      Bought an item in store, but the price listed was lower than the price that was ringing up. Informed employee, Mylina, that she has to allow the price that is listed under the item and Mylina refused to give me the price that was listed. I informed her that according to law, what is listed is what needs to be honored, but she refused. ******** customer service. She was incredibly rude and dismissive. Will call Ulta customer service.

      Ulta is a joke. Ordered way over $130 for the free 21 piece gift set valued at ($156). I placed the item in my cart, and when checking out the free gift disappeared. I've been a loyal costumer for over 7 years. They are always False advertising. I will not be buying from ulta anytime soon. I emailed them and they did not resolve the issue. Truly disappointed in you ulta.

      I ordered a Burberry HER perfume on their app on 1/29/25 it was during their little you spend a certain amount you get that mini Prada tote, a charm, and their 2 mini paradox perfumes, with this purchase I also got a free mystery gift. The Prada gift part was cancelled a short while to immediately after putting my order in though and that was fine understandable they probably ran out. I was still getting a free mystery gift. Friday 1/31/25 I got a email that my package was on the way and the estimated delivery date was 2/01/25. 2/03/25 comes and i havent received anything I check the tracking and it says my package is being returned to sender. I get on the Ulta app go to customer service, I talk to someone their more than happy to resend my product at first but asked me instead of a free gift they wanted to replace it with a $10 electric gift card. I asked him if he was going to send it to the original address ( primary address) on my account, and then asked that instead of a free gift that originally comes with a package of that much money he wanted to replace it with a $10 gift card just to clarify, and within that same message i politely declined and let him know that the Prada gift deal that was in my cart was already cancelled and I wasnt interested in a $10 electoral gift card. He immediately messages back Alright. Let me process your refund. . This has been the worst costumer service in my life, just because I didnt want a $10 electoral gift card who said I didn't want the perfume i ordered ( in my opinion I cant get anything with a $10 gift card without having to also dip into my own pocket i dont know Ive never shopped here this was my first time) my whole order was cancelled and I now have -12 points. This was my first and will definitely be my last time buying anything from Ulta based on this experience.

      this review about ulta customer service so before yr 2024 ended needed to spend $300 to keep my diamond status which i did so i kept my diamond status for year 2025. beginning of january i get to find out my **** from april 29 was change to june and i went in store to change it no problem. so upgraded phone and i went with them again in store to change my old number to my new number that never happened i dont know how the employee knew my old old number from 3 yrs ago she didnt updated my number to the new one. So i contact customer service following day and i get to find out that my account compromised hacked. i told em who or what going on no answer. i kept contacting them and they kept telling me that internal team handleling it and that escalated. i got proof so this has been back and forth back and forth.its been a month we on february 3 and no answer. went today to the store and ulta employee told me she will change my number i check my app and same old number. not gonna say names of the employee but she told me there was a yahoo email on my account and another phone number on my account it was 703 number i live in ********** my area code 915. i contact customer service and told em and same old that they understand the pain blah blah yeah now i get to find out by a employee that basically my account hacked idk if this person has my credit card information my address i got small childrens fear of been watch just for them to keep saying the same old thing. I SUGGEST DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY AT ULTA WASTED 1200 TO BE A DIAMOND AND WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER.

      I placed an online order with Ulta. Waited 10 days and the tracking was still saying the products had not been shipped. I called and was asked to wait a few more days to see if they show up in the mail. On day 13 I called back again and was asked to wait until the next day and they might be in the mail, even though *** said they never got the package. I was reassured that someone was handling my order and that someone would reach out to me the next day. No one called. On day 14 I texted Ulta and was told that they would send my package out again but I was no longer eligible for the free gift with purchase. Next time I will purchase directly from The Ordinary. Day 15 and still no products and tracking says *** does not have the new package either.

      Walked into Ulta with my daughter to shop for makeup for her junior prom. I was initially helped by a lady was supposed to be familiar with the brand Lancme. She was horrible in shade making her. Decided to move on to ****** and ****. The lady said its not her area and she told the two ********s to help us. They both just ignored us for maybe 10 minutes or longer . Then the first ******** who was working **** looked over and said what we needed, she proceeded to tell the second ******** to help and she acted shocked after she told the ****** ******** yeah sure shell help. Employees are horrible in shade matching, act like they dont want to work and arent familiar with the high end products. Just Rude and it makes me want to take my money elsewhere. Spending all this money yearly to make diamond status and I just needed help really with the shade matching. They arent as knowledgeable of products as the ******* ********s Ive encountered. I honestly thought about leaving and just going to the mall to shop at ******* or a department store. I just might return because in the ********************************* I felt racially profiled. Before greeting me Ive seen the ******** walk over to the aisle and just stand and watch me. After I found the ******* denona concealer shade, then she asked if I needed help. The first incident was on Thursday, January 30th around 1pm in **********. The second visit was the next day which was Friday, January 31st around 11am in **********. If cameras are ever looked at I am the black woman who has on the full length Burberry black puffer coat with a ***** wallet.

