On 9/27/24, I went to ULTA in *****, ** to get my hair cut & colored. At the checkout they were having problems with the ********** said my card didn't go through the first *********** had me swipe it again. I was informed if it charged twice to contact the store. When the bill arrived in October, I contacted the store & was informed that I needed to contact their corporate customer service. I contacted them & the first time they responded back & then stopped communication. I again started the process over again on November 1, 2024, to contact them to tell them what went on. Again, they requested a copy of my credit card statement. I provided that & still nothing was refunded. Now a month & a half after the double charge they asked for a copy of my receipt, which I still had because I scan all of my receipts into an app & submitted that on November 7, 2024. Finally in an email on November 15, 2024, they agreed that they double charged me & that the money would be refunded to my ULTA credit card telling me it would take ***** business days to see the refund. As it was getting close to 2 months, I requested that that they reimburse the interest on that fraudulent charge also, since it was their error & not mine. On November 28, 2024, I again contacted them as it was over 2 months now & they should have had ample time to reimburse this. Their response was that they have until December 9th to refund it. I sent an email back asking how they get December 9th to equate the 10 to 14 business days. They sent an email back saying they made a mistake & the ***** days should be December 6th as they never submitted the request until November 16th. Ok, they still don't know math as December 6th is 15 business days. Yesterday, December 5th I contacted them again as I still had not been reimbursed. I informed them that I made a payment on December 2nd, and it showed up on my account on December 3rd, why hasn't theirs. Now on December 6th it is still not reimbursed.ULTA Beauty

Can't get past checkout online... customer service was no help at all. "Escalated" They've done nothing, I still can't order a single thing online no matter what card I use. Called my bank and they told me it was on Ulta's side but they won't do anything to fix it.ULTA Beauty

Doesnt deserve one star. Double charged me when I only placed one order. Refused to refund the duplicate, even though it was reported within 15 mins. Blamed the customer, even though it was an error with their system. Told the customer to do a bunch of work to fix it. Had to email, text, and call only to receive no solution. Wouldnt refund it or cancel it. Disputing with my bank. Have had multiple poor experiences with Ulta in 2024. I am a top tier member, and Im done with them. Not worth the hassle of having errors they wont solve. Theyve gone so far downhill. They lost a loyal customer who shopped there for over 20 years.ULTA Beauty

Ulta Beauty Salon in **************************************************. After my appointment, they completely messed up my hair and, instead of offering to fix it, all they did was refund my money. All I wanted was for them to correct their mistake. I couldnt sleep at all that night because my scalp was burning, and there was some sticky residue in my hair that ******* couldnt even identify. My scalp was so irritated that I had to wash it in the middle of the night just to find some relief. I am not the only person that complained about this! Originally, my hair was supposed to be a single color, but it ended up having five different shades. I'm usually quite easy to please and understanding, but their lack of support was truly disappointing. The distress caused me, both physically and mentally. I have videos and additional photos documenting my experience, and I genuinely feel this treatment is unfairnot just to me, but to future customers as well. I'm sharing my experience to warn others and to help them avoid what I went through.ULTA Beauty

An e mail arrived the day before cyber Monday offering a buy 1 get one free on exuviance moisture cream I immediately went on line but the product . It was sold out even in stores No rain check was offered This is the second time Ulta offered a sale and did not have the product available It seems these offers are leads to get you on the web suite customer service apologizes but offers nothingULTA Beauty

After years of loyal service to Ulta, I am beyond frustrated, disappointed, and know I am an unvalued number on their spread sheet - that has shown no care at all for their mistakes causing their clients grief, and therefore has no accountability. I placed an order using coupon codes, sales, deals and gift cards. My order was delivered while I was out of town for a few days, and before I could even retrieve my package from a secure locker system, I had an email informing me I had been refunded for my entire order. The shipment to my address was packed with a different invoice. I tried calling 4 times, customer service kept getting their line cut off and I was tired of starting over. Within those calls I was informed by order was returned because it was obviously sent to someone else. I then had to switch to email. That got worse. The did not call me to discuss my options - and as such refunded a gift card I no longer. Products and sales were no longer available. I just now sent an email, the 23rd within the series of trying to get this resolved, to let them know the gift card they insisted they refunded (which was why they could not recreate my order, which seems like the natural solution, as well as the one I wanted) in fact had a $0 balance. So my fight to get my funds back so I can spend them to get out from under this company is STILL going on. For my trouble? They gave me a $10 gift card...ULTA Beauty

I have been shopping at Ulta for the past 6yrs with my daughter's. Today on 11/25/2024, I felt that my daughter and I were racially profiled. I have never experienced this before. The occurrence made me feel very uncomfortable. I plan on contacting corporate to have the matter handled properly.ULTA Beauty

Treated poorly and racially discriminated at the Ulta beauty in ********** ! Im a diamond member and was threatened and told I would be kicked out of the store while purchasing some products . I dont think I can support this business anymore , it all happened in front of my 7 year oldULTA Beauty

My 12 year old granddaughter received a $25 gift card and I took her to the store to redeem it. When prompted by the cashier, the number on the card did not work, it was too short and apparently missing a digit. It was not a fraudelent card, rather the number had been covered by the privacy screen and was unreadable. We were turned away and told to call the number on the card. From the parking lot we did so and after 20 minutes of fruitless holds, (the option regarding gift card issues was automated and only discussed virtual card redemption) I reached a person. We were told that the card could not be verified and that we would be contacted in ***** hours. We were not contacted and once again tried the phone number but was told there was no ************* it appeared it was the first digit that was obscured, I went to the online redemption and entered the redemption code repeatedly, incrementing the first digit each time. I did eventually find it and my granddaughter was able to use the card.The phone system is terrible and it feels like a scam as most people would simply have given up.ULTA Beauty

I do not usually write reviews but I am very frustrated. I recently placed a large order online but normally do in store orders. Since I placed the order online I have been locked out of my account. *** called customer service, spoke to the chat service and went in store to update my information with my photo ID. When I went in store the girl was very nice and updated my information for me, and it seemed that someone had hacked my account since my online order. They had changed my email, address and phone number to random information, I went to change my password today after going in store yesterday and it is still not working. I called again today to customer service and she said she cannot help me because I can not verify the email the hackers put into my account. I verified everything else including my name, address, phone number, loyalty member number and my most recent transaction. Everyone just keeps saying we will transfer this to our internal team then hangs up. Im beyond frustrated, I just want my account back and to make sure no one has used my loyalty points. I have been trying to make a purchase and I cant even do that.ULTA Beauty
