Something changed on my account where my credit card wasn't working to purchase items. I spoke to 6 different people who couldn't help me and was ping-ponged to ************* several times as well. I even suggested sending me a new credit card thinking that would resolve the issue, but still persisted. I advised multiple times they told me it's not a credit card issue, but Ulta **** still couldn't help me. Without being able to buy anything with my card and with the horrible customer support I've received to try to rectify the issue, I'm no longer shopping at Ulta. I've been using Ulta for years and have never changed anything to my account, so this is clearly a company issue.ULTA Beauty

Ulta charged my debit card for $71.49 on 10/19/24. The amount immediately was withdrawn from my bank account, but *** at ********************** (and her manager) said due to a technical issue on their end, it did not process on their end, so the transaction did not go through, but also could not be refunded to me. I was not given a receipt since they said the transaction did not go through on their end. As of today, 11/12/24, this amount has still not been refunded to my bank account. My bank is requiring me to file a dispute because **** requires additional information, but I cannot reach a live person at this Ulta store to get the additional details I need. I live in ******** and was visiting ********* when I went to this location (#***). This is absolute THEFT of my money. I will never shop at an Ulta again or recommend the store again. I have been a loyal customer for many years.ULTA Beauty

I strongly advise against booking with ***** ****************r. My teenage daughter scheduled a 3 p.m. appointment on November 10th for a dye, cut, and blow-dry. ***** arrived 45 minutes late b/c she was having a conversation with another person, only dyed her hair, and then told her to leave without finishing the cut or blow-dry, yet charged her the full price. She took advantage of a young customer and left her in tears. I spoke with the store manager, Iza, who said I would need to wait until tomorrow for any resolution. This experience has been deeply upsetting.ULTA Beauty

Yesterday, I texted the Ulta help line to modify an online order. I spoke with ******, who stated that "Here in ulta we valued our guest. And america will be great again" in his sign off. Politics has no place in how associates should conduct business with their customers, and I am extremely disappointed that this is the type of conduct allowed at Ulta.ULTA Beauty

I previously had a credit card in 2020. I closed my credit card. While at the store in August they offered me another credit card. I decided to get another credit card. I went on line in September 2024 to pay my bill and it had my old credit card on there. I called and they had a plethora of problems logging in and I was unable to pay my credit card by the 10/5/24 due date. I was charged a $30 late fee. I requested to have a $30 refund and I was unable to get a whole credit. I would like a credit for the rest of my $15. 9 out of 10 customer service **** that I spoke to were very rude. It would be nice if I could also have a gift card for the rude customer service experience that I endured while trying to get this matter handled.ULTA Beauty

Bait and Switch! First online purchase with Ulta and the Bait and Switch tactic. Said if I spend $50 then Ill get a free gift, nowhere did it say while supplies last! I spent an extra $30 to get this $50 mystery gift #4 (there was 4 options). They canceled my mystery gift after my purchase. Then offered me a $5 credit when I complained. Went to this store last night with my child. Looking to have a girls night and you would not believe the customer service I received from these women! I had some items to return and also had a basket full of products I had planned to purchase. I had my receipt with me and I also had just bought the items a few days before. When I simply asked to have the money returned to the Original account, they became disrespectful on a level IVE NEVER EVER EXPERIENCED BEFORE! My child was there so I was trying not to get confrontational however when the store MANAGER decided to make fun of my situation and humiliate me in front of my child, I decided enough was enough. I remained respectful but firm on the fact that I did not want a store gift card but I wanted my money returned to the original pay method. She then decided once all the customers were gone to then get loud with me. When I told her I was going to report this incident she then wanted to wait until the end of my return to try and make it sound like nothing happened, I WILL BE CALLING CORPORATE AND I WILL BE GIVING NAMES and NO I WILL NOT BE SHOPPING AT THIS LOCATION AGAIN! I made one and only purchase on Ulta app and they automatically saved my credit card information under my "loyalty rewards" account without my consent. There is not a single option anywhere on my account to delete this personal information. I reached out to customer service and they are refusing to resolve this in any way.ULTA Beauty

I visited Ulta Beauty at the *********** location on 10/26/24.1. The sales person tried to verbally strong arm me into signing up for the reward program which I declined.2. According to the sales people. Ulta does not accept returns from customers who are not enrolled in **********************'s rewards program. Yet, the receipt states otherwise.3. I was charged 0.05 for a bag I declined.Ulta carries many of my favorite products, but seems to promote internal deceptive practices. I placed an online order which was 2 bottles of Tanners and 1 small bottle on face mist. When I got my delivery it was all in one box with no wrapping. The box was beat up looking. They gave me two of the same ****** when I ordered two different colors. One ****** had no lid and the other ****** spilled all over the box. I called right away. I was speaking with **** and he said no worries we will replace your items and to throw the items I received away. That's what I did. Remind you that it's on a recorded phone line. I gave him all my information and at the very end we were disconnected. I called back, and got a different person, went thru it all again, then I was hung up on. I called back a total of three times. They hung up on me once again. I finally looked thru my email and **** sent me an email stating my reshipment was placed and I would have it 7-8days. There was a tracking number as well. Well I never received it. I emailed the co back again and I keep getting different ppl. One lady wanted pictures so I told her I do not have pictures because **** told me to throw my items away. I even asked **** on the phone do you need pictures or does this need to be shipped back, he said no on the recorded line. They lie to their customers and treat they poorly. I feel like I was scammed. They pass it to the next person and the next person. They don't take care of the actual problem. This is unacceptable to scam your customers.ULTA Beauty
