I've been trying to make a purchase online for the first time and they emailed me saying that due to factors I'm blocked from purchasing online forever. I'm livid! I miss the sale happening last weekend and when I kept calling they told me the case was done. They emailed me saying it was not for personal use and error keep saying my payment it's incorrect which is not. All the emails I got and phone calls said my account is suspicious and if I want to do purchases I have to go in person because my account will remain blocked. I told them I moved away 1.5hr from Ulta and they didn't care and hung up the call. After several time calling after my calls were getting hung up. If I could give 0 stars I would.ULTA Beauty

Online customer service is a joke. First I was told to wait three days, then eight days, now I’m told that I have to give them four extra days because there was a holiday. I paid for premium shipping so my order would get here within a certain time frame. They have already refunded that, but refuse to do anything more until they contact me — yes, I was told don’t call us, we will call you. Never will I ever order from Ulta online again.ULTA Beauty

I have not been receiving points on my purchases. I called and customer service said that I made an “inaccurate” purchase and Ulta canceled my membership. I asked for details on what this inaccurate purchase was or what that even meant but they said they did not have that information. I asked how I can fix this because I am platinum and didn’t want to lose my status, they said there was nothing they could do. I asked if I could start a new membership and they said no. This is absurd. I have obviously spent a lot of money here and all I could get out of customer service was there was nothing they could do. I was NEVER notified that my membership was canceled. Why would you allow me to continue using it if it’s not even active. NONE of this makes sense. I asked to speak with someone that could give me information and they told me there was no one. Just absurd. I was even fine with continuing without my earned points and just starting a new membership with platinum status but I was told that I could not do that. I tried placing an order for 1 foundation and it kept getting denied. So I called and emailed Ulta and after hours on the phone the response I got was basically that there was no way I was purchasing for personal use and they basically blocked my account so I can no longer purchase. They basically accused me of fraud....for buying one container of foundation!! Unreal. I have talked to numerous managers, been lied to, told I will be called back, told I need to "appeal"... are you kidding me? I was buying one foundation!!! The amount of time I have wasted on this is pathetic and the way Ulta has treated me is unfair. This may be one of the worst companies i have dealt with and I will be sure I spend my money elsewhere..along with my family and friends.ULTA Beauty

Absolutely the worst customer service that I have ever had in my life. This company filled an order that I had placed online and then days after I received that order, I received another order with some of the items from my original order. I did not order a duplicate order. I called Ulta, as soon as received this duplicate order for a return label, explaining that I did not order a duplicate. They told me that I could return it to my local store. I told them that I was disabled and could not drive, that is why I use their online service. Also, I have received merchandise that is marked as sample and they charged me for it. I thought they had at first solved the problem by giving me reward points and removing the duplicate order from my charge, but that did not happen. When I have tried to make another purchase online it would not go thru. I called to see why. I was told in writing that I used multiple names and was buying to resell the merchandise and they are refusing me online service, stating that I could use their local store. Do not get the Ulta credit card...it is through ************* and they are the worst! Refer to the ************* ratings to see more. No matter what the discount you get at Ulta, it is not worth working with *************.ULTA Beauty

Ulta customer service is extremely poor. They do not read their emails, making you provide the same information again and again. They will ship you an incorrect order, and then request you to spend your own time to mail it back to them. They will then not ship your correct order with any expedited shipping to make up for the lost time. Even if you repetitively ask them to ship expedited, they still will not do it, until you absolutely insist. They need to update their policy that if an incorrect order is shipped, you are not required to return the incorrect order, and they will automatically reship your items with overnight shipping. This is a simple solution that would help fix their own errors, improving customer experience. Very poor customer service training and policies.ULTA Beauty

Ulta would be great if they STOP using Comenity!!!!!!!!! Always glitching - you set up auto draft- system glitches- you log into credit card website you CANT- You call customer service - different answers every time- then they hit you with late fees!!! Its sad because we love ulta but if they don't use a differ company for financing they will continue to lose business.ULTA Beauty

Ulta Online does not allow any cancellations. I tried canceling a product IMMEDIATELY after I hit send since the product switched from my curbside pickup with a discount to being shipped to my house without my discount and having to pay for shipping costs. I contacted customer support and was told the order was already processed at 5 pm on a Sunday moments after I hit ok. I was then told that there was nothing they could do to cancel my order. I was told numerous times that I would receive my full refund if I brought the product in to return in store. I clarified that I would receive the FULL refund including shipping and was told TWICE that I would receive the FULL REFUND. Well, when I went in the store to make my return that was suddenly no longer the case. The store called customer support for me and was told since it was successfully delivered they would not waive this fee even though I was promised. TERRIBLE business practice and even worse customer support. I will NEVER be purchasing online EVER again and will be doing all of my shopping from Sephora from here on out.ULTA Beauty

Do NOT get a credit card with Ulta. I paid a late fee for one day late and then they keep adding late fees after my call to them to dispute it, they keep adding more and more when this all emerged from me owing a dollar or so balance and them tacking late fees monthly!
