I visited Ulta Beauty at the *********** location on 10/26/24.1. The sales person tried to verbally strong arm me into signing up for the reward program which I declined.2. According to the sales people. Ulta does not accept returns from customers who are not enrolled in **********************'s rewards program. Yet, the receipt states otherwise.3. I was charged 0.05 for a bag I declined.Ulta carries many of my favorite products, but seems to promote internal deceptive practices. I rated this store one star for its poor customer service.ULTA Beauty

I placed an online order which was 2 bottles of Tanners and 1 small bottle on face mist. When I got my delivery it was all in one box with no wrapping. The box was beat up looking. They gave me two of the same ****** when I ordered two different colors. One ****** had no lid and the other ****** spilled all over the box. I called right away. I was speaking with **** and he said no worries we will replace your items and to throw the items I received away. That's what I did. Remind you that it's on a recorded phone line. I gave him all my information and at the very end we were disconnected. I called back, and got a different person, went thru it all again, then I was hung up on. I called back a total of three times. They hung up on me once again. I finally looked thru my email and **** sent me an email stating my reshipment was placed and I would have it 7-8days. There was a tracking number as well. Well I never received it. I emailed the co back again and I keep getting different ppl. One lady wanted pictures so I told her I do not have pictures because **** told me to throw my items away. I even asked **** on the phone do you need pictures or does this need to be shipped back, he said no on the recorded line. They lie to their customers and treat they poorly. I feel like I was scammed. They pass it to the next person and the next person. They don't take care of the actual problem. This is unacceptable to scam your customers.ULTA Beauty

Being a resident of the Tradition area, I have visited this store often. Today, I was extremely disappointed with the MANAGEMENT. We came in around the last hour, & after I looked around for a while, I realized I needed help. I was helped by a young woman named Amanda. She was extremely helpful, patient, & kind. She did her best to help me find everything I needed for my upcoming trip, although the store was closing soon. However, as she was helping me, another employee walked up to her and told her she needed to “wrap this up”. It was extremely rude, & made my family feel very uncomfortable. As I was scrambling to get my items, I was constantly rushed by the same two women, one of which claimed to be a manager. I mentioned to her, “you guys don’t play about the store closing” in a joking way, to sort of ease the tension. She responded very rudely “we sure don’t after a day like today” , and proceeded to rush me to the register. I work in a service position, so I understand how it can be. However, it’s never okay to make your PAYING customers feel like a burden. I spent over $100 here today, & I wanted to drop everything and spend my money elsewhere due to the rude employees. I only continued with my purchase because Amanda worked so hard to help me out. I ended up missing out on a few items because the team was not willing to wait more than 1 minute past closing time, which sucks. I ended up having to go to another retailer to finish up my shopping. Ulta is a favorite in my house, but after today I’m not sure we’ll use this location as our “go-to”. We can get beauty products from literally anywhere, so to avoid being treated poorly, we will just have to go elsewhere. It really hurts the company as a whole when you put people who really don’t care about your business or your customers in a position of power.ULTA Beauty

Rylee had the worst customer service I have ever experienced in this store. I placed a pick up order and was greeted with nothing but rude body language and tone. The customer experience here is horrible and I will no longer be shopping from Ulta and will be closing my credit card account. Sephora employees do it better.ULTA Beauty

I’ve been a customer for 15 years and always loved ulta. So much so that I opened a credit card with them to use for years. I’ve always been diamond through out the years and enjoyed buying Christmas gifts. This past year I’ve had a lot of issues with ulta, from lost packages, to no gwp even tho I paid for them, to here’s 5 bucks but the worse has been with their customer service. In the past month I had over $300 dollars worth of points that I was going to use for my next big purchase. When I came back few days later to use it I noticed my points were at $211 I was confused thinking maybe someone stole my points but noticed no purchases were made. I contacted them multiple times with just run arounds telling me they made a mistake in the points system and that’s all the explanation they’re willing to give. I want my moment back I want my points back this is outright thievery! This company is becoming a joke and a scam. I will be returning my orders and closing my credit card and taking my business happily somewhere else.ULTA Beauty

