Thank you for contacting us regarding this matter. We appreciate the chance to address the customers concerns. Ticket Fulfillment Services ("TFS") processes orders and provides customer service for online ********************** marketplaces. TFS is not affiliated with any artist or venue and does not generate tickets as a primary box office. This means neither TFS nor the online ticket marketplaces own ticketsinstead, the marketplaces facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. As such, we are able to provide the following information.

We would first like to clarify that the customer made their purchase on March 5th, 2023 for an event that took place on March 17th, 2023. Rest assured, every order placed on the site is backed by a Buyer Guarantee, which means that all tickets purchased will be authentic, valid for entry, and delivered prior to the event. This guarantee is outlined within the terms which were available for review and agreed to during the checkout process.

In this case, tickets for the customer's event were delivered via email on March 7th, 2023. Therefore the order has been fulfilled in accordance with the terms that were agreed to at checkout. It is also worth noting that records on file indicate that the customer downloaded their *********************** on March 16th, a day prior to the event.

In addition to this claim, the customer filed a dispute with their financial institution. As it presently stands, the dispute was resolved in the customer's favor by the financial institution and they have received the funds for this order through them. As such, the customer is not eligible for further compensation and we consider this matter closed. If the customer has further questions regarding the outcome of their dispute, we encourage them to contact the institution with which it was filed.

      Regards,
      Ticket Fulfillment Services

Tickets were purchased on October 8th 2022, I went to check the status of my order and the website stated that my tickets had already been delivered however I never received them. The tickets were for the Arctic monkeys on October 1st 2023. I've tried to call several times to get the response that the office is closed

This means neither TFS nor the online ticket marketplaces own ticketsinstead, the marketplaces facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. As such, we are able to provide the following information.

During the checkout process, customers are able to view the delivery format for their tickets. The selection the customer made was electronic transfer, where sellers transfer the tickets using the platform that the venue has issued tickets through. Customers receive an email with instructions on how to access their tickets, which also contains a link to claim their tickets. If a customer does not see the transfer that was sent to the email address they provided at checkout, the email they received with instructions on how to access their tickets advises them to contact the customer care team immediately. Furthermore, if customers encounter any issues with accessing their tickets through their link, we always welcome them to contact care for troubleshooting. On 3/22/2023 we spoke with the customer and resent their ********************** delivery email. Our records indicate that the original ticket transfer took place on 10/14/2022 and we detect no issues with the original transfer. We maintain the customers order was successfully fulfilled and aligns with the marketplace Buyers Guarantee. As the customer's event has not yet occurred if they have continued to experience issues locating or accessing their tickets we recommend they contact the customer care team.

RE: *********************** performance December 7, 2022, **************. Right when the tickets became available to purchase, I went on the Ticketmaster's website. I purchased two tickets that cost $267.70 total (including all fees). Section 219, row K, seats 7 & 8. The site map at the time of purchasing ON TICKETMASTER.com showed that we would be seated in the next section above the floor (mid section). The map was separated out to be the floor, mid section (200's section) , and upper section that ended at the top of the arena. I would have never paid (or even taken for free) anything at the stop of the area as it is very high and not worth it. When we got to the event, our tickets were actually 7 rows from the top of the arena. So high we could hardly see the performers. Everyone around us said they paid $45.00 per ticket right when the tickets became available to purchase. As I was sitting at the event, very upset on how this could have happened, I went onto Ticketmaster's website and pulled up the map. It was completely different than what was shown the day I ordered the tickets. It showed clearly only 2 different sections, that put the second one above the floor reaching to the ceiling. At that point, communicating with Ticketmaster, and the 3rd party vendor, it is clear there was fraudulent activity going on. Why would our tickets cost almost $300.00 for 2 people for 7 rows from the stop of a very, very, very large arena. Ticketmaster said it wasn't their issue as I purchased my tickets from the 3rd party "Ticketsonsale.com". I did not purchase them from that website. I purchased them on Ticketmaster's website like I do for all of our event tickets. I communicated to Ticketsonsale to get resolution to this and they said not their problem. I submitted a complaint with Ticketmaster and Ticketsonsale and they both say they cannot do anything for me. In addition, there was not receipt given to me for the breakdown of the tickets until I forced it the past few weeks.

      Hello,

We are in receipt of your complaint submitted to the Better Business Bureau. Ticketmaster thanks you for bringing your concerns to our attention.

