred until Saturday. So, why was I lied to? Twice? And to top it off the app said I had until the 21st to finish my last dono for a payment of $120. Thus completing the promotion. So I went that Saturday the 21st. Donated. Got home. I was paid $40. $40???!! Really? I TRIED to donate twice that week and wasn't allowed. After wasting HOURS of my time and $20 worth of gas going there twice for nothing. Then wasting hours of a good Saturday for $40. I won't be back. Very unprofessional behavior. And that's a shame cuz this WAS my favorite place to donate. Back to CSL it is.Initial Complaint

Biolife has not allowed me to donate. They have a permanent deferral on my account for no apparent reason due to the air of it. I'll ask you to complain before because they had to incorrect a note on my account that my doctors supplied a note saying that I had no medical conditions that prohibit me from giving plasma. They refuse to correct it instead. They put a permanent firm into the fact that I logic complaint which is totally illegal to do.Initial Complaint

Today February 20, 2024, my girlfriend ***************************** went to go donate plasma and while she was there her blood pressure bottomed out. While this was all happening, the vein that these "nurses" put the iv in collapsed and caused her to spray blood all over the floor. Her blood pressure bottomed out to 60/55, multiple people sitting next her tried to get the attendants attention but the cries for help were ignored. When she came back to consciousness, the site director came over and immediately tried to have her sign paperwork without giving her an opportunity to read or explain it to her. All the while the man sitting next to her was trying to help explain everything to her but the site director seemed like he was trying to keep the man quiet. They ended up giving her 3 bags of saline and making her eat 8 packs of gummy snacks and then just sent her on her way as if nothing happened. Then they proceeded to tell her that if she has to seek medical attention tonight to let them know, they did not attempt to further help her in anyway.Initial Complaint

This has been the second time I have come to this facility & have been denied service due to the staff turning me away for no reason other than they did not want to spend the time taking a donation. The first time, I was one of the last patients they had, never have I ever been low on iron & that **** because they wanted to go home already, they said I was ONE point under for hemoglobin. I work in a hospital & checked it that same **** *** was well **************. To**** I had an appointment at 1500. At their closing time. If they did not want to help the last appointments they should not allow people to schedule appointments at that time. I arrived at the door at 1501. The employees saw me and didnt bother to acknowledge me until a previous donor walked out & let me in. By this time they said a supervisor would come out to talk to me. She had me waiting 10 minutes before coming to talk to me & say I was 10minutes late. ****** said she didnt know why they didnt let me in but she could not attend me anymore because by this time its 1512. If they are trying to avoid taking people in because its the last appointment of the day then they should not allow the appointment to be scheduled. I have been donating here for almost a ********* always happens when its the last appointment. Aside from turning away a donation to HELP other people in NEED, they do things intentionally to keep the last appointment out. I hope to never see ****** again. May she get the day she deserves. Would never recommend this place to anyone ever again. I spent gas that I didnt have to come here to donate and to get the extra money. Now its just wasted gas & empty pockets. Shame on them.Initial Complaint

I have experienced bias as a donor at BioLife because I had questions, every visit there after my account is being flagged to ***************. The last visit I bleed out after the needle was removed from my arm and the blood pressure cuff still compressed. The reason it was still compressed as the technician sated there was an air bubble in my line, which was causing my blood pressure cuff to continue compression. Once she removed the needle, and paced gauze on the site she never took the ** cuff off. I took it off. So, I'm called to management because I bleed out, I even had to wipe my own blood off the floor. I didn't have to, but I found it necessary for public safety to do so. So, going into the office with _____, I was counseled regarding the incident because I removed my cuff. I WAS BLEEDING OUT. again....After finishing the donation, I told the technician that the cuff was still applying pressure to my arm. She then told me I may have a air bubble in my line. She removed the needle, applied gauze, the cuff still applying pressure, I bleed through the gauze. At that point I took the ** cuff off. She began to wrap my arm, I had to tell her too change the gauze cause it had bleed through. She then applied two gauze pads and wrapped my arm. As I was leaving, I bleed on the floor at the front door. I stated I needed help. I. Was then directed to a trash receptacle hole and was told to hold my arm over that. Then I was left to my own devices. I had to flag a tech down to help me. He did help however I had to pull my arm out of shirt half my upper body now exposed I asked for a complimentary shirt because mine was blood soaked and of course nothing of that sort was available. As I was walking out the front door I saw my own blood STILL on the floor. I took the liberty of cleaning my own blood as your front desk personnel telling me, "I will get to it". That's not good enough and negligent to public safety and negligent of OSHA standards. **************************, BS, ******
