State Farm or most insurance companies are scams that defraud people of monthly payments or even cause collisions to attain business profits. Overall, they are rather a law firm who are worst than BLM protests and destroy and cause accidents that they later claim they are not responsible for but clearly is the one that usually brakes causing 3 or people accidents in moving traffic on freeways.

We are 70 years old and we have been with State Farm almost 30 years. This loyalty translates into discounts. Addtional discounts for bundling and few to no claims. However, we learned that our years of loyalty do not count when you move to a new state. State Farm places you on a 3 year probationary period and treats you like a new customer without explaining that to you. So, if you have any claims, your previous years of loyalty do not count and your premiums for driving can triple. At 70 years old you are on a fixed income. The only logic for this practice is more money for the bottom line of State Farm. Shame on you bad neighbor!!!

Was in a car accident not caused by me. Was told to use my own insurance because the insurer did not have enough to cover me. I went to my insurance which is State Farm on April 29, 2022 and. submitted a claim which was accepted. They then set me up with a rental for 3 weeks and proceeded to loos my car for 2 months. Could not get an agent on the phone. Could not get anyone to tell me what was happening!
Finally found the car to only have it totaled 3 months later. Aug 3rd!! Sticking me with the 3 month rental and no proceeds! They were not available to us for any means of this accident!!
They have proved to be worthless to us!! It’s a shame! They are great as long as you don’t file a claim!! We’ve used them for 40 plus years!

After over 25 years of paying premiums, (over 25000) never filing a claim. I was sent a letter I never received. Demanding I replace my roof because I had a loose shingle. Limb by my garage. Demanding tree removal etc., or the will not renew…The “good neighbor “ they claim is total BS. They are targeting older homes to drop them…
As a widow this is beyond believable that a company hires 3rd party “investigators ” to pick apart a home to reduce the “chance of a claim”!
Like a bad neighbor State Farm is not there!!!

My State Farm (SF) Agent, Brendon Walker (BW) of *** ****** ** made a date error on my POI and the DMV rejected it. For 3 hours the DMV, his office and I called BW but he ignored us.
Brendon Walker DBA, Brendon Walker Agency, Brendon Walker Services, refused to correct his own date error for 90 days.
State Farm Corp, SF Underwriters and SF Security refused to correct their date error for 90 days but SF continued to take my payments for four months for services they refused to rendered.
Our country closed, the DMV suspended my registration and fined me $500 while all the lowlives above walked away without saying a word.
      OVER TWO YEARS AGO!!

If I could leave zero stars, I would. My neighbors caused damage to my property and we used Statefarm (their insurance) for a claim. It took WEEKS of communication to get a check sent. I had to miss very important dates after being told the check would be overnighted. It was late and they “resent” a new check overnight. That arrived days later. I then deposited the new check and it was deemed a chargeback since that check was voided. Communication has been repulsive, I now have a 7 day hold on the original check which I need the funds RIGHT NOW not in seven days. Getting my claim representative to even answer phone calls and emails has been a nightmare. I will never, ever use Statefarm again and I will never recommend them.

zero star if that were a choice. Have been a SF customer for decades with all property, cars, etc. bundled with them. Huge and costly mistake. An insurance company is only as good as its handling of a claim, whether small or large. Our House was completely destroyed by wildfire. Multiple agents were assigned serially to keep us confused and ready to give up. Burden of submitting claim in their convoluted manner also designed to discourage claimant (especially onerous for elderly, and organizationally and computer-challenged). Clearly SF is reluctant to fulfill its legal contractual obligation. Biggest deliberate failure on part of the company is to lie by omission about the true meaning of replacement coverage; they lie by first setting value of property well below cost to rebuild (equals lower premium) and then belatedly say that replacement is not that, but only up to dollar amount stated on policy. A double win for SF as they end up not paying out true replacement cost.
      Run away from this company.

A claims adjuster tried to have me believe that she didn't have a boss or a supervisor so that I wouldn't be able to escalate the situation, and kept talking about "reasonable time" when she didn't know where my car was, or the damages, when it had been 10 days since the accident and 3 days since she had been on the case. My mind wanders thinking about what she was doing for 3 days.

Horrible. I asked my agent about ride sharing and didn’t hear anything for a week until I got a text reminder I was past due for the remaining amount of my plan. $62. I replied back I knew that it was past due but where’s my reply regarding ride sharing. I immediately received a call and was told They’d try to reach me (no missed calls or voicemails OR TEXTS) I was told State Farm didn’t offer that (the website expresses they do FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!!!) I told her I’d be looking for other coverage & asked if I could cancel when ready she said sure. I was then texted like they cared, stating to make sure I DIDNT call it ride sharing…. Because Lyft is not ride sharing it is “for hire”. The State Farm website even calls it ride sharing. So does l****** ******. And every other agency I’ve looked into. Shouldn’t hire agents that don’t know basic insurance information and don’t want to help the customers. Horrible customer service. Don’t care about customer satisfaction AND THEY FALSELY ADVERTISE. Don’t do it.
