Most of the staff is very friendly. Recently, I was told that I could not use another coupon without having management approval or I would be deferred forever. This seems insane. What are coupons for? The coupon I used was for ***** bonus if completed 2 draws. It said it was valid for coupon holder, but I was told by them that it needed to have my name on it. Imagine every coupon that a person uses, whether grocery, gas, clothing, etc., having ti have their name on it. Sad for ****************!

Only plasma center that makes you have an appointment. You would think by having an appointment, you wouldn't have to wait so long. NOT TRUE. Their appointments are every 5 minutes. Why? They should be every 15 minutes so you don't have to wait so long. Expect to be in line for one hour just to be checked in. Then another 1/2 hour to get poked. Expect at least a 2 to 2.5 hour visit. Other centers are walk-ins and you can be out in 1.5 hours.

I had a great first donation. The second donation the lady over stuck me, and played with the needle for a few pokes. Re-adjust it for tens second twice. It was horrible. Even for that short amount of time. It hurt thru out the process and I had light nerve damage. The following week I went to another center and I had a reaction. I didnt sleep very much the night before and I guys I had really bad tachycardia and I thought I was one of those people that could die. The lady freaked out , I was like oh no Im one of them, she mentioned my face was pale. They had ice packs my heart rate went back down but I couldnt drink caffeine for a week. I came back again trying to finish my 800$ donations for the first month. I didnt have a reaction it was a nice poke no issues ******** went again had no issues, came back the following week holding myself the best I could during trying to prevent a reaction but the machine kept going off. I didnt have to disconnect and finished the donation. I realized every third donation in a row I have this heart thing with the tachycardia they told me it was just anxiety so I was like ok. Its just anxiety not a citrate reaction but upon realization I do get a citrate reaction not everytime but I do. I tried taking calcium on the following week. It worked I didnt have a reaction but it may have been just because it wasnt my third donation it was the second donation after a one donation break. So on my third donation after trying the calcium and it working I tried calcium again, I had low blood pressure and the machine was going off but no one was coming by so I said something. The lady said dont say hey in the middle like that it will worry someone. So then she adjust the needle. Stabbing it into my arm. She missed my vein. She pumped my blood into my arm and it got swollen from not going into my vein and is now a bruise and a bump. She switched arms poked around I got my blood back. They didnt slap the saline bag and it had bubbles.??

Very bad organization. Be careful with her. Donated blood several times. As a result, they refused to continue accepting my blood because I dont know English. I think this is humiliation and discrimination.

The only reason why I donate here is because they have one of the best workers name destiny no matter what she makes the visit better and the rest of the time go by fast with a great stick it's just the rest of the process that will have you heard for the door

On Friday 10/13/23 My Tablet was Stolen from the Bio Life Plasma Center in ****** on ****** Ave. It is a ** G *** X2 8.0 Plus which had the Speaker Pack on it. It had a Large Crack Across the Screen towards the top that went from the Left to Center/Right side of it. I unfortunately put it down and got Distracted/Sidetracked. By the time I noticed it was no longer in my posession I had told the center staff but they were not very helpful to me in my time of need. I used the find my device app from my phone to sound the *************** had it kept Turing the sound off according to the app. Then they also must have turned the device off because it was no longer registering online with data and stopped showing me battery percentage. I did file a police report with ****** police on Friday night but I don't know if that is gonna do much good. The plasma place did say that after reviewing the camera that they didn't see it? Which I have my doubts because I am pretty positive that I know every spot where I was & had set it down while waiting there. Please be more careful with your personal belongings and keep a eye on your stuff when out in public. If someone sees this and maybe saw it that night or knows its whereabouts I just want it returned to Biolife ************* No Questions Asked. Also any thoughts to make the Plasma Center look at there security cameras better? Maybe if I tell them everywhere I was in the building or where I think I may have left it? I am just in shock that someone would steal a 6 to 7 year old tablet that was in rough shape and had a cracked screen. Even if I put it down or was care less taking something that doesn't belong to you is still theft. ????????

I went to this Biolife to give plasma, as they had a pretty sweet deal. I got there, and the phlebotomist could NOT find my veins. She struggled so hard, which is a red flag. She tried one arm, and did it on my outermost vein, but kept pulling it out and pushing it back in. Then, they couldn't figure out how to get the blood back in, so they just switched to my other arm. There was a similar issue, with her pushing and pulling the needle in and out of my arm. At one point, one of the tubes coming from my arm needed 3 separate workers to try wrenching on it to open it or something like that. While they struggled with that, my arm was going numb and my hand was involuntarily moving and twitching, and was swelling up. Then again, they couldn't get any blood back in so they just told me to leave. Since they couldn't get blood back, it counted as just a blood donation, and I can't come back for 8 weeks. This also means I can't use their coupon which I was counting on for rent, because they can't do their job. It resulted in me getting a giant hematoma, and terrible bruising down my entire arm, so much so that it's bright purple and people are asking me if I've been abused. Overall, these people do not seem qualified to do this job, and told me that everything that happened is "completely normal".
