      I was with this company for 20+ yrs with VERY minimal payouts. I had 1 year I had multiple not at fault claims and they not only charged me close to $700/mon they also dropped me after telling me they could cover me.
      Stay far away from this company. They will drop you if you have to actually use your insurance coverage, but are more then happy to take your money.

      State Farm Insurance Review – Beware of Hidden Fees and Unjust Billing
      I purchased a business insurance policy from State Farm for my patio door replacement company and paid in full upfront. However, I soon discovered that adding an additional insured would cost me an extra $100 per customer. If I had 10+ customers needing this, that would mean an additional $1,000—an excessive and unexpected cost.
      Due to this, I decided to cancel my policy. Despite having paid in full, State Farm now claims I owe them $576.72, which makes absolutely no sense. To make matters worse, they sent this bogus charge to collections through a company called R********* ********** ******** **** I refuse to pay for something I don’t owe.
      This experience has been frustrating, and I strongly advise business owners to be cautious when dealing with State Farm. Their lack of transparency, surprise fees, and unjust billing practices make them a risky choice for insurance coverage. If you’re looking for reliability and honesty, look elsewhere.

      I would give state farm a negative star if possible.
      Warning to anyone using State Farm Insurance - Do not use the preferred shop for your first estimate. This is a deceptive practice by State Farm to get an extremely low estimate.
      It has taken State Farm 6 weeks to resolve this claim. In the end they want to repair my car using bondo vs replacing a badly damaged liftgate.
      DO NOT USE STATE FARM PREFERRED SHOPS
      DO NOT TRUST STATE FARM WITH YOUR INSURANCE NEEDS
      STATE FARM IS NOT A GOOD NEIGHBOR - THEY ARE THE WORST NEIGHBOR YOU CAN IMAGINE.

      I will never have State Farm insurance again. I have had so many problems with them. First of them is one of their agents sold me a renters policy that I found out after paying them for three months for, was told by them that I would not be covered because I lived in a camper when they asked me about that before they ever sold the policy to me. Secondly and just recently, they made a mistake and made a payout on a claim that I made for an accident with one of their drivers when they shouldn’t have paid out due to a state doctrine that they said made each driver responsible for their own damage 50/50. I verified what they said with insurance commission, they told me this AFTER I had already accepted and had the payout cashed out and was about to repair damages. At first they were going to let me keep the money and take their losses, but, they ended up asking for the money back at the end of all of it and because of their mistake I incurred the cost of sending the check in the mail because they offered no other options to send the money back and told me if they didn’t receive it they would turn it over to collections. Such an outrage. Very corrupt on their part in my opinion

      If I could do less than 1star I would. I have a long history with them and no where close to a positive one. If the were not denying clams for family members they were screwing me over. The latest is one of their clients hits me. They drug their feet in getting me information so that I could get the car fixed. When I finally got it into a shop, it was discovered the car had to be totaled. A week went by before they made me aware of it, then were snapping their fingers to surrender the title, and to return the rental. All of this done right before the weekend and wanted all of the above done by Monday. They are a horrible insurance company. They truly fit the saying, Insurance, nothing but legalized-organized-Crime.

      I've had state farm over 10 years and when I filed a claim they said my building wasn't covered. THEY SUCK

      We have had State Farm for over 40 years. This last summer we had to file claims for wind damage to our roof and gutters. The only settled to pay for replacement of 1/2 of the roof and 1/2 of the gutters. We had to pay for the other half. Now we have received a letter telling us they are dropping our coverage. I would suggest they are not a good neighbor.

      These guys are the worst! they never pay any claims that their horrible drivers cause. I was side swiped by one of their clients and all they did was deny, deny and deny. Now I know how they can afford all those star athletes on their commercials. Horrible company and customer service all through out. If Michael M*******, TyJuana or Precious answers the phone you are in big trouble. What a circus.

      My truck was hit, while parked, sitting in front of my house, by an elderly lady, courtesy of a mechanical failure that was not her fault. While polite, State Farm grossly undervalued my truck, despite my objections, and despite me having receipts over the last two years for work that totaled more than they offered, FOR THE ENTIRE TRUCK. The damage was minimal, but the repair paint work pushed to "total loss" I submitted request to have it revaluated with all the receipts, and they proceeded to credit .10 on the dollar, for an adjustment of 777.00 dollars. This was not a garden variety truck, yet treated as if the truck was a junk scrapper special. It is pathetic that the average person has no recourse. Ultimately, I vote with my dollars. I am actively leaving ***, and searching for new insurance. My 8 car, 6 driver family + home owner's insurance will not be going to State Farm. Had they had the decency to handle my claim with any integrity, they could have seen 10K a year in car insurance premiums, plus my home owners policy. They lost 10k-12K to save themselves 3K. If I had stock in a corporation of this nature, I would be furious that they are missing out on sales because of their inability to see the long term potential of a customer.
