Horrible customer service and no management skills to run the place. Terrible nurses who don't know how to comprehend basic customer service skills to welcome new donors to their establishment.

This place is a joke, and if you look further into the company you will find tons if bad reviews. Bad reviews about this company providing their customers/clients with incorrect test results, contradicting test results on the same documents, poor management, absolutely horrible communication skills, they punish their customers/clients because they don't order enough supplies, they punish their customers/clients for trying to get answers from the staff that they were told to speak to. It is just absolutely ridiculous how this company or at least this location handles things. I for one won't tolerate it and am going to try to get to where others don't have to tolerate it either. The only good thing I can say about this location is that all staff other than the managers that I have come into contact with are very friendly and I was enjoying going there. This has been the only time I have ever attempted to donate, I chose to do for reasons other than getting extra money. But now due to them incorrectly filling out paper work, sending it to me, and then them refusing to give me any type of explanation or answers (which is not the proper way to run a business) it has become a mess and has made me never want to donate again. DSHS is who anyone needs to contact if they want to file a complaint as the managers at this location refuse to give you information on how to contact anyone above them to be able to get accurate information.

Dirty plasma donation centers. The technicians who handle blood and vitals for donors do not change their gloves between patients. I brought it to the managers attention and he said it was the technicians discretion to change their gloves. I said that wasn't hygienic and I was told to leave and banned from donating. I would never donate in a dirty environment such as Biolife plasma.

This complaint is regarding the BioLife located in ****************. The experience was physically and emotionally uncomfortable. From the onset finger-prick blood sample to the actual needle insertion for the donation. Nothing was executed professionally. It felt as if no one was trained. The staff member asked me if it was a hematoma? Given that I have no medical training, I told her I wasn't sure if I have a hematoma but the insertion was painful. She acted frustrated, didn't tell me what the next step was or talk to me at all, left the needle in and moved to a different donor next to me. When a different staff member came to address the hematoma and insert the needle in my other arm, they talked about me openly having an attitude. The original staff member who caused the hematoma removed the needle after the donation so aggressively, it was painful. I have also donated in *********** and Villa Park. Both locations were professional, clean, kind, calm. It was a normal experience. ********************** was unorganized, it was not clean, the staff were blatantly rude and most disturbing: seemed unfit to be performing the job that they are tasked with. It might be lack of training, being new to the job or not caring. The staff made it an uncomfortable experience at ****************.

I recently had an unfortunate donation experience at Biolife Plasma in *******, **. The attendant was incredibly aloof and not paying attention, while running through the prep process very swiftly; this left me feeling very uncomfortable with the attendant and the service I was receiving. Within minutes of the attendant walking away, the tube popped from my arm and blood was spewed all over myself and the chair. Having to call for help, the attendant responded in a frustrated and rude manner, remarking that I was "done for the day", furthering my feelings of anxiety and discomfort. I was left to sit in the chair with blood all around me for 10 minutes while the attendant cleaned my arm and a nurse responded unhurriedly to the incident. This incident could have been a random occurrence, but this is not my first time experiencing the inattentiveness of Biolife staff. My arms have reacted painfully with bruising prior to this experience, and now with this incident, it has reacted again. I plan to go to urgent care to make sure everything is okay, due to having no explanation from Biolife staff of what happened and the affects of this incident. Overall, I would say Biolife is an unsafe and concerning place for donations, and I would not recommend their services, nor will I return for donations.

Jan19,2024, at 7:25am I had an appointment. It took too long i was almost 30 minutes in bed without having the needle injected to start the donation and it was already 8:35am. I had to leave for another appointment since the donation was already gonna take too long. I asked if i can reschedule for today a few hours later. The doctor told me no cause there are no spots available. I had to come in Tomorrow Saturday, I told him I cant due to having another appointment with them for another donation on Sunday. Its a 24 hour window in which wont let me donate. So he answers with attitude "So you donating now or not." Disrespectful first of all, didnt even try to provide a solution so I left. After my other appointment finished early i checked on the biolife app if I could even reschedule by miracle. It did let me reschedule and there were more than 12 spots available for plasma donation. I took the earliest at 10:55am and arrived a bit early to ask a few questions, why I was told there was no spots available, etc, etc. Now the excuse is even though nobody told me that before I left. That if I left, I cant do another blood donation due to their policies and the **** Again... it is ridiculous and a waste of time to be rude and unclear to y'all donators. Infuriated that instead of saying the correct information I had to drive from faraway twice for this kind of treatment. The ladies took their time at least to explain. That Doctor though horrible. Waste of time. What ****** me off the most, why does it let us reschedule again for the same day, if y'all wont let us do it anyways. FIXED THIS! Now i cant complete my weekly donations. Thanks for nothing.

Still have not been fully compensated after making my donation yesterday. Staff refuses to take my phone calls and gives me phone numbers to nowhere.

January 3, 2024 I was deferred because a staff member keyed in the wrong numbers with my vitals. I was threatened to be deferred because I disputed the matter. January 4, 2024 I was deferred so cold because of my vitals. Two different techs keyed in two different numbers I was told that my iron was too low. When I asked for a manager by Erica, I was told that if I didn’t leave now that I would be permanently deferred until I kept compromise, and spoke with a manager to finally speak to a higher manager that even said that that’s odd that it’s two different numbers. The whole intentions is to do for me to not compensate me.

I would say assistant manager ***************************** customer service skills were poor but that'd be an understatement. I was notified at the time of my scheduled appointment at 11:45 am that I was in need of a physical and they had an opening at 1:10 pm. I said great I'll take it. I understand appointments never really start on time so I was patient and waited. When 2:30 pm hit I felt I needed to speak up. Turns out I was totally skipped over. I know this because I personally looked at the sign in sheet and saw numerous names crossed out and those people were in beds. When I brought it to her attention she gave me an attitude and made me feel as if I was in the wrong for feeling ***et and frustrated. She chose to back up her staff and convince me I was the problem for questioning the process. She was short tempered and extremely unprofessional. After voicing my concerns I expressed I didn't want to speak to her anymore I would like to get my physical, donate, and get out of there. After multiple s**** *** on their end you'd assume she'd want to write their wrongs, get me taken care of and out of there but nope instead she told me no she's not having any of her nurses give me a physical and told me I needed to leave. Instead of using empathy and hearing me out she chose to flex her power. ************************* showed me a new low in customer service.

Absolutely the worst place to try to donate your blood. A minimum wait of 6-4 hours for a normal donation without a physical. Staff extremely rude and unkept, they dont care about their appearance or hygiene which is extremely gross when they are sticking you with needles. Your employees shouldnt look like they just woke up from an allnight ******. Staff walking all around you with tubes/hoses of blood tossing them into bins right by you. Absolutely disgusting and unsafe. How this place is even allowed to operate is beyond me.
