      I applied for auto insurance june 20th and State Farm charged me for the first months fee of 105.00. The agent even told me I qualified for the policy before I paid and everything. Almost a month went by and I got a letter in the mail saying I don’t qualify for the policy and it was cancelled. Even though the agent contacted me on July 7th asking me to send a good student transcript for a discount. They did not tell me anything about my policy being canceled. I complained and asked for a full refund from that months charge but they denied it. the policy was in effect from June 20th to July 13th. They gave mea refund of $15 was the difference from July 13th to what would have been your second payment due on July 20. This is what they owed me for the remaining 7days of coverage you paid for at the time we started the policy but I want the whole refund. This is absolutely rediculous because they shouldn’t even start charging their customers before they are approved and they qualify. The only thing they wanted was my money and now they won’t give it back to me.

      This complaint against State Farm is due to the lack of information and incorrect filling/submission to ******** ****** car on the expiration of services.
      I was in a car accident and was told by state farm that we had 50/day up to 1200 in total payments (approximate 24 days). At that time, they had no idea when the car would be inspected to be considered a total loss or if the car could be repaired. Given the auto market right now and how long it may take for parts, we took a much cheaper car at 30/day to maximize the rental car to approximate 40 days (if needed). On 7/19, in speaking with a State farm representative, they informed us that the car had no longer been paid for since 7/7 and all fees were our responsibility. I asked to speak to a manager as we had no idea or else we would have made other arrangements. I was told that there was "no use in speaking to a manager as they would give me the same response". I asked how they typically notify a customer of this and they said that its "in the fine print on the settlement email." With all of the documentation, time off from work, ect.. I cannot imagine that there would not be a better way of communicating this... however, there is more to this and below speaks to the errors that they did in communicating/updating with ******** ****** car.

      after hearing this and quickly stopping by the ******** ****** car center... they were just as surprised as us stating that they had no idea this was a total loss situation. they said that they would have let us know as well but it was never communicated with them either. The manager of that rental car place stated that the way they are supposed to submit this claim to them was filed incorrectly. He even printed out the entire communication log from State farm which I am happy to upload. The total outstanding balance is around $475. There is no way of me speaking with anyone within State farm at a higher level, I am forced to file this complaint in hopes of resolution

      Accident date May 31, 2022
      I've never been on the phone with a person so rude. ******* or ***** whoever I spoke with was so rude he told me that because I don't pay them for insurance they don't believe me and there not taking fault even hen there member was at fault with a citation. Telling me to tell my insurance to disassociate them with the claim because there not accepting claim. State Farm said whoever the person actually paying State Farm says there going to believe. When I called State Farm they said that their member had sold the car so they're not taking responsibility responsibility and I told them I need proof that the member sold the car, because the registration is still good until September 10th. The police report still has the members insurance policy number still on the car. They said it wasn't there problem.

      On 6/10/22 I Filed a Property Damage Claim # *********** with State Farm who I have had multiple Policies with for 29 years due to a Fire in the Apartment Building where I have resided for the past 11 years. State Farm has been completely unresponsive other than calling me from time to time for any updates on the status of the Apartment Building. I have been in two different Hotels Paid for by Housing Authority City of Pittsburgh since June 10th & on July 21st I requested to that State Farm provide Extended Stay Lodging to which there has also been No Response. The Claims Representative assigned to my Claim is ******* ********* & her Phone #'s are as follows ************* *************. I am a Senior with multiple Disabilities & Need more Help from State Farm who have been completely Ignorant & Non-Responsive to my Needs.

      We suffered a large fire loss, and it has been 2 1/2 weeks and we had NO contact from State Farm, who is the carrier for the neighbor that accidentally started the fire (by burning weeds). By his negligence, we had a total loss to our fence, carport, garage, vehicle, two motorcycles, golf cart, as well as many many high priced items. We are having our own personal insurance companies handle, with high hopes that we will be made whole through the subrogation process. Upon calling State Farm today, I was told "it takes time", and "you'll only get ACV for this loss". I would like the BBB to push State Farm to get us fair compensation for a devastating loss. They are obviously dragging their feet, meanwhile we have a burnt structure and no money to handle the simple debris removal. Please help us! Thank you.

