TERRIBLE customer service in the ********* Consumes ** location. I asked how much a product was and response was - I have no idea? Go to front and ask cashier. I asked for help in cosmetics and was told she really didnt know much and she was on a phone call (appeared personal) and said shed try to get to me when she had time Really? This was my 4-5th time in that store and each time was awful. To top it off my Aunt had make up she wished to exchange (she purchased in same store location 2 days prior) at time of purchase she opted to have her receipt emailed (she has yet to receive) she was told by cashier that there was no record of it? No help offered to help figure out what thats all about?! I have been a very long time customer of *********************** - until today. Took product in store to return. Have no information on file, have receipt, returning 4 days after purchase. Was told I needed a phone number to return. I stated this is not what back of receipt states or the ulta return policy states on their website. I started video footage and made manager aware of this. Manager literally walked off to escape to the back of store and refused to help me. I was not rude, demeaning in any way I stayed very calm. I have a 15 minute video footage of being ditched with my receipt in hand and not able to get money back. I left store without return being processed came home and called customer service. Told rep on phone of experience. He put me on hold and told me he would be back to instruct further. He hung up! UNBELIEVABLE! TIME ULTA GETS REPORTED TO THE PROPER AGENCIES. After weeks of several phone calls to CS and several virtual texts, no resolution. I made a purchase online with my reward points. They auto canceled my order. Still to this day they have not credited back my rewards points I used toward the online purchase. I asked several times for a higher level of leadership to assist. I asked **** 5 times in a hour and 15 mins for contact number. I call, ***** tells me no one available and no time frame when I would get a call back after 45 mins. All this over $85 dollars in reward money. You can clearly see on my account my spending power at Ulta is generous! Im now a Sephora customer.ULTA Beauty

Made a large purchase online and when my order arrived half of it was missing. I immediately contacted Ulta customer service to let them know. The customer service rep was super muffled and hard to understand. He kept asking me the same questions over and over again and I felt like he wasnt believing me. After being on the phone for 30 minutes with him he finally fulfilled the rest of my order. Two days later I am unable to get into my account. I go to change my password and it says invalid email. I messaged Ulta through the app and they said it must be their website. After still not being able to log in for a few more days I finally call customer service again and they said someone changed the email on my account and stole all of my Ulta points that I had been saving. There was an online pickup order that was done 470 miles away from me. I find it very coincidental that after talking to customer service (they have access to that info) that my points are gone two days later. After looking on reddit and TikTok it sounds like a lot of people have had the same issue. Be careful calling customer service if you have a lot of rewards points saved up!!! I still dont have access to my account after a month and after reaching out to Ulta multiple times.ULTA Beauty

Ulta is in violation of customer rights per the "customers right to delete information" from their account as stated on their very own website. They no longer allow customers to delete credit card information which automatically is saved to the customer account when a purchase is made. The customer does not have a choice as to whether or not their information is saved and customer service will not delete it when requested.ULTA Beauty

If I could -1,000 stars I would. I purchased the baby bliss pro and paid with my debit card which was charged $197 immediately when Purchasing.
I noticed that I did not see it in my purchase history so I chatted and representative who provided me with an order #. I then decided to go on the website to look up the order number, it was not valid on the website. I called and the representative confirmed that this was the confirmation number and that I would be receiving my product in 3 to 5 business days. I then emailed a representative and was told the purchase was not processed, and that I would get my money back in five business days. Extremely misleading. Unfortunately, I do not have the funds to go in person to purchase the product because the money is now missing from my account. The Ulta corporation are a bunch of thieves. None of their customer service associates were able to help me and it was neither convenient to order for in store pick up. I was robbed of $197 and miss lead to purchase this. I could have taken my money elsewhere and picked up the product in store. Save your money and go to Sephora.
The first representative hung up on me. Then your second representative put me on hold. The customer service has been so bad this far. I’ve also seen quite a few ladies also saying that they have had items missing from their purchases and also never having received products they paid for.ULTA Beauty

I have been an Ulta shopper for many years, I foolishly let them talk me into one of their credit cards with Comenity bank. I finally used the card and completely forgot and I never received a bill. What I did receive was a notice from the credit bureau. I immediately paid the balance and contacted Comenity. I told them I had a 100% clean credit rating until this and asked them to give me a one time forgiveness since they never sent a bill and have it removed from my credit report. After months I finally received a very rude response and the answer was a hard no.
I just want anyone considering signing up for a card with ULTA to beware. I still have an almost 800 score but it's the principle. When I came here and read the reviews on Comenity Bank they were horrible! Why would Ulta choose to use such a bank and do this to their loyal customers. Because of this I've lost all respect for Ulta and will never do business with them again! Losing one customer may not hurt them much, but if they keep doing business with Comenity there will be many more to follow.ULTA Beauty

I tried to chat in because I had an issue with my order. I should have had 15% off the order. While chatting in they said I needed to place the order by 11/4 which I did but their system decided to process 12:05am 11/5. After acknowledging they saw my screenshot email confirmation of 11/4 proceeded to treat me as less then and as a liar and not help. They acknowledged my confirmation from the night before but said there system processed later when it wanted to and they won’t help. Terrible experience I sent proof screenshots and everything and was treated so poorly.ULTA Beauty

I had my hair colored at the ****************** location. I have had it colored there for years. I was not satisfied as I paid. My color was darker blonde underneath. My gray was not even colored on the right side of my face. The stylist never showed me my hair with a hand held mirror. I paid $100 for a service I wasn't happy with. I have made multiple attempts to resolve this by calling the corporate office. No one calls me back. The store manager is rude. They keep saying it is under review. It has been a month. They only apologize but never resolve anything. Very frustrated!******************ULTA Beauty

Ulta shoppers beware!!! I bought a few products from Ulta and decided I needed to return. Brought the items to local Ulta store, with the original sales receipt and was told my return could not be processed without a phone number. I bought the items under my sister's phone number, it's a loyal program I guess. Anyway, I did not have my phone with me at the time to give the number. Sales associate at the register insisted she could not process the return without a phone number. Again, the original receipt for purchase was with items for returns. Finally the sales associate offers to speak with a manager. The manager states the same thing, but says she will process the return. As if she is doing me a favor.As I am asking questions on this trying to understand such a ridiculous return policy, the manager then says our return policy is on the receipt which states phone number. I say, "Yes. It's also states if not bought with a phone number of record, the original sales receipt must be presented. Here is my sales receipt so I do not understand why I was told my return could not be processed." She could not reply. Simply dumbfounded about this. This was frustrating to say the least. Ulta has lost a shopper here. On a side note, the sales associate and manager were not rude in this transaction, just not aware of their own store policy as it is written.ULTA Beauty
