I made an in store purchase and noticed when I was looking at my bank account that they had charged me twice and both payments ended up posting. I was told this was a glitch in the system and happens. I had to call my bank for a pdf statement and email it to guest services and was told that it should fall off in 7 business days, but sometimes doesn't and if that happens I will need to send a bank statement again and call. This "glitch" is unacceptable and the fact that I have to do all of this to have my money returned because of no fault of my own is crazy!!!ULTA Beauty

I had made an appointment with them a week prior trying to get my hair bleached for my birthday. I talked to them and everything seemed fine. They said that they had time to do it so I went ahead and made an appointment. I purposely made an appointment the day before my birthday. Ulta called me the day of my appointment saying that they dont have time anymore. i was very frustrated because Ulta shouldve called me ahead of time to tell me this, but they decide to call me the day of my scheduled appointment? it was my birthday the next day so clearly I had limited time on finding a new place to make a new appointment. thankfully i found a place and went the morning of my birthday but this all couldve been avoided if Ulta called me ahead of time and not the day off. it was very unprofessional, its not right to charge customers a fee if they cancel the day of there appointment but as a hairstylist its okay?ULTA Beauty

My purchase was made based on advertising materials that clearly promised 4 free gifts in addition to my purchased item, for a total of 5 items. Upon receiving my order, I discovered only 2 items were included.The first contact Ulta's customer service department resulted in an unsatisfactory offer of a $5 e-gift card as compensation. While a subsequent representative increased this offer to $10. However, the final resolution only provided a $5 e-gift card.The misleading advertising practices are concerning and potentially unlawful. I request a full investigation into this matter.ULTA Beauty

Beyond frustrated with the runaround between these managers from this store and the guest services number. Note to all when making your holiday purchases do not get rid of those gift cards you use when youre done with them because if they refund you to them and you dont have it this BILLION DOLLAR COMPANY WILL REFUSE to give you your money product or time back! I purchased the ***** **** perfume as a gift for my mother around December 15 and did not receive the gift with purchase. I understand that the *** is limited- however I would think common sense would dictate that once the *** sells out there would be a timely effort to remove the *** from the app. When I inquired about the *** after Christmas, more than 10 days later, the *** was still showing on the app. I was told the *** was sold out when I purchased the perfume. How is it not false advertising to continue to market the perfume as having a handbag *** for days and days knowing full well that the *** has sold out? I understand completely that the *** is limited- but it feels borderline illegal to continue to advertise it for so long knowing full well that no customer will be receiving it.I had earlier in the month contacted Ulta about points that weren't showing up as part of a separate issue. The woman who helped me was very kind and helpful but it was near IMPOSSIBLE to get in contact with a real person. Every time the "AI" assistant couldn't help me, it simply ended the chat. Sometimes I would put my phone # in and it would tell me that no account was associated with that number, but then 30 seconds later would find my account with no problem. The virtual assistant added so much unnecessary frustration to my experience. The actual person who helped me was very kind and helpful! But to actually be able to speak to a human being took me through so many unnecessary hoops and obstacles.I would have filled my review out through the ULTA guest experiences survey- but I did not want to tank the rating of the poor person who helped me. It would have been extremely unfair to give her 1 star and tank her average when she was not the problem. ULTA itself as a company was the problem- unfortunately as a former retail worker I know how important survey results are for the employees themselves.ULTA Beauty

I would like to address a deeply concerning experience I had at the ********************************* location on 12/14/24 at 3:36 PM. The behavior of the employee, *****, at register 2 was wholly unprofessional and unacceptable, warranting immediate attention and action from your corporate team.From the onset of my transaction, ***** displayed an inability to hear or understand my requests, forcing me to repeatedly raise my voice to communicate effectively. This not only created an uncomfortable situation for me but also resulted in a lengthy line of customers who began to express concern regarding the status of my order. Instead of handling the situation with the professionalism one would expect from a customer service representative, ***** responded with loud, dismissive remarks that could be heard by both other customers and the cashier next to her.The situation was exacerbated when I inquired about a free item that was advertised with a green sticker as part of my purchase of the compact curling wand. Rather than assisting me, ***** directed me to return to the product display to verify the item, only to subsequently refuse to provide any of the available free items. She insisted that I would need to contact customer service for resolution, despite the clear display indicating I was entitled to a complimentary item.The conduct I experienced was not only uncalled for but also left me feeling disrespected and discriminated against in a retail environment where I have been a loyal customer. I am formally requesting a full refund for my purchases as compensation for this unacceptable treatment. Furthermore, I urge you to address this matter with the staff at the ****** location to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future.ULTA Beauty

I've been a rewards customer in **********, IL for years. Three years ago the rewards stopped adding to my account whenever I made an in-store purchase. I recently saw where rewards are being stolen by Ulta employees and cancelled my account. I found much better prices elsewhere and will never shop again. The rewards program is a scam, with no security measures for customers.ULTA Beauty

Visited Ulta in *******, ** on 11/8/2024. Decided to purchase myself some new makeup as its been a while since Ive treated myself. A gal came over to help the girl who was ringing my stuff up and started bagging my products. As she was bagging, she dropped at least three products on the ground. I was trying not to think much of it and didnt even see which products were dropped as I had my toddler with me and was distracted. I made the assumption that everything was placed in my bag accordingly and asked if anything was broken could I bring it back since they were dropped she stated yes, but nothing is broken. I proceeded home only to find that one item was missing - it was my $16.99 bronzer. I called the store right away to inform them that I think a product may not have been picked up and placed back in bag if they could check their back counter or behind the cash wrap. They informed me they had a long line and would need to call me back. Called me back 1 hour later to tell me they found nothing but could refund me if I came back into the store. They refused service to me when I returned the next day and told me to take it up with corporate. Here I am two months later with still no product or my money returned. I have called customer service on four occasions as no one ever reached out to me. Just got off the phone with customer service who told me my request was denied for a refund. So basically I was robbed of my money and my product I purchased. I am a working mom, and a full time student who decided to treat herself for once.. and this is what happened. I will never shop here again and I plan to get legal advice.ULTA Beauty

Awful experience, I sent my husband and son to purchase some hair products for me. Poor guys went in circle trying to find what I needed. Employees never offered help, sale's associates talking with in them self. **************** is a thing of the past at this store. No matter how much money I spend here I need to find a better place to shop. Ulta is not the spot!ULTA Beauty