      I found out ultas return policy SCHEME. must read whole story.. not what you think!I ordered some products off ulta. I received them yesterday and tried them before bed. I woke up with a bunch of acne so I was like ok these products don't work for me, I'm gonna return them. I was in window and means of their written and posted return policy. my products were lightly used, which I told them, and I just wanted my money back because I paid with a debit card. they went to do my return, and said there was an issue on their end with my card. I said that's weird, I've been buying stuff all day and I've never had an issue, but ill call my bank. I call my bank and they confirmed they did see the failed transaction at ulta and looked into it more. again, ulta was supposed to be giving ME money. long story short, the fraud department of my bank SAW and TOLD me that when ulta issues your return, the system automatically 0's out your ENTIRE CARD NUMBER, all except the last 4. so obviously the money will NEVER go through. so the employees offer store credit and that's fine with some people, but some people, like me today, I want my money back and truthfully, I don't need to explain it more because its my money and I'm in your store regulations to receive it back. the employees were accommodating and I put them through hoops to give me cash back. again, they offered me store credit and I said I don't want store credit. in fact, I will never shop at ulta again to know their system is SET UP for an unsuccessful return. I found this very disheartening to hear my bank guy SEE my card zeroed out entirely, except the last 4. again, the employees at this location were helpful and kind, and I think this issue is much BEYOND THEM. I just hope you think twice before spending your money at this corporation, and especially don't if you are unsure if that product will work for you, because when it comes to the return, there will be issues, or at least you will likely only get store credit.

      This review is about ULTA SALON IN ****************************************! I met ***** at a salon near where I live and since I already knew her I decided to trust her again and go to her new place which is ULTA. The first 4 visits went well, my nightmare started when she used a chemical while she was washing out my color and left it on for 5 minutes and the first time I couldn't stand it, and that day I remember a young man came without an appointment and they told ***** that he had to cut his hair and she wanted to leave me with that chemical while she was cutting it, and that's when I begged her to take that chemical off because it burned and itched and the cut was going to last more than 5 minutes and she took it off. I couldn't sleep that night and I got up in the middle of the night to wash my hair to get some relief and be able to rest. It's the first time in my entire life that I see someone use one stronger chemical after another. I feel like my scalp has been damaged to the extreme that my hair is falling out in clumps from the roots and it is so shocking that just the thought of losing my hair permanently scares me. I kept going for 3 or 4 more sessions but told her I didnt want that chemical, tomorrow it will be 2 weeks since I called ULTA BEAUTY to let them know my problem even though ***** told me they already knew I wanted to let them know myself and I spoke to the store manager who was very nice and told me that the salon manager was in a meeting and would call me back, so far no one has contacted me, that shows that they dont careMy intention in doing this review is to prevent other people from going through the same thing as me, this is already causing me so much physical and mental distress, I wish I could turn back time but its too late, the damage is already done!

      I would give zero stars if that were an option. I have been dealing with corporate, guest services, and the Ulta credit card company for nearly a month regarding a double charge of almost $200 for an in-store transaction. The store manager assured me that one of the transactions was voided and that if it posted, I could call for a refund. However, both charges went through, and when I reached out for help, the manager dismissed my concerns, saying, Well, it is voided on our end, so theres nothing we can do.This experience has been incredibly frustrating. Whether this was an honest mistake or a tactic to inflate daily sales, the lack of accountability from store management is unacceptable. After weeks of back-and-forth, corporate finally claimed to have resolved the issuebut I am still waiting to see if the refund actually ************ make matters worse, I had to deal with this while on vacation, and the delay resulted in additional interest charges on my account. When I requested further compensation for the inconvenience, I was offered just 300 pointsequivalent to less than $10. This response feels dismissive and does not reflect the level of service I expected as a loyal customer.I am extremely disappointed in how Ulta has handled this situation and how little they seem to value their customers. After years of shopping with them, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

      I made an in store purchase and noticed when I was looking at my bank account that they had charged me twice and both payments ended up posting. I was told this was a glitch in the system and happens. I had to call my bank for a pdf statement and email it to guest services and was told that it should fall off in 7 business days, but sometimes doesn't and if that happens I will need to send a bank statement again and call. This "glitch" is unacceptable and the fact that I have to do all of this to have my money returned because of no fault of my own is crazy!!!