As you will recall, you are inquiring about tickets purchased for *********************** at The ***************.
According to our records, you did purchase from a 3rd party, then the tickets were transferred to you using Ticketmaster's free Ticket Transfer option.
Please contact your point of purchase regarding the issues encountered during the purchase.

Thank you for the opportunity to respond and address your concerns.

I am rejecting this response because:

The response does not say who it is from. Was it from Ticketmaster or Ticketsonsale.com. The reason why I ask is the response only tells me what i already know (ordered from 3rd party, etc.) and hence the reason why I reached out the to the Better Business Bureau. Ticketmaster is passing the issue to Ticketsonsale, Ticketsonsale is passing the issue to Ticketmaster. I am getting no where. The other part of the their response says "Please contact your point of purchase regarding the issues encountered during the purchase." What does that mean? I see Ticketmaster as the "...point of purchase" since conducted every part of this purchase through Ticketmaster.

      What next?

Thank you for helping in this situation.

      Sincerely,

Thank you for contacting us regarding this matter. We appreciate the chance to address the customers concerns. Ticket Fulfillment Services ("TFS") processes orders and provides customer service for online ********************** marketplaces. TFS is not affiliated with any artist or venue and does not generate tickets as a primary box office. This means neither TFS nor the online ticket marketplaces own ticketsinstead, the marketplaces facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. As such, we are able to provide the following information.

The customer has stated that they believed they were purchasing through the website for the venue or of the event itself. However, it should be noted that the marketplace web address and website branding are intentionally different from those of any other site. The top of every event and ticket listing page states "[This is] a resale marketplace. Ticket prices may exceed face value. This site is not a primary ticket seller or box office." During the checkout process customers are presented with the terms and conditions of the site, and are required to click a box which states, I agree to [TFS] policies and am aware that I am purchasing from a resale marketplace, not the box office or venue, and may be paying above face value. In order to complete the purchase the customer must click "Place Order" under which is stated "By clicking "Place Order", your credit card will be charged $267.70. All prices are in US Dollars. All sales are final."

Due to the nature of the secondary marketplace, neither TFS nor the marketplace through which the customer purchased are affiliated with any artist or venue and do not own inventory. All tickets listed on the marketplace are owned and priced by individual sellers based on those sellers' assessments of changing factors such as customer demand. This means the price is not based on the tickets' original price, or face value, and may be higher or lower than that original amount. Similarly, since each listing is priced by the individual seller so prices may not be consistent across any section or row. All listing prices are subject to change at the discretion of the individual sellers. Since customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, policies are designed to be fair to both parties. This means that a refund cannot be offered and an all sales are final policya standard throughout the industry must be adhered to. TFS's ultimate priority is to continue to providing excellent customer service, if the customer has any additional concerns we urge them to contact the customer service team.

      Complaint: 19321105

I am rejecting this response because:

As I stated many times already. The website was CLEARLY Ticketmaster. I didn't know that the tickets were provided through a 3rd party until I was guided by *********** to look at my credit card transaction, well after the event. I understand the model of 3rd party purchasing and prices vary. That is why I never use 3rd party companies for important transactions for us like this. The issue that I am bringing to BBB is that the website was TICKETMASTER, the map to select the seating and tickets was the WRONG map. It did not show the tickets we bought a few rows from the ceiling and nosebleed section. It showed an additional middle section closer to the stage. Yes, a little more pricey, however, how the map was provided it was worth it to us. As it shows "now" I would never, never purchase tickets that high in a very large arena as I am highly terrified of heights (crippling). That is one of multiple reasons for never buying tickets in that arena location, even if they were free.  So, I would never entertain purchasing at the location of the arena under any circumstances. Especially for almost $300.00. It is a ridiculous proposal and insult that a company would even expect that of a fan and consumer. What was presented on TICKETMASTER's website was a complete fraudulent sale. This is a very disappointing behavior of Ticketmaster for a terrific performer and artist like *********************** appearing for the **********, ** area. The long awaited event for my husband and I was completely ruined.

I am not letting this issue go. It is a monetary issue, ruined long awaited special event issue, poor customer service to the community of talented artists issue, and flat out fraud. Ownership and accountability from someone needs to be done.

