I’ve been beyond frustrated with State Farm’s handling of my claim. It’s been over six weeks, and still, no updates. Despite countless emails, endless phone calls, and even multiple attempts from my contractor to get in touch with them, it feels like I’m just being ignored. Every time I reach out, I’m met with silence or vague responses, and there’s zero transparency. The lack of communication is appalling. I honestly expected better from such a well-known company, but all they’ve done is waste my time and leave me in limbo. If you value customer service and timely resolution, look elsewhere. State Farm has been a huge disappointment.

The communication from this office is horrific! to this day 03/20/2025 I’m waiting on a follow up call Ms. Carla to verify if the State Farm insurance appraiser was in fact a real person or if the voice mail was a scam. Made that call late February. Ms. Tamika has never followed up, well
ONCE after I had call the office about five times with the fema/ flood situation. Then to add insult to injury Statefarm is attempting another scam to increase its homeowners insurance policies.
I paid out of pocket to get my roof repaired. The damage was from squirrels and raccoons damaging the roof next door. The house had been vacated and abandoned. Again I paid OUT OF POCKET. I did not call and update Statefarm. Apparently, the call was real, someone came out, I was not home, (at work). I received a letter yesterday, dated 03/12/2025, stating “To reduce the risk of additional damage to the roof and/or interior water damage, the roof on the outbuilding must be repaired as evidenced by the detached and missing composition shingles have a roofing contractor complete the work.”
I called State Farm this morning and asked about this issue. I was told that I should have called and updated State Farm about my roof being new. If someone came out and evaluated my property, shouldn’t they know that? I believe it’s a scam in a way for the insurance company to increase the amount you have to pay on your home owner insurance policy.
The least this office could do is have proper communication as they demand if it was my responsibility to report my out-of-pocket paid expense to my insurance company then it should be this office duty and responsibility to at least return a follow up call.
Before you ask, did I send an email about this or is there some form of correspondence about not properly being followed up with? Yes I still have the emails. Did I ever get a response to those email? No. Sincerely, as of today I’m back with U*** Have a good day. The office is owned by Tenyiah Summons

Anyone have any issues with Nathan Thomas State Farm Insurance, Wildwood, FL? Been a customer for 10 plus years. I cancelled a vehicle from my insurance policy on 2-06-25 with employee Jazmine (daughter got married) and they are still charging me? Called on 02-27-25 spoke with Jazmine again to let her know the car is still not removed AND I took my other vehicles to P********** ****** because of this situation (Saved 200 bucks too). So now I had all 3 of them cancelled. Well today I noticed they still charged my card on 03-01-25 for the first cancelled car! Had to call again, spoke with Jazmine and had to ask for a higher up and supervisor was no help. Supervisor also verified that they have no way to keep track if the insurance is actually cancelled. What kind of professionals are working there? I do not recommend State Farm.

Don’t even know where to start. Just awful. They do not want to pay for the new parts the dealership installed. Dealership has given me a loaner for over a month now, Statefarm doesn’t have to pay for a rental with this being the case. They want to install a headlight on my Range Rover that is more than three times less in price than the OEM part that the dealership installed. At this point I’m fine with the refurbished part. Only responses I receive is when I call them for an update. Vehicle has been fixed over two weeks ago. I am in the middle of a dispute over which parts were to be used. They haven’t been clear on anything. It should not be this difficult for me to get my vehicle back. They have zero problems receiving my insurance payment over the past years! Just frustrating, feel completely let down.

?? WARNING: State Farm is a SCAM! ??
State Farm spends millions on flashy commercials with Patrick M******, Jake from State Farm, and other high-profile celebrities to convince you they’re “like a good neighbor”—but when you actually need them? They ghost you.
I filed a legitimate claim nearly a YEAR ago, and State Farm ignored me for months. Calls? No response. Emails? Ignored. It took intervention from the NC Department of Insurance just to get them to acknowledge the claim. When they finally paid, we started repairs—only to find more vandalism from the same incident that was overlooked. We submitted all the necessary proof and documentation, and guess what? They went radio silent AGAIN.
Meanwhile, the house is UNINHABITABLE because of the damage, and nothing can move forward until they do their job. But they’ll gladly take your premiums every month!
So, @P************* @***************** @***** @************** @********* @StateFarm—where’s that “good neighbor” energy when real people need help? You’re not selling insurance, you’re selling lies.
If you’re considering State Farm, RUN. They’ll gladly take your money, but when it’s time to pay up, they disappear.
?? If you’ve been screwed over by State Farm, DROP YOUR STORY BELOW. Let’s make sure people know the truth. ??

Honestly, they don't deserve 1 star. I have had this insurance for 25 years and when push come to shove, they will not cover your issue. More specifically, my roof after Hurricane Milton, came up with every excuse to not cover damages. Ended up only giving me a tiny portion to cover a new roof and the price was 3 times more...out of my own pocket. When additional damage was discovered, they "ducked and dodged" me...avoided me like the plague. It took 2 months for them to even call me back and then came up with every excuse NOT to give any additional money to me. I would not recommend using State Farm. They are expensive and definitely not a "Good Neighbor:.

After over 7 years with our previous insurance provider, we switched only 2 cars to State Farm in January 2025.. We were told by Ethan A******* (Jason Condon Agent in MI) after questioning the quote provided by him, what the amounts meant. He said " $166.02/mo without using the drive safe device where it says 'Total discount, which is $996.16/6mos. If we used the drive safe device, he monthly amount would decrease and be $117.69/mo at $706.15/6mos". So, we signed up. This is also a decrease due to both of us having Medicare, so the PIP isnt necessary. We received the change statement in the mail yesterday, March 17, 2025. The new monthly amount is $217.42. After reading the State Farm. website about the drive aafe device,, we had decided not to use the devices for the drive safe discount. The website states that if you don't drive enough miles each month it will not change your monthly amount. In other words, to trigger a discount, you mist drive a certain amount of miles. We don't drive very much, retired and only go to doctors and the grocery stores. We called the agency and explained the change and asked what caused the increase. The lady on the phone stated it was because we didn't enroll in the drive safe program. What a nightmare! Please, don't be like us, research everything! We wasted time and energy switching to them. Today, we're happy to announce we are no longer partnered with State Farm as our auto insurance provider. We contacted our previous provider and got switched back to them today. Alo, by the emails and a text from the agent, they signed up up for drive safe without us agreeing or acknowleging we did. They sent two (2) devices but we would not benefit from them. Please be aware. If you have a great provider, sometimes it's better to pay them than being suckered into something unbeknownst to you at a greater price. Are these issues why State Farm has so many job openings? Not who they used to be. Disappointed in Michigan.

Worst experience I ever had. Tree fell on power line during storm and they accused me of causing it. Half my house still has no power years later. Witnessed by neighbor, family friend, fire department and sheriff but they still say somehow I did it myself. Cut the power line to my house???? I would rate negative ten if I could.

I canceled a homeowners insurance policy with State Farm and I've never received what was left on the policy. Also, they owe me $142 that they took from my account AFTER I paid my bill in the office. I'm working on taking them to court. Maybe the like the idea of paying a lawyer thousands by the hour as opposed to paying me hundreds!
