They do not have change for cash purchases. Should have received $0.52 in change but did not due to the worker only having pennies.ULTA Beauty

Atrocious and mismanagement. I came in on Christmas Eve to get help with my peach and pink hair. I wanted the peach / orange out. I also had about 3 of root regrowth. Hairdresser recommended putting in a pink gloss at my consultation the day before. When I arrived I told her Id rather not. So manager came over and said we could cover the peach up with an ash and then lighten up my roots to blend it in. However it was completely patchy! My roots were still dark in places and orange in others. Manager tried telling me I put something in my roots. I told him nothing was put in my roots . Last time was September. I was in tears it looked so horrible. He said it looked better. Hairstylist didnt even get all the product out of my hair. So manager gives me his name with cell number and Ulta on it. Says to call if not happy and they could put an all over dark color. Which I told from beginning I didnt want. I call him 2 days later and he informed me he no longer works for the company. I needed to call Ulta and speak with someone else. I call and speak with another manager and told shed call back. Never called me. I called the next day and she wasnt in. *** tells me she remembers me in I was concerned about the banding on my hair and they explained things to me. I never once mentioned banding. I said I wanted the peach/ orange out. No one wants to take responsibility!!! I washed with my Olaplex and it stripped the toner which no one mentioned. Now my head is completely copper red. Now its going to be worse to correct. Still waiting on someone to call back with information they used in hair so I can let my actual hairdresser know. I was told they didnt write the information down. Total lack of detail and incompetence at this Ulta Salon in *****, **!ULTA Beauty

I went in to purchase a few things I needed. I needed some foundation and so did my sister . Colour pop ( my favorite brand) had sales tags showing buy one get one free. As Im standing in line the manager comes over and changes the sale tag to buy one get one half off. To me thats false advertising. Ulta should honor the price of the product when I picked it up. And like I stated I was standing in line already. Spoke with the manager her name was ******. This took place at store in *******, **. . Im just unhappy. Its false advertising to me if you put something out at one price and then turn around and change the tag after someone has already put it in their basket at the previous price .ULTA Beauty

The website reads free blanket with purchase but at checkout there is no mention of the blanket. I contacted customer service and informed me there is a $65 minimum purchase and they ran out of blankets. I informed them it doesnt show this on their website and they just kept saying sorry. I informed them is is click bait / false advertising. All they said was sorry. Horrible company, fraudulent.ULTA Beauty

They sold a product broken and after me driving to different locations where the same product in store were also broken, the employee recommended me to contact customer service in order to get that problem solved. For my surprise they didnt do anything about it said they couldnt ship to my home or honor the price I bought in case I wanted to try purchasing on line to see if I have a better luck, since the product I bought is broken in all stores! Then I asked to speak with the manager of customer service and they told me would take up to 48hrs to receive a call back. A total joke!ULTA Beauty

Had a horrible experience at the salon at Market ********* in ********, ***** on 12/4/22. Booked online for highlights and haircut. Appointment was for 11:15 am and I didn't leave the salon until 2:45. I don't have an long hair or anything out of the ************ seemed like the stylist working with me had no idea what she was doing which made me hesitant at the start and I should have gone with my gut. I showed her a picture to give her an idea of what color and how many highlights I was looking for. She had to consult another stylist as to what exact services I would need to achieve that. Finally got the highlights started and once those were done I was to be getting a glaze. However, my stylist asked another stylist if I needed the glaze and she said no-having no frame of reference as to what I was wanting. Mind you, at this point, I have been there for 3 hours and needed to get home. So, she dried my hair and I left. As soon as I got home was when I could really see how ridiculous I looked. There is no way I will ever go back to this salon or any Ulta. I found another salon the next to day FIX the damage that was done so i can go out in public without a hat. Paid almost $200 to look and feel like s*** Contacted customer service who did actually reply back to me in a timely manner and they requested the salon location reach out to me to rectify the issue. Not surprisingly, I have not heard from the salon.ULTA Beauty

I have been a loyal Ulta customer for at least 10 years. Yesterday I received my online purchase and I was sent lip gloss instead of concealer. I reached out and was told they would send the correct item in **** business days. I was then asked to send back the lip gloss (packaging and label provided at no cost to me). I was shocked that they would not allow me to keep the $5 lip gloss as a sorry for sending you the wrong item gesture. I will gladly send back the $5 lip gloss, which probably is only saving them $1-2 after they pay for the shipping to return it.ULTA Beauty

If you are considering opening an account with Ulta, ------- DON'T. -------READ THIS FIRST. This is quite possibly the worst company I have ever dealt with. In the 2 years I've had an account with them, I've had to call 4 times to have them reverse late fees that were THEIR mistake, and each one has been counted as a courtesy reversal on me! I've spent HOURS on the phone trying to get them to reverse the late fees they've charged me incorrectly and it's finally reached a point where they don't want to reverse them anymore. My payment's are due on the 17th, but! even though my payments are made on time, the next time I log in to my account, boom -late fee. It feels terrible being a customer who religiously pays my account on time AND in full! They are incredibly untrustworthy. It's reached the point where I've had to start taking photo documentation after making my payments on time so that when I get that late fee that I just KNOW that they're gonna charge me, at least this way I have proof. Even then, with the photo documentation, they are unable to reverse the fee's. And of course, closing an account like this will most assuredly hurt your credit. I feel backed into a corner by this company.ULTA Beauty

I placed an order for almost $200 today. Then 20 minutes I tried to cancel the order. I couldn't do it online so I called customer service within 25 minutes of having placed the order. The rep claimed that it couldn't be canceled and tried a couple of different ways and was unsuccessful. I asked to speak to a supervisor and literally ended up being on the phone with the rep and unable to get to a supervisor. WHAT KIND OF C*** IS THIS???? I will NEVER SHOP AT ULTA AGAIN?!?!ULTA Beauty

Twice I have had issues with this store. Last year they refused to sale me a product because I didn't want to give them my phone number. I asked for the manager and she said they could do the sale but corporate didn't like them not getting a phone number. Today I was told I COULD NOT return my product if I didn't give them my phone number. I said even if I have the receipt and they said NO. I think this is Illegal.ULTA Beauty