      -7/1: Electronic payment in the amount of $450 made to auto loan account #**************, loan is in the name of ***** ******, my fiancee'. Payment in this amount has been made monthly my electronic payment from my ******* checking account ending in **** for approx. 3 years.
      -7/3: I receive an email from State Farm informing me that my bill is available for the auto insurance policy #*** ************, in my name, which is in no way associated with ***** ****** or her auto loan. I sent an email to my agent to request that this misapplied payment be credited to ******* auto loan on 7/5 following the holiday.
      -7/5: My agaent, ****** ****** emails me to verify the issue.
      -7/6: ****** emailed me to inform that he spoke w/ customer service and that they will not correct the error, but can send a refund check which will take 7-10 business days to generate and mail. I replied asking for a number to speak with customer service personally. ****** replied that he called again & spoke w/ someone who will process the transfer of funds as I requested.
      -7/14: I emailed ****** to inform that no change had occurred and asked him to inquire.
      -7/15: ****** emailed me to say he had spoken with CS, verified that a ticket number for his request was generated on 7/6: ********, and a second ticket#, ********, was just generated to to expedite the processing of the accounting correction.
      -7/20: I received a call from underwriter ****** ****** to inform me that they will not correct their accounting error, but can mail a refund check. I informed her that this is unacceptable and terminated the call.
      -7/22: ****** ****** emailed me to inform that despite my insistence that State Farm correct the accounting error, they would be mailing a refund check, requiring more of my time to follow up on.

      I will consider this issue resolved ONLY upon A) acknowledgement of error in accounting on the part of State Farm, and B) receiving a plausible explanation as why this accounting error occurred.

      My vehicle was sideswiped on freeway on 4/06/2022. State Farm recommend shop they work with to do the repair because original shop penske automotive was behind due to covid. Shop State Farm recommend failed to repair and made more damage on top of the damage from accident. I notified State Farm, the agreed as well poor work was done and additional damages was caused. They then tell me to pick whatever shop i want so I pick penske automotive because by now they do have time to repair vehicle. I take the vehicle down to get inspection done and they tell me they charge too much but not in those words. I then find out State Farm has a bad relationship with this company and i am stuck on n the middle. I have tried at least 4 times to speak to claim adjuster supervisor and i get no response. Ever since State Farm spoke to repair shop they no longer want to touch the vehicle. I waited 3 weeks for claim adjuster to come out and she Still does not have what it would cost to fix repairs/autonation caused.

      I have not heard from claim adjuster supervisor telling me what is going on. I am still waiting for estimate from adjuster that came out to the house to look at damages auto nation caused and provide me with how much is the estimate to correct?Also I have provided estimate of my own from Lexus collision center, and i am still waiting to see how much State Farm is going to cover?

      Absolute disaster with State Farm insurance. I really don't understand how they operate or work but I have been given the run around to replace a windshield between state farm, transfering me to a third party company and they not being of much help and asking me to call everyone from State Farm to ***** (some third party company) and ******** **** ***** who is going to replace the glass. Every time I call I am told by the third party company, they are waiting for a state farm approval. I am like " i am talking to State farm" and they tell me no you are only talking to ***** which handles glass only claims for state farm. I am so lost and confused as I don't know who handles my claim with state farm. Then I call ******** **** *****, the repair company and they tell me to call State farm as they don't even have the claim information. As a customer I am going around in circles all over the place! All those fancy ads on tv with ******* ****** and ***** ****** doesn't work for a normal customer!! I am no ***** ******* but I am hoping I get treated the same way as in the Ad and not given the run around that I am getting for a simple glass only claim.

      I am not satisfied with this response as I really don’t want to talk to some third party company. I wanted State Farm executive relationship fo call me so I can call and express my concern on how the process is broken not start with the same third party company again!!!!

      Had a severe storm and lightning struck frying our camper and truck. We are stuck in Arkansas in 108 degree weather with no vehicle and no AC in our camper. Going on day 5 now with no resolution and the same promises being made daily; that we will have a tow truck and our camper will be repaired. This is a life or death situation in this heat and no one cares. No one will give me a contact person to talk to or properly escalate the issue. This is a true emergency
