On 7/18/23 my credit report was checked by Auto Warehouse, now known as Carfect. On 7/18/23, Carfect opened an auto loan with my personal information. I have contacted Carfect multiple times and told them an account was opened with my information, but it was not me. I spoke with two ladies, one of them was ******, who told me they do not have any opened account with my information. That is clearly a lie since it shows on my credit report that I do have an account. I asked her what their process was for verifying the information that they are given by the people who are wanting to take out a car loan is not stolen. She confirmed they do not verify any information.I decided to file a police report. I gave them all the information that was on my credit report, which included the address of the person who opened the account. The police located the car that was taken out with my information. The police found the culprit who confessed on stealing my information. There are two auto loans that show on my credit report. They are under "Auto Warehouse" and "***************". Both have the same address listed as ************************************************. I went into the store 8/2/23 10am and spoke with ********************* he sold me a 2013 Nisan rogue with ******* miles on it for $18,000 . About a week later I took the car back to the store and spoke with the same guy that sold the car about an issue the tire pressure was always low and the car drags with acceleration he stated that my warranty did not cover those issues and that I should get it fixed and come back for him to put gas In the car. On 9/7/23 the car started jerking I took it to an auto zone where they told me to take it to an transmission shop I took it to a transmission shop where I was told I would have to replace the transmission and it was also a engine issue. I called auto warehouse nobody would help with anything because I was over my 30 day warranty which was over on 9/2/23. *** asked if they can fix the issue and Ill pay them in installments the answer is no Im past warranty they cant help. The car was obviously a lemon when they sold it to me Im a single mother with bad credit I cant get a car anywhere I gave them ***** down payment thats all the money I had now I cant get to work take my kids to school I cant afford yo fix it and pay a car note at once they are not trying to help at all.Business Response

I purchased a 2013 ***** Equinox LTZ from Auto Warehouse on ******. The first few months the car was fine not even 6 months into having the vehicle the engine needs to be replace I guarantee it was rigged up to last as long as it was out of their possession. I called them to ask what they can do and was told they only do 30 DAY WARRANTY like come on be forreal. Im already paying MORE than the car is worth and you say that. What a joke I would never recommend or do business EVER again with this company. Every vehicle has 100k or more miles and yall are getting OVER! The sales lady had a nasty attitude and told me well you did purchase a used vehicle and youre right I did, but dont take advantage of people with limited credit to purchase lemons smh. I made a deposit on a car to the auto warehouse on 08/02/2023 in the amount of $2200 the business committed to selling me a reliable vehicle as a traveling nurse.08/05/2023 I drove the car longer than usual and started to experience slow acceleration, stalling from a stop sign or light with a jerk, also turning the steering wheel I would feel and here noise. I took it to the auto warehouse where the inspected the vehicle twice and said nothing was wrong I have provided both inspections from them here in the complaint as well. I decided to take the car elsewhere and got it diagnosed and was told car needed ******** worth of work. I then contacted the auto warehouse they agreed to fix I declined and asked for a refund. they told me no. I wasn't offered another car and my current situation is homeless. and to top all of this off I received a thank you and welcome call from the finance department on 08/15/2023 letting me know the car had a cut off switch so if I didn't make or miss a payment they would shut my car off and pick it up for failure to pay. The customer purchased the vehicle from the Auto Warehouse on August 2, 2023. I reviewed her contract and ********************* did agree to the starter interrupter being installed on her vehicle.A copy of that agreement is being sent to her.
On August 9, 2023, the customer called in to report that the vehicle was jerking and making a clunk noise and told us that she would schedule an appointment online. She brought the vehicle in on August 16, 2023. We inspected the car and scheduled a new service. The customer brought the car back on August 21, 2023,for service that was covered under the 30-day warranty. Our service department attempted to reach out to the customer but was unable to speak with her.