I am appalled by the disgraceful and blatantly racist behavior I experienced at your Columbus, GA location (5550 Whittlesey Blvd) on October 15, 2024, between 5:00-5:45 PM. My husband and I were shopping—he for cologne and I for skincare/makeup—when an associate named Anya rudely approached him as soon as he entered the cologne section with a condescending “Can I help you?” She then proceeded to stalk him, monitoring his every move. This was racial profiling, plain and simple.
My husband, who had just returned home today after working on the road for three weeks straight, informed me she was eyeing him the entire time. He was home for his birthday, and the cologne was meant to be one of his gifts. She deliberately walked past us multiple times, glaring. It was humiliating and infuriating. When we moved to the counter, Anya completely ignored my husband when he tried to get her attention. Another associate eventually assisted us, and when I confronted Anya, she flat-out lied, despite another associate confirming she saw Anya looking directly at us. Her behavior was unapologetic and shameful. When I mentioned contacting corporate, she arrogantly responded, “Go ahead,” as if she knew nothing would be done.
What she didn’t realize was that I had my Ray-Ban smart glasses recording the entire incident. I was there to film content for an Ulta Haul video, but Anya’s disgusting behavior ruined my experience and cost Ulta a significant sale. I have been a Diamond member and Ulta cardholder for five years, and this is how I’m treated? I’ve spent thousands with Ulta, but if this is the service you condone, I’ll gladly take my business elsewhere.
I strongly suggest Anya undergo immediate diversity and customer service training. If this matter isn’t addressed seriously, I will escalate further and publicly expose the racist behavior tolerated at your Columbus, GA, location.ULTA Beauty

I purchased a LANCOME Teint Idole Ultra Wear 24H Full Coverage Foundation SKU #2608003, Color: 100W in 08/03/24. Then I picked it up at South Bay Expansion, 32 District Avenue, Dorchester, MA 02125. However, the expiration date of this product is October 2024. This is a deception that Ulta Beauty is selling some products that will expire in 2 months. Under normal circumstances, the shelf life of a product should be at least one to two years. Although Ulta Beauty has refunded me the money for this product, I still want to warn Ulta Beauty not to deceive consumers and sell substandard products.ULTA Beauty

Our policy clearly outlines procedures on cataloguing and properly disposing of any product that is or is about expired in all of our stores. You can always return a product for any reason and certainly if it appears expired or soon to be expired. With that said, we are happy to hear you were able to be refunded for this item. I would give a minus 1000 star rating if I could . This ulta store double charged my daughter’s debit card and WILL NOT RETURN THE MONEY. This has been going on since Sept. 27th. Emails and phones calls. Calls drop and customer service just routes you all over the place and keeps asking for more time to review. This is 143.00 which is no small amount to loose. DO NOT SHOP AT THIS CRIMINAL STORE. And if you must, use cash.ULTA Beauty

I will never shop at Ulta again. I went shopping and spent about $300 and they convinced me to get a credit card. Great!!! I never received my card in the mail and I never received my first statement. I decided to call them and it's been over a month so now there's a late fee. I stated I couldn't pay online because I never received a card to register online. It seems they did not have my apartment number in their records. I made a $300 phone payment and asked for credit for the late fee because it wasn't my fault. They gave me less than half credit, but I'll take it! They said I would have to call back to request a card because my account is not current. Well, I do not shop at Ulta regularly so I still haven't asked for the card but you would think I would get my statement as a reminder. Well, I just got my first statement with a $37 late fee and a $15 late debit fee (whatever that means). I called again to say I have not received my card so I can't pay online and what are these fees about? Instead of explaining I get, "We already gave you a courtesy credit for late fees, so we can't do it again". This is beyond ridiculous when it's not my fault you didn't send me a statement until now. Needless to say, once I get that card, I will register, pay my balance, and never shop there again! They can't reverse some fees that are not in my control but have the nerve to charge two late fees, one of which I don't even know what a late debit fee is, and have the nerve to charge about 44% interest. They should be ashamed of themselves. Looking at the other reviews I see I am not the only one with issues to them.ULTA Beauty

I recently got hacked about four months back, filed a complaint and gotten it taken care of after all proof was given on my end. I was CLEARED of no wrong doing and was returned my account or so I thought. Fast forward to few months later. I try and place an online order and use my points that Ive been saving months to purchase myself a birthday gift and I cannot place an order mind you Im trying to place the order with the ULTA credit card. I contact customer service they say try again in a few days I do so but with a different card just in case and I run into the same issue. Contact customer service once again and they escalate the issue. I get a bleak email from ULTA saying that I am banned from ordering online and my account is flagged basically. Even after I proved that I got hacked, and got my account back the issue wasnt resolved because Im still dealing with this months later. I didnt DECIDE to get hacked Ulta. Your company is supposed to protect its customers privacy so why am I, THE CUSTOMER, being punished for it??!!!ULTA Beauty