      Sincerely,

      ***************************

      Business Response

      Date: 04/07/2023

Thank you for the additional response. We are happy to further clarify the policies related to this concern. As previously explained, neither TFS nor the marketplace through which the customer placed their order are affiliated in any way with any primary market. The marketplace website is not connected to, nor does it direct from, any other website or primary market. The only way a buyer could purchase through the site is to have navigated to the marketplace independently. In accordance with the terms agreed to at the time of purchase the customer acknowledged they were aware that they were not purchasing through a box office or venue site.

Please note that during the checkout process, the customer was able to view the delivery format for their tickets. The selection this customer made was electronic transfer, where sellers transfer the tickets using the platform that the venue has issued tickets through. For this reason, as the customer noted in their documentation, their tickets would need to be accessed through the site the tickets were originally issued on rather than through the marketplace website. The ticket listing the customer selected on 10/17/2022 was clearly labeled as "Section: 219, Row: K" which was shown to be the top level for the event at the selected venue. As it stands the customer's order was appropriately fulfilled in accordance with the marketplace Buyer Guarantee and as such does not qualify for compensation. At this time, we will continue to comply with all terms and conditions agreed to at the time of purchase and consider this matter closed.

      Complaint: 19321105

I am rejecting this response because:

There was/is no where on Ticketmasters Website (on my computer) that ever showed me I was re-directed to a 3rd party. The entire time through the purchase process I was "led" to believe I was working with Ticketmaster. Again, I would never purchase these types of tickets from any other party but Ticketmaster....for this exact reason. Do not want to be taken advantage of. I was directed to download to my Apple Wallet right after the purchase by TICKETMASTER.

The issue here is that I paid outlandish price based on a fraudulent map shown the day and time of the online purchase on Ticketmasters website. I am not arguing the price I paid. I am arguing that the price I paid was for an entirely different location in the arena. That did not exist in reality at the arena, but it did on the map I ordered from the day of purchase, day the tickets opened. I am confused on why this situation has been sent to a team that handles 3rd party transactions. Why would 2 tickets be sold for almost $300.00 when literally dozens of people around me who paid $90.00 for two tickets at the same time as I did, minutes after the sales opened ON TICKETMASTER. The only explanation I can come up with for this ridiculous fee gap would be fraud.  I would think Ticketmaster would be held accountable. Do they now let 3rd party vendors have control on their website, but by using the Ticketmaster name and website? Again, no where did the site tell me i was being transferred online to a 3rd party vendor. This is a situation of fraudulent advertising of arena seating map. I am not asking for a refund, I am asking for the reimbursement of the difference between the true cost and what we paid. I am seeking fairness here.

I am getting tired of explaining that I did NOT place the transaction from a 3rd party website. It was Ticketmaster. Period!!!!  Who is to be held accountable for this?

      Sincerely,

      ***************************

Purchased tickets same day of the event. Ticket were not delivered expeditiously, which lead me to question my purchase. Attempted to cancel tickets and procured tickets from a highly regarded reseller. And those tickets arrived within 3 minutes.Thirty minutes later the tickets did arrive. But in the intervening time I reviewed many poor reviews in BBB and elsewhere through the web that made me question the company's legitimacy. Slow ticket transmittal is problematic for planning of same day purchases. The cost of their service is 20% higher than a more recognizable competitor.

I ordered tickets to the book of mormon on Jan 6, 2023. The show is on March 28, 2023. I have not received an email with a receipt or confirmation of purchase or an email with the tickets ordered. The only proof that a purchase was made is on my credit card statement. I attempted the call the number related to the credit card purchase and was sent to an automated menu which had no information. I would like to sell these tickets as I will no longer be able to make it to the show so I need some proof that I actually bought them and some way to send them to a new buyer. I am unable to sell the tickets even though I already paid for them. I will likely lose upwards of 250 because this company does not send any receipts order confirmations etc.

I purchased tickets to *********************** on December 26, for concert on March 24th. I never received my tickets electronically, but my credit card was charged. In reviewing the transaction on the credit card, the seller indicates that sometimes tickets aren't sent/released until the venue has released them. Yet, less than 1 week until the event, I still have no tickets and no order number to reference (on sellers website). I contacted the company via phone, and they said they had no record of my purchase (but did see a prior purchase). I contacted AMEX to dispute the charge, and they found the charge to be valid. So, here I am, 3 days prior to concert, with no tickets and $300+ later.