I am rejecting this response because: AS A USED DEALERSHIP YOU SHOULD HAVE DOT ALL YOUR Is and CROSSED ALL YOUR Ts. In todays economy no have has the money to buy a vehicle with mechanical issue. Especially WHEN YOU ADVERTISE YOUR CARS HAS HAD certified inspections. There is no way your service center was not able to detect what ********* auto shop detected and that was over ******** in repairs. Your service center had plenty of time to resolve this before I brought the car and two times after I brought the car. To resolve this all I would like a refund. And also let me make the choice to purchase a vehicle with a cut off switch. I was not notified about the cut off switch until two weeks after the purchase while receiving a thank you call. I would just love to have a refund or I will take legal actions to receive my money back. The short time I did have the car I spent most of the time trying to see what was mechanically wrong with it and it became very stressful for me. All I want is my money back.

I finessed a car with the below car lot this month, my first payment was 08/14 however the car has serval issues and the warranty is for 30days. I contacted the service department who took 2wks to look at the car and say it was only a holes that was disconnected and that the car needs socks, the holes was re connected and the car has been driving terrible every since, Ive contacted the car lot manager the sells rep the service department as I believe the transmission is going out on the car, I was with my children and the car stalled so bad a truck barely missed us! I keep calling and telling them everything and got an appt scheduled thats for another two weeks out when the warranty a be over. The radio went out, rhe battery is no good, the car smells like rotten eggs to let me further know its issues with the car, there is something leaking from the car, its doesnt drive over 50 mph, its loud and when you go to start it up its takes awhile. I have not had the car for 30days, no one is tryin to help they tell me Wait til the appointment and leave it and at the same time ok required to pay a note and dont have a way back And forth to work and school for My kids. I am rejecting this response because: car is still not repaired! I picked my car up 08/31 after it being there since the 29th and it still drives as if the transmission is failing. The car does not pick up speed! the car is shaking badly as if something is about to fall apart, this has inconvenienced me for a month now. I've had to pay out of pocket 4 times for a tow cause the car kept stopping on me, I paid twice through my insurance and twice from a private tow company. I've had to pay for a rental as the car has been back and forth to the service **** putting me in a tight spot as I have children who have to get back and forth to school and I to work in order to pay anote on a car that is not serving its purpose. I called the payment **** 08/28 to advised that I had to pay out of pocket for repairs/tows/and rental and was advised by a male rep to not pay and to just hold off until repairs was all done and then submit receipts and bills, at around 4:20pm on 8/31 I received a call saying I couldn't pick the car up until the note was paid. No one called none throughout the day to inform me of this, it's like I get different information every time I call or someone calls me. This business does not stand by there word and/or cars, there is no way I purchase a car 07/31 and has had issues since. The car is a lemon!! The business from sales, payment center, and service should be held accountable for selling damaged cars and half doing the labor. I should not be having to come out of pocket for rentals to get back and forth to work when I just purchased a car!!!! There is no way I have to pay for new battery 4tows, and serval lyft rides!! If its possible I would like my money back they can have the car its not even safe to drive the car especially on the express way as the car does not pick up speed and it stalls badly!!!

I got my car june 16 two weeks later the car was making loud noises when i started it up and when i turn the air on. The window wouldn't let down on the driver side and the key was not detected and it was it my hand. The navigation was a fault. The side-by-side sensor was at fault. The car was driving funny. I asked *** the guy that sold me the car to give me a different car i dnt want it nomore he told me to come in. I talked to his manager **** and he said i cnt unless the car is tolled. I called the shop and the first date they were trying to look at my vehicle was 2 weeks away. I call the shop i got the car from and **** said they had a quicker appointment and would bring it to the appointment. Just to find out they never had an appointment so i went a week and half with no transportation until they finally looked at my car and told me what the problem was supposed to be. They kept my car a week and half was telling me i cant get it back and was lying saying the key dnt work. When i talk to the guy at the shop he said they never reported all the problems they only was telling him that it was making a loud noise. When they fixed that i got my car back and a few weeks later the transmission is going out. I am rejecting this response because:
I got the days mixed up the reason i didnt show to the appointment. I brung them the car September 5 for an expectation. They did confirm that the transmission was going out. That they were going to replace it with an used transmission(that okay i guess). My problem is why wasnt you guys able to see that the first time they did the diagnostic. They only temporarily fixing the car instead of finding all the problems and fixing it. I had the car 2 and half months and was only able to drive it for 1 month and half because it keeps breaking down. And every time it breaks down you guys have it for weeks and Im stuck paying hundreds of Dollars for transportation go get around while yall keep putting a Band-Aid on the problem. I dnt have hundreds of dollars for transportation and still have to pay a car note on a car that broke down twice already. They do not offer transportation or care how Im getting around while they take weeks working on it. They sold me a car knowing that it had problems just like they did to others.Sincerely,

