My daughter saved her Ulta gift cards to buy a Dyson Air Wrap. We went to the website to order it and it would accept 1 gift card. We called the *******, ** store and they said they could order it from the store. We went there and they said they could merge $250 in gift cards only. It was my daughters birthday so we agreed to pay the remainder out of pocket. I complained to corporate office and they said we should have been able to merge up to $500. It was too late at that point because we made the purchase. I could have only paid $111 instead of $361. *** never encountered a business who has gift card limits and dollar amount limits. ****** learned. Unfortunately I still have $400 in gift cards and Im so upset by their business practice I dont want to go back to any of their stores.ULTA Beauty

We apologize for gift card limitations, $500 is the maximum amount, and our store team is able to merge $250, any amount over this threshold can be merged by our guest services team, or our online gift card merge tool. We understand our gift card limitations can be inconvenient, however, you are welcome to use multiple gift cards for in-store transactions. If you have already received your Dyson item, you can return and repurchase it in-store to use all of your gift cards in the same transaction.Review fromTamara J

I made a "store to door" purchase on 01-16-2023 for Redken Shampoo ($35.63.) I received an email receipt that I paid for the order in the store and it would be shipped to my home. The order was received in a timely manner. However, when the order was shipped, Ulta charged me AGAIN for another $35.63! I have been fighting with Ulta ***** Services for 30 days! I have sent 10 emails and made 2 phone calls! I sent them a copy of the email that clearly stated I paid for the shampoo in the store. Then they requested I send a copy of my bank statement showing the 2 charges on my account. I promptly sent a dated, stamped and "certified bank copy" of my statement. Clearly, based on the documentation, I have been charged twice for the same shampoo. Not sure why no one is understanding this issue! I'm sick and tired of hearing: "We're sorry to hear..." "We have sent this issue for further review." "Thank you for your patience and understanding as we do our due diligence." "We understand your frustration." Today I filed a claim for fraudulent charge by Ulta with my credit union. I am tired of getting the run around. Maybe THIS will get their attention! I am seriously considering purchasing my beauty products elsewhere! I'm so done with Ulta!ULTA Beauty

I wanted to unsubscribe from emails so I made the mistake of signing up for an account on their website, I called my local Ulta beauty store one of the associates gave me the number for the customer service line, I asked them about how to simply delete my account, to which they preceded to hang up on me avoiding the subject - twice I might add - I want my account deleted nor want to support a business that lies to the public about the meaning of a biological womanULTA Beauty

************ *********** ** Ulta called the cops and LIED to them.. the cops were called because and I quote what the officer said For a customer who was asked to leave and wouldnt I was NEVER asked to leave.. I was asked if I needed any help when I let them know that their display was falling apart (it wasnt screwed in and I was touching those black morphe brush display) and when I told them no im okay thank you, the cops show up. I spent $218.46 on ulta.. doing nothing and I get the police called on me.ULTA Beauty

Purchased an eyelash serum online. Spent enough to get free shipping. They only sent the 2 extra oils I purchased to get the free shipping. And never sent the eye serum. Bait and switch! They state I must have good taste. Never put the order on backorder. And charged me for the oils. Buyer beware of this bait & switchULTA Beauty

Placed an order on 1/29/23 and receive tracking with a delivery date of 2/3/23...It didn't come. I received an updated delivery date of 2/4/23..It never came. Checked again and it was supposedly handed off to USPS. Checked my USPS account and it say they haven't received it (waiting to receive from carrier facility- UPS). I've received no updates since! Here it is 2/5/23 and I try to chat them which was no help. I called and was told they couldn't do anything until WEDNESDAY and to call back. I was also basically told I should’ve paid for expedited shipping if I wanted it sooner than the estimated 3-8 days…Despite my tracking confirmation of 2/3 and 2/4. I asked for a supervisor and requested cancellation...DENIED! Told to call back on Wednesday. I then explained that USPS is currently delayed by a minimum of 2-4 weeks on all mail and that my package won’t be arriving any time soon (I just got Christmas cards 2 wks ago that were sent beginning of Dec.) I then asked them to overnight another shipment via UPS/FEDEX and I would return the lost package if it ever showed up. They can clearly see the tracking and can see it's in limbo, but they denied that request too. They did absolutely NOTHING to resolve my issue but they took my money. I finally hung up and called to dispute the charge. NEVER AGAIN!!!!ULTA Beauty

I spoke to ** from escalation department today, regarding my experience on 1/26/23 with A.. the manager of the store. I asked for a sales circular to see what was on sale in the store. A. informed me that I needed to use the website. This is what I did went to register with my make up in my shade. A.., then informed me that this shade was not on sale, it felt like false advertising to me and my daughter felt like I was being discriminated against because I was not African-American. This was a very disturbing experience. All I wanted was a $15 item and both the manager and corporate escalation did not help me. I should have read BBB reviews before shopping at Ulta.ULTA Beauty

I ordered online back on 01/10/2023. It was sent in 2 separate boxes the first box arrived on time and was fine since it was all plastic packaged items in that box, but I was supposed to receive my second package on 01/17/2023 but did not get it until 01/18/2023 late at night and when I opened it I found that my ********************** was broken and got all over everything in the box( it WAS NOT bubble wrapped or protected at all) $50 foundation and No protection around it. So I checked all the Ulta beauty stores for 50 miles around me and none of them have my shade in stock and I need it for an event on Tuesday. So I emailed customer service, letting them know that none of the stores in my area have the shade I need in stock and got a response the next day saying they would re-ship a new one to me I just needed to reply back that I wanted them to do that and to send a photo of the damaged product so I did that and asked for the tracking number for that re-shipment and then a few hours later I got a response saying all they could do was refund me via a gift card to Ulta and I can go to one of my local stores to replace it. It was 2 different people that responded and the second one didnt even read the first persons email or my original email for that matter and Im just getting the run around and I have an event next week that I needed this for and no one is responding now.ULTA Beauty

After I returned a product I bought from them, I did not receive a refund. I sent them at least 6 emails with a confirmation of delivery from **** to their return center. I never received a refund. Its been over 2 months.ULTA Beauty

Ulta In *** ***** wrongfully accused my friend of shoplifting then illegally detained him while the Management checked the video to verify his identity. It wasn't him so they let him go and even though he was innocent, the Police still followed us for hours after leaving Ulta and pulled us over to harass us.ULTA Beauty
