      Overcharges sellers without their permission. Won't allow you to cancel or get off their site don't recommend being a seller.

      I purchased 3 hours of tattoo services with *****. I paid $149 for no service. ***** redeemed my coupon days before the *************** shut down business. On 11 May 2020 ***** contacted me to cancel my 12 May 2020 appointment, stating that he would schedule me for late July. I don't think ******* lifted the shutdown order until sometime in 2021, however, I have never heard back from *****, despite leaving him over 20 phones and texts. Groupon demonstrated their lack of accountability by insisting that because ***** redeemed the coupon, Groupon considers the matter closed. I am quite sure that Groupon and ***** have ripped-off a number of their customers through this SCAM. Now I have to spend my time filing complaints against both Groupon and *****!

      I bought a Groupon for a restaurant chain that expired Jan. 17th. When I went to use it on Jan. 17th, it was marked as expired and redeemed. I contacted Groupons customer service twice. The first agent said that it actually expired on Jan. 16th (even though it was clearly written that it expired on the 17th), but it was not redeemed. When I told her I cant get the value I paid of the Groupon because it says redeemed on my part to show the restaurant, she said she could not do anything on her end. I then contacted another agent. They said the Groupon was redeemed on Oct. 22 at 10:22 a.m. I told her that it was not possible that I used it since the restaurant isnt even open at that time. Again, they gave me the run around that it could not be refunded. This is extremely dishonest. Its not even about the money at this point, but the lack of fair customer service. I screenshot both conversations.

      I SHOPPED WITH GROUPON ON 01/17/2023 NOW THEY JUST WONt STOP UNAUTHORIZED TRANSACTIONS FROM MY ACCOUNT.FOR THE PAST TWO NIGHTS THERE HAVE BEEN UNAUTHORIZED TRANSACTIONS.01/18/2023 THE TRANSACTION WAS DECLINED FOR INSUFFICIENT FUNDS BUT ON 01/19/2023 THE UNAUTHORIZED TRANSACTION WAS A SUCCESS.I HAD TO LOG INTO MY BANK ACCOUNT AND LOCK MY BANK DEBIT CARD TO STOP THEM.WHAT I DO NOT LIKE IS THAT I HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE TRANSACTION TO LEAVE PENDING STATUS JUST SO THAT I CAN DISPUTE ALLL TRANSACTIONS.I WANT MY MONEY REFUNDED FOR THE ONE TRANSACTION WHICH I AUTHORIZED AND THE OTHER ONE THAT I DID NOT AUTHORIZE.THE DECLINED TRANSACTION TOOK CARE OF ITSELF ON 01/18/2023 FOR IN SUFFICIENT FUNDS I WOULD NOT ADVISE ANYONE TO SHOP WITH THIS COMPANY AND PLEASE SIGN UP FOR TEXT AND EMAIL ALERTS WITH YOUR BANK.THIS IS HOW I CATCH EVERY UNAUTHORIZED TRANSACTION IMMEDIATELY

      I placed an order for some shirts. After pushing the transaction through, I noticed that my shipping address was incorrect. It was my fault for not updating my address on Groupon because I have not used Groupon since I moved.The transaction process on Groupons site gives no prompt for billing or shipping address before finalizing the order. It would have been easy to catch and fix if this were possible. It only reveals the shipping address once the order process is complete!I contacted customer support immediately, asking if they could edit the shipping address since it would not allow me to. They told me a third party handles it and said they would forward my message to them and that someone would contact me within a business day. After not hearing from anyone over that time, I reached out to them again and was told there was nothing they could do as the order was already shipped.It is also not made evident or transparent that using Paypal prevents customers from editing or cancelling an order. Especially since my old address was only revealed after the order process was complete.This would have all been avoided if I was simply able to cancel the order.After all this I was told by Groupon customer service that there was nothing they could do since they used the address provided (even after my immediate attempt to contact them and fix).Groupons transaction process is not up to par with other online vendors at best and severely misleading and deceptive at worst.

      I purchased a restaurant for **************** in **********. Every time I went to restaurant to use it the restaurant had a sign in the window that said it was temporarily closed. I emailed Groupon and asked for a refund and never received one. This morning in a chat session they said it was marked as being used. It was only a $10 Groupon so I wasnt out much money but because of this experience I will never purchase another Groupon.

      Groupon has a strict refund policy. If you purchase from Groupon, you are at risk of losing your money if something goes wrong with the purchase. Also, Groupon does not provide a way to speak with them by phone. If you find their number on the web, a recording directs you to their website for email or chat support.Once I purchased a large canvas for a personal photo. There was an option to purchase different sizes. I paid the price to purchase a large canvas. When I redeemed the voucher, the company only honored the purchase of the smallest canvas. I did not receive the product I paid for, but I did not complain because the smaller canvas was still nice. My last purchase mishap is not one that I can ************ paid $382 for 3 discounted laser body sculpt sessions from a specific merchant. I was skeptical about this type of service through Groupon. Before I purchased, I read the merchant reviews and read the Groupon customer reviews. Based on those reviews, I purchased 3, not 1, sessions because the reviews said that Groupon doesn't explain that you need at least 3 or more sessions to see results. There were some bad and Groupon reviews. So I took a chance. To redeem I had to contact the company for a consult. I never got to the consult. Upon contacting the company, they declined the voucher and told me to get a refund. The consultant said Groupon clients become upset when they learn they need more than one session for results. In my case, even though I purchased t3 sessions, I'd probably need 6 or more. I could pay the merchant directly for the services, but not through Groupon. When I contacted Groupon by chat, the agent offered a $382 credit per their agreement terms, even though Groupon is at fault for offering a voucher that is impossible to redeem. Also, the agent would not give an address or phone number to file a grievance to seek a refund.WARNING The discount you may receive through Groupon is not worth it if something goes wrong.

      I feel as if I have been completely scammed by this company. On 1/3/23 I went online to Groupon and purchased TWO 120 minute bounce passes for a local place called Uptown Jungle. The 120 minute session was on sale for $12/each. I selected 2 for the quantity and said it was for 2 people. I was charged $24 minus $10 (coupon)= total of about $16 after tax. I went to go print my voucher and there was only ONE voucher. I thought maybe this was an error or they included both vouchers on one. I contacted support TWICE and both times they failed to take my concern seriously. It was as if they didn't even read my concern or look into it. I was told that I only purchased one . I tried to explain that isn't correct and if it were I would've only been charged $12 (minus $10 for coupon)= $2 but that wasn't the case. They refuse to look into it more for me and they also are refusing to issue me a refund! I will not be making any more purchases off of Groupon, especially after being a long time customer and seeing how unwilling they are to offer any support or help to their customers. CONSUMERS BEWARE!!!!!

      I purchased two vouchers from Groupon. I followed the How to Use the vouchers on the back of the voucher. The voucher is invalid and the company will not honor it. I called Groupon and they say they can not give me a refund. Its illegal to sell someone something that is invalid or fraudulent. I will continue to post and contact their customer service until they refund me my money. Its not a lot of money, but its the principle of the matter. They can not continue to go on with these unlawful practices. I feel like I have been scammed and they could care less.

      This is a total mess. I purchased a qty of 2 of a 2 person visit to a local attraction. Instead of getting 2 vouchers. I got 1 voucher. Worked through customer support and they like nope. Cant help you. You got 1 voucher. Its final sale. But thats NOT what I ordered.