I bought a car from auto warehouse now known as carfect on 45 and ******. Immediately once I purchased the vehicle it started to have issues. I took it to the auto warehouse or work twice and was charged over ***** dollars. At first I was ok with getting things fixed because they stated it was used but then more problems started to occur. Fast forward to 2023 my car wont start, the system wont read at all I have no idea whats wrong with the car. Mind you after I got it fixed it starting to break down again but they only give you 30 days warranty. Literally the next day day after my warranty was over it wouldnt start at all. I am a hard working single mom that were referred by someone and I use my car for an everyday use. I am struggling to even get to work and get back and forth with my 4 children due to them selling me an car that wasnt worth the ****** that they say I owe. I am very sad, hurt and upset that I have purchased this vehicle from them. The reason was to save money and no I feel as if they are taking my money for their own reasons. I have never not paid my car note and I have never been rude or given any issues to them and just need my car to work. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution has not been solved. It is not true that I didnt call and make complaints about the car. I was told if it was the same issue that the auto warehouse had just diagnosed that I would have to pay again. I didnt think that was fair due to the fact that *** already paid money that I didnt have. They only give a 1 month warranty which the car immediately started to have issue exactly after the 1 month was over. I did not want to pay for the same issue again. I called and made a complaint they told me I had to have the car towed in and I couldnt make an appointment due to the car not running. Phone calls are recorded!!! I work entirely too much to go back and forth to the dealership. After that I actually came inside to try to speak with someone and no one wanted to talk. They brushed of the issue and said they would get in contact with me. No one did. So finally Ive got the car towed in which costed me over 100$. The problem is the car is costing me a lot of money as I am already paying over ****** for a used car that wont even last a month even after repairs! Thats an big issue. So many things is wrong with the car it wouldnt read in the system at autozone. The car is completely use to me as of now. I have been missing work, my children have been missing school and the only thing they can call me and say is theres a 75$ diagnosis fee. Every since Ive had the car its been issues and all they care about is money. Ive had the car under 2 years theres no way it should have to go under this many services and cost me this much money when as I stated its already costed me much!

When i purhased the vehicle too i was also told that if i refer someone i would get a free monthly payment in june i refered my coworker and she purchased a 2012 kia ****** i called up to the warehouse and gave them my information and told that i was going to receive a call back but never did . So it was time for my car note to get paid and i was late on the payment due to me not having a stable work postion and they shut my car off on me while i was outside the grocery store with my baby. I called and gave them a specific date that i can pay the car note and he tried telling me that i had to pay it earlier than that after i told him i was not working . I just feel like this place was scam aslo because when i first came in and the dealer did my paperwork i told him that i pay 745 for rent and he put on the paperwork that i only pay 300$ . Also told them about the strut and the transmission it went ignored and I was lied to put two used tires on the front that I had to plug two bad tires sent me on my way been trying to reach the auto repair for months spoke to reps went back to where I purchased it they tried contacting auto repair they couldn't reach them I was told they would send an email to the auto repair manager that Day and should hear back that day its been 2 weeks the car only goes about 25/30 miles an hour tried to get help they are rude with gangster style tactics I have filed a complaint with the feds county city and state the attorney *************** and even a **** Congressman and the media they cut my car off the other day I was at work they called I didn't answer payment was due that day the day hadn't ended it was 12 noon they shut the car off . It was due that day .