Bought tickets through a link from the concert hall that is hosting this event. Tickets are $37.50 each with additional mark up for fees. Submitted payment through this site and completed through paypal which should have totaled at the most $100. Once transaction was completed it showed $249.90. Called the "seller" today and they advised me there was nothing they could do and that they already transferred the tickets through Ticketmaster (funny part is if the concert STILL ISN'T SOLD OUT and they STILL have tickets for $37.50) and yet my tickets are still not showing in the Ticketmaster system and the customer service rep kept repeating their script instead of listening to what I was trying to get help with. How this is legal is beyond me!

However, it should be noted that the marketplace web address and website branding are intentionally different from those of any other site. I understand that this site is not affiliated with any box office or venue. All sales are final. There are no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations. All prices are listed in US Dollars." As noted in the claim, the customer received an email with instructions on how to access their tickets, as well as a separate email which contains a link to claim their tickets, advising them to do so. We have confirmed that the ticket transfer was received on 3/19/2023 and maintain that the link sent was valid. If the customer has experienced issues accepting or locating their ticket transfer, we welcome them to contact customer service for further assistance. As it stands we consider this matter closed.

On Jan. 27, 2023 I googled Monster Truck tickets near me or similar. I was taken to Ticketmaster (so I thought) and I had to create an account there, pick seats, decide on tickets. I bought four tickets for May 6th in ****************** **. There was no indication at any time that I was not dealing with Ticketmaster. No warning that price would be doubled. After buying them it said I paid $619.50 for $300 in tickets. No explanation or anything. Later I found out Ticketmaster says I didn't buy from them. My credit card receipt said one name and then another and only recently did it tell me secure-tix.com was the website. This is a scam. People are being tricked by this website. Is there a connection between the two? I don't even want the tickets anymore.

The top of every event and ticket listing page clearly states, Secondary market tickets. Prices may be above face value." Furthermore, when placing their order the customer was required to select a check box signifying their agreement to the terms of sale stating, I agree to the Terms & Privacy Policy. I have reviewed the Order Summary above. I understand that this site displays resale tickets and that prices may be above face value. I understand that this site is not affiliated with any box office or venue. All sales are final. There are no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations. All prices are listed in US Dollars." Below the terms, the customers order total breakdown was provided. Directly below the Place Order button the customer was presented with the message, "By clicking 'Place Order,' your credit card will be charged $619.50 which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees" at which time the customer proceeded to place their order.

Due to the nature of the secondary marketplace, neither TFS nor the marketplace through which the customer purchased are affiliated with any artist or venue and do not own inventory.

I am rejecting this response because:

There was no website stating anything the vendor alleges. I was taken to Ticketmaster website only, where I chose the seats and created an account and purchased the tickets. At NO time was there any indication that I was leaving the Ticketmaster site. No notice of a secondary ticket site, no warning about horrendous fees and charges, nothing at all. Just a shocking surprise at the end when the charge was more than double what it should be.

The tickets were bought on Ticketmaster, they are stored on Ticketmaster and I was told I had to download the Ticketmaster app in order to use the tickets. There is obviously some backroom connection between the two vendors in order for this to happen, but this company is not being honest about any of it.

This was bait and switch, a scam, and I want a full refund at this point. They can keep their scam tickets.

      Sincerely,

      *********************

Thank you for the additional response. We are happy to further clarify the policies related to this concern. As previously explained, neither TFS nor the marketplace through which the customer placed their order are affiliated in any way with any primary market. The marketplace website is not connected to, nor does it direct from, any other website or primary market. The only way a buyer could purchase through the site is to have navigated to the marketplace independently. Furthermore, we would like to reiterate that the website clearly states, Secondary market tickets. Prices may be above face value." In accordance with the terms agreed to at the time of purchase the customer acknowledged they were aware that they were not purchasing through a box office or venue site.

Please also note that during the checkout process, the customer was able to view the delivery format for their tickets. The selection this customer made was electronic transfer, where sellers transfer the tickets using the platform that the venue has issued tickets through. For this reason, as the customer noted, their *********************** would need to be accessed through the site the tickets were originally issued through. At this time, we will continue to comply with all terms and conditions agreed to at the time of purchase. If the customer has any further questions regarding their order, we encourage them to contact customer care.

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is subpar.

There is no way there was a typologial error.. as my email auto generates on my phone.. i did not receive anything from this company until I made a complaint. My assumption is that if I had not contacted BBB.. I would not have received the tickets.

      Sincerely,
